Guinyangan, Quezon
The buling-buling dance has reference to the buling marked on the forehead of people by a priest on Ash Wednesday. Guinyangan town has had the buling-buling dance performed for many years. Its beginning no one remembers, but the traditional dancers recall that the dance was passed to them by their grandfolks. The buling-buling group is composed of elderly couples moving from house to house performing until noontime. After delivery of cash donations each head for home.
