I would love to see a video of you testing, cleaning, researching and fixing the jewelry. I'm sure it would do great view wise but I'm guessing that's a pretty big ask lol
I have really been enjoying the unboxing! I'm learning how to identify the time period of the pieces i have collected over the years. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Hi Jason happy Wednesday hump day. Love love the Hedi dose 🧣 necklace and bracelet. ❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😊. Love the earrings as well. This part 2 has just adorable treasures. Love the brooches too. Waiting for the next opening Carolyn. See you on the next one. Enjoy the rest of your day
Jason, Marvelous, simply marvelous second installment❣ Will be excited to learn who is the creator of the gorgeous necklace at 31:45.😊 Thank you for sharing your love for these timeless treasures❣
That ring could be amber, when you said it's not amber I was saying it IS amber but you couldn't hear me. 😆 But of course I wouldn't know without testing it.
Hi Jason I know surgery is scary but carpal tunnel even in our little town they have gotten it down to a science. Here they don't even put them fully under they talk with - them while it is going on. The recovery time is not as long as it used to be. You have got this.
Hello! New to your channel and find your content so interesting and relaxing. From Australia and haven’t heard of many of the makers but got very excited to see the orange ring with dark striating. Mum had one from the 60s/70s, so very similar but colouring was lighter and shaped a bit more evenly. Hers is a bone scarf toggle and looks just like it. Exciting to see something I recognise 🥰
Fellow Aussie here! I'm so jealous of all the gorgeous costume jewellery that we don't get here. Nearly all Australian costume jewellery is "cheap" and tends to fall apart after one or two wears! (Or turns your skin green or black)!
@@prestonstmarkethers was bone she said. Looks so much like that one and the roughness inside. I remember that well coz I used to wear it as a ring playing dress ups and it was so scratchy 😅 but I don’t have anything to confirm it unfortunately.
@@Engagecore Lovisa is a prime example! The "sterling" earrings I got from there weren't. They were just cheap wire. Not even stainless steel at that! 🙄 Keep warm! 😘
Hi Jason - the cuff bracelet with paper “Best of Everything “ tag - it’s an accessory store in Florida and Maine. “Very” reasonable priced costume jewelry!
That piece at 43:55 is a lapel or tie clip. Although it looks new and not period, was an 80s trend, a hangover from the "Annie Hall" menswear style. Could be wrong.
I was thinking that ring could be amber, but since you were holding it and said it's not amber I really don't know what it could be! I like it, though.
@@prestonstmarket It’s hard if you’re not a hard-core decades, long Betsy Johnson fan like I am because they’re so many fakes I would say at least 90% are fakes. I just recently sold off most of my Betsy jewelry collection. I kept a few pieces, but it was time for other people to enjoy it.
Im sorry, but ive been watching a lot of these videos and that cameo is a modern mass marketed piece. I think maybe ive seen one real cameo, maybe a few older machine made ones. But thats all.
The camel 🐪 is cute 🥰 but I bet this belongs to a Jewish person to begin with if you know anything about the holocaust just a heads up but I still love your jewelry videos 😊😊😊ask Jadon Adam about the ring 💍

I’m still stumped 😩, I thought it was Mazer, but it is not.

Haha don’t you love that, I talk to the screen all the time 😂
Good video, thank you for sharing,

Thanks for the encouragement!!
Could that yellow/orange ring be tagua nut? Or, some sort of bone? Who knows 😅
It’s definitely organic I’m thinking some sort of bone. The striations throw me off, I just don’t know!
It could be Mammoth Ivory @@prestonstmarketand

The hedi daus bracelets and necklace connect to the necklace.
Yes!
The frog looks costume but cute 😊
Yep

First, hi Jason I love you!
Well hi, I love you too 🫶
❤
I was thinking that ring could be amber, but since you were holding it and said it's not amber I really don't know what it could be! I like it, though.
It’s a unique piece for sure!
Oh heavens! I thought the red necklace at 49:10 was going to be cherry amber bakelite, did you? My heart almost jumped out of my chest!
Oh I wish, I’ve had a few strands in my experience but it’s been many years.
Does the black crystal Heidi Daus bracelets convert the necklace to longer piece?
Yes!! It can extend it or you can wear the extras as bracelets
The huge yellow ring might be Copal.
It came across my mind but it’s way too firm and heavy. I’m landing on some type of bone 🤷🏼♂️
Hi!! The LR is Lady Remington 1990s
You are right!
Hey you just started! Hello!
Hello there and welcome 🫶
The "H" is Howard's.
Thank you!
Hi Jason ! I just wanted to let you know that that is not Betsy Johnson that is China knockoff I’m a bit of an expert when it comes to Betsy❤
I agree with Gina!!
I agree 100%, I was skeptical after the fact.

What does it mean if they are UV reactive? Does that indicate age?
Yes and no, most plastics will react to a black light, but certain glass beads also react, and they are generally considered antique.
"福"means happiness in chinese.
Thank you!!

The iridescent one? It’s definitely not genuine! I have many many real cameos, roughly 100!
