@@edwardcricchio6106 so very true, and actually Tony Danza didn't want Angela and Tony to end up together either, which I thought was so odd. Years ago on his talk show, he made a comment that he felt that the show wasn't about their characters finding love with each other, and never felt they should end up together. He always felt it was more about Tony finding a better life for his kid and then in turn finding a better life for himself. When everyone from the show came onto his talk show for a mini WTB reunion, they did a little WTB skit and Tony Danza had it pick up years later and he had Angela and Tony divorced. It's just a strange way to interpret the story - personally, the show didn't make sense without Angela and Tony getting together in the end. Them falling in love really just made sense, especially for a show with role reversals in the 80's and early 90's. I'm glad they at least ended it with them "together" when he comes back from Iowa to be with her. It was a cool scene, but I was always bummed we never got a wedding. In the UK, they had their own version of WTB called The Upper Hand and the scripts were literally identical, but what that show did that was a million times better was actually have their Angela and Tony get married and it was done very well. In some ways, the UK show had more depth mixed in with the silliness and fun. I think the constant back and forth with Angela & Tony's relationship on Who's The Boss and the rushed ending to officially get them together really robbed us of getting more time to watch their romance...we really only got one season of them as a couple and most of the time they had special time alone, the writing made it so they were constantly interrupted, and then no wedding...was definitely a bummer, but I'm grateful for what we got at least. I read that Tony Danza and Alyssa Milano are trying to reboot the show - I'm sensing a disaster waiting to happen. It's apparently just supposed to be the two of them, no Angela or Jonathan, and unfortunately with Catherine Helmond passing away a couple years ago, she can't be involved. I just hate reboots when they mess with the original ending, and I'm afraid that they will say that Tony and Angela didn't stay together after all. Most likely I'll skip watching it if that's the case. Kind of pointless to watch it if Jonathan and Angela aren't involved.

Yes. I sure wish they had gotten married. tony sure could've used a companion in his life after he lost the love of his life, Marie, and Angela surely deserved a second chance at happiness too especially after her ex husband michael got married for the second time to a woman named heather
