I've been spending too much money in the last 6 months and this advice is definitely gonna help me to save a lot of money that I need. Thank you, Rose! ❤️
Loved your tips! I do the grocery list one, I write one out and I only get what is on the list, without a list I’m all over the store picking up stuff I didn’t even need 🤦🏾♀️ I also have a binder where I write down my incomes, my bills, and everything I spend money on, every transaction even if it’s only .50 cent! (Thank you for responding to me too, I appreciate you, you’re definitely an inspiration!) 💕
Tracking every transaction is the absolute best way, when can be done! Sadly I am constantly running around so I am tracking only the biggest areas where I have the most control, like food. Grocery lists are the best!
I'm still not the best with saving and budgeting but i've been using the acorns app to help me save money. Thrift stores are great and they helped me when I was in college. Also, checking out the clearance section at some stores help but I have to convince myself to not get carried away lol.
I'm graduating this year. I needed this advice because I'm not the best at saving. There's no better time than now to start I guess. Thanks for the great advice Rose.
These are GREAT TIPS!!! I wish people would have told me some of these things too. I learned the hard way. I LOVE YOUR BONUS TIP Build multiple streams of income. The way you do this is with books, investments, digital programs, automated businesses, and other things that will make money while you sleep. The problem with working income is that it is tied to your time. If you stop working, the payments will stop. Unfortunately, this is what 90% of people have as their income source. The wealthy, however, look to ensure their income is scalable and independent of their time. I love your last tip BE SMART!
My mom already told me shes charging me "rent "once i graduate this year (eventhough i plan on pursing my masters), so if i gotta pay at home i might as well move out and get extra benefits. Yes its cheaper to stay home but its just the principal of things. Why are you charging me at all while still in school? its one thing if my family was struggling but thats not the case. it sucks
