Glitch. Also when I uploaded a recording and screamed too loud, the sound cap was broken. I think that's how he did it
Make sound fast, then make it very loud and then back to slow.
And how did you get the echo back also..? Scratch addons…?
Put both select points either at the very start or end of the sound, the sound has to be very short to effect anything.

How to break Scratch sounds? Just use the feature, it's so bugged it'll break by itself.

It was a 2.0 feature (i think) but it got deleted. There is a Scratch Addons addon that adds the echo button back.
