all these high dollar on board welders out there and here comes Eric with 36 volts worth of batteries and jumper cables and says "Hold my beer"....love it man, awesome job
@@ITubeTooInc yeah he's got a great video I loved on making them from a old alternator and how to set it up and weld with it, Merlon is a damn smart dude, and builds rad shit
I’m so glad the RecoveryTeam made it to the games. As they stated Eric has been doing great recoveries for years, the lone wolf. Much respect for Eric and his family and friends.
Congratulations on your lift for the shop, and can't wait to see you do this event again! You're just great folks with greater spirit and thank you for your content!👽
I would like to say you did a great job at the games. I loved the advice Rory gave to you, which should be for all of us, build it for what you are going to use it for not just for a one day thing. Rory always seems to me to be the voice of reason and practicality.
CONGRATS ON WINNING OG STATUS 🥇 this was by far the most fun video of the games yet. What a blast. So happy for you Eric and Mara and everyone. You deserve it.
To see the comeradity of the entire group… to notch. Eric has been doing recoveries for a long time… it’s great to see him get the respect he deserves.
My hat is off to BSF. Eric did a great job. I was amazed at his driving skill. He was competing with some guys that do that everyday and he didn’t miss a beat! Go BSF
Robby Layton and recoveryteam are the only two YT channels that I watch every video all the way through without fast forwarding. It was great to watch my two favorite UA-camrs together.
I just watched Matt's video earlier and I loved the reception BSF got from the crowd. Amazing cheering and support despite being so far away from home. And I never would have dreamed the wrecker would have that much flex!
I truly do not know about you till now. Eric you were a great addition to the games, and now an addition to my watch list! Congrats on the lift, and how well you did at Matt's fun for all! I mean the wrecker games. You did especially well with that no good Robby Layton, most corrupt judge ever!!!
The first video of yours I watched was a poor s 10 frozen in a swamp, you got it out and I have been a fan ever since. Thank you for being my eyes at the games!
Watched robbie latons video this morning and absolutely lost it. Super funny stuff. Pretty impressive wrecker you have. Looking forward to seeing next years games
Just found out about BSF recovery through the wrecker games content. Turns out I'm in the same neck of the woods in WI! Can't wait to see the team wheeling and maybe recovering at local events! I'll be the guy in the little blue four wheeler with a roll cage at the Apple valley farms events.
I’m so glad you guys made it, I’ve been watchin you for a decade and you’re the original. Eric walked so Matt could run. Eric started this whole genre and Matt perfected the video part of it and took it to insane new heights, and now Rory has a place and an audience to showcase his amazing work, and Paul and Merlin & others on UA-cam get to show their amazing creativity and workmanship on their machines. It’s a great community. My favorite part of all this is how kind, helpful, and gracious everyone is to each other. It’s so fun to watch when you can tell that you guys all genuinely like each other and it’s never forced or not genuine. Keep doin what you guys do, and I really hope this becomes an annual event and everybody comes back and maybe some new friends can be added too.
Glad to see the wrecker that started it all was at the wrecker games. And did a fantastic job against other wreckers more heavily modified and built more for this type of terrain. I say when the next wrecker games are up they should all travel to the trails that BSF goes to and see how they hold up. I think all the BSF Recovery Team did an amazing job. Especially for being completely out of your element. You guys normally deal with tight twisty trails of mud or clay. Surrounded by tress. Not these trails that are steep terrain and basically rock climbing stuff. It was truly a fun event to watch.
Eric ThankYou for going to the 1st ever OffRoadWreckerGames !! I am extremely happy, and blown away when you were the inspiration of a man that doesn't give up. Congratulations Sir I wanted you to win and you did...Big Time !!
Enjoy the trophy! But we are the real winners. I had never considered battery welding but I'm going to throw a 6011 rod next to my jumper cables now. I'm so glad you guys made the trip!
Thanks Eric, you and you beautiful family made America proud. I am a Nevada desert rat but settled in northern Minnesota. I rooted for you brother. Take care of that family! God bless.
two thumbs up for bsf. awesome attitude despite a diversity for not being set up for the terrain that you’re use to. i hope this show is put on again next year!
That was some awesome old school welding. I seen a short that hinted at it, but said we'd have to wait to see how cool it was. I'm definitely impressed.
I remember the first videos I saw when the wrecker was built and painted 7-8 years ago. There weren't that many others in that field at the time. I was tired of all the commercial custom fake Discovery building stuff, this was the real world where stuff breaks and gets fixed over and over again. It was something you could relate to. I really hope this event boosts the views and subs. Thanks for sharing with us. 👍
Great job Eric. The old truck still has lots of life in it. Just know that in your own element the others couldn't have a chance against you. You should maybe think about inviting them to Wisconsin. Thanks for taking us along.
Eric u and Mara are our favorite team we enjoy all your videos u guys were awesome at the wrecker games glad the wrecker didn't blow on the dino those things are extremely hard on motors
I've been watching BSF now for at least ten years, I'm so glad to see you guys get so much recognition and love. Definitely the GOAT of of road recovery. I have to be honest I cheered for everyone equally all amazing channels and personalities. Buuuutttt! To come out to there play ground and do that work! Still number one folks!
I think it was incredible what you achieved. You were the only one that doesn't wheel like they do with a truck not built for where they wheel. You are truly impressive. I've been watching your videos for years and you continue to impress. Good job!
Eric......THANK YOU for your entertaining show at the event. And CONGRATULATIONS on getting the lift for your shop..!! Can't wait for the install video and first use. All the best...!!
