I think the crew forgot that the island that they are now is the actual Ishigami village.. and that the people of Kohaku originally came from this island and moved to another by boat. That's why the space ship is there.

10:00 - This island is where Senku's dad and the other astronauts landed. That's why the astronauts couldn't rebuild civilization like Senku, bc they lacked the resources on such a small island.
That's why they tried to leave for Mainland Japan, but the astronauts that left died in a storm, so the village Senku found originally, where Chrome and Kohaku are from came later, from descendants of the astronauts finding it, which is also why they never developed tech as they were later generations who didn't know about science and all the modern inventions.
This Island is the Origin Hub for ALL the ISS survivors. It has the Soyuz pod where they recovered it from the sea landing. They have suffered thousands of years of drift from the colony as they were the "Stay Behinds" as Ishigami and others explored and eventually migrated to Mainland Japan by Island hopping. Thee could be ANY NUMBER of additional colonies established and lost or cut off over the course of all the exploration and quests for resources..
Remember that Ishigami Village has Guards and Policies for "Outsiders"? These would have to be factional splinter cells of the Ishigami migration in addition to any "Exiles".

Hyoga didnt really beat Tsukasa, he just attacked his sister so that Tsukasa would jump in the way.