Eric and BFS recovery team I have added you to my list of subscribed and belled. I had not watched any of your vids until the wrecker games but of all the drivers there I think you probably did the most amazing with a truck that is setup for an entirely different kind of recovery that what the rock crawlers did. I am so impressed with your abilities and will enjoy watching your recoverys each and every week. Hats off to a truly amazing job and extremely well liked individual. yip yip huray for you.
Sorry you didn't take first. You gave it you all. You have a lot of fun. Next year you will do so much better. Take care of yourself and family. Hope to see you on the trail. God bless.
Excellent performance!! The original OG! So awesome to watch each of you on your own channels, but then to see all of you together at one event is amazing! While I wasn't able to attend in person this year, watching everyone's perspective is off the charts! Great comradery by everyone including the crowd!
Seeing a tree bucking, pond swimming mud bubble go play in the sandbox was awesome! Held your own against trucks setup just for that area. Lower gear is need for sand hollow for sure. See ya up there soon. Keep trucking!
Good Job at the games, Eric. Hope You get many a use & enjoy the lift presented to You. I sure see that You were taken in complete shock, lost for words & a lump in the thought. I think I'm correct in saying that.
Eric, Mara and Team. I'm so glad you guys looked like you all had a great time at the games. Even though the wrecker definitely took a punishment, it kept on rocking! And your spirits never broke as the man we all know and love to watch. And now you get a new Challenger Lift to fix the wrecker in the new shop!
Thanks so much for putting on a good competition for us all. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we enjoyed watching it. especially seeing you receive the new lift brought tears to my eyes brother! You guys are awesome. Be safe
I love that you have nothing shiny and new but you can hang with any of them. Hope you all do this again. But you sir deserve a hell yea for the work your team does with a lot less money and equipment. And letting the little boy help paint.
Eric I started watching you years ago you are the OG of off road recovery then I started watching Matts off road recovery now I watch them all you guys are all great but I love the fact you put that bad ass ole school square body in places it should never be
Awesome job and a great showing for a truck set up for Wisconsin woods going head to head against rock crawlers and sand guys. Lots of respect for what you do. I used to dirt bike woods trails around Spooner in the 70's and early 80's.
That old truck has had bent frame body work and long list of repairs upgrades over 14 plus years and still is amazing to watch in the woods slinding in snow and crawling on the rocks great job recovery team for years of entertainment
I relate more to the bsf truck than any other rig. I feel like it's something I could afford. Your team is the every man's team ! Even breaking out the batteries to weld. Absolutely awesome!
Well done Eric I was definitely impressed I have never seen someone weld with batteries and in my opinion you are the best when it comes to welding In my opinion. I am looking forward to your next video
Great video!! It's been worth the wait!! I'm very impressed with the way your wrecker performed, the flexibility alone was crazy cool for an old school set up. Goes to show how well an old square body is to start with, and then after your mods ,what it can do! Love the old poor boy welding technique too!! You're just awesome!!
Happy everyone was told who the real og is ..hopefully you make lots of money from all of this, and can build another wrecker purpose built for the games there will be many to come..the wrecker you have now should never change its perfect.. 300 to the wheel was quite impressive you did a good job on the engine
I lived in Western Wisconsin for years, every time I see the Augies sticker on the side of your truck it makes me smile. I downed alot of drinks in that place! Great job and congratulations!
Thanks, Eric!
It was so awesome that you and your crew made that incredible trip all the way out here.
You guys are awesome!
You're the best!
Absolutely love that the game are for the fans!!! What a time!!!
Thanks to you and your amazing team that put it all together!.. I SOOOOO badly want to build something for it, I have ideas
The next wrecker games should be in dresser wisc
I want to see the Wrecker Games Come to Wisconsin. Everyone els can make the trip.
all these high dollar on board welders out there and here comes Eric with 36 volts worth of batteries and jumper cables and says "Hold my beer"....love it man, awesome job
Great video, as for the welders,We can thank Rory for setting the bar
Eric is the God Father of the off road recovery world! ❤❤❤🎉❤🎉🎉 Wisco proud!!!
Merlin's on board welder is home made too.
@@ITubeTooInc yeah he's got a great video I loved on making them from a old alternator and how to set it up and weld with it, Merlon is a damn smart dude, and builds rad shit
everything original off road recoverer on UA-cam.
I’m so glad the RecoveryTeam made it to the games. As they stated Eric has been doing great recoveries for years, the lone wolf. Much respect for Eric and his family and friends.
Way to go! A perfect score!😅 Robby was a great judge for you. You did a great job in the wrecker games.

I loved what Matt said about you! Thank you so much!! "the original"
Originally watched you 6 years ago and was hooked on the content. Was so excited to see the original Off Road Recovery guy out there with everyone
Eric, you KILLED it on that weld!! Totally impressed by you and your team!

I feel I have been watching BSF for 10 years, good to see you all getting the recognition you deserve
Agreed, I hope this helps his channel blow up and he makes the money they deserve.

That stencil paint matching the logo gradiants and everything was super slick.
Glad Eric and family were able to be a part of this. It really added to the games overall.😊
Hope to see you again next year...!!! It was fun watching you compete...!!!!

Man y'all did awesome. Thank you for the showing
Robby probably was loosing his mind looking at the BSF wrecker. Its the definition of a work truck.. definately a body mans nightmare lmao.
I laughed when you were polishing the rodeo and your wrecker was in the background. All the Utah youtubers treated you like a brother.
Great job guys!
