Definitely call code enforcement. They are being creepers and straight a holes lol. I have had my fair share of shitty neighbors. Karma always gets them in the end though.
I agree. I have had some bad neighbors. I have lived in this house for 5 years, and have had a share of neighbors. I live in a condo, and the first bad neighbor was our landlord. Our house has bad carpet, and he promised to fix it, and asked my mother out, she said no and he refused to fix it. He moved out because the house had stairs and he had knee problems. Then we got some new neighbors, which was a rehab. They were totally doing drugs and drinking, and once drove their car onto our pathway. My mom politely asked them to move it, and they refused. They then went to call her horrible names that I heard through our window.
Definitely put a shed there! That's probably the best thing you can do, I think if you call code enforcement on them it might just escalate, but yeah, so weird of them to just stand in the middle of the yard and watch you for a prolonged period of time.
Yeah I do worry about it escalating, especially with the completely random call to the fire dept when we've had countless fires here. They seem to just be looking for things to complain about...and I'd have originally said that maybe they're just lonely but they give us dirty looks so it's probably not that haha
Just tell code enforcement. It's already legitimate. They just gave reason. Don't even tell them you're doing it. It's none of their business who's reporting them
I would definitely call code enforcement after that BS. I also would have told the fire department about the neighbour creeping on you and that it was him that called the fire department, a lot of the time they will go talk to the person and scold them for making a non-emergency report lol
Yes lol I would have told them exactly who called. The only way people learn to stop being petty is to get into trouble. I love the elderly but these people sound like those that just hate younger people for existing.
I apologize in advance, but please be careful that they don’t throw something in the yard for Gypsy to eat. I live in a retirement community and it’s happened here. Again, sorry to go there.
Oh thank you for mentioning the possibility of that, we'll definitely watch out for stuff like that! I wouldn't put it past them honestly, and it hadn't crossed my mind until you said it. They do seem to have a weird vendetta against her...I think they see that she's big and assume she's a vicious dog but she's just really lovey and wants everyone to pet her lol
Good call! Now that I think of it, I remember my Mom's best friend had a horrible neighbor and they just hated their bulldog, which was only outside to go to the bathroom and have a little playtime. One day, it was poisoned with antifreeze (I believe it was). Of course they couldn't prove the neighbor did it, but they are pretty sure he did.
@@missjamielyn I had the exact same thing happen but with my cat. New neighbors put out a can of wet food with rat poison. For no reason!🤦🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️ never wondered over there. They put the can right in our yard over the fenc...I got the can and had it tested. The husband went to jail and paid a severe penalty and can never own any animal. How can any human purposely poison/hurt an innocent animal. Hopefully everything will be ok with these neighbors 🙏🙏🙏
Thankfully I live in a neighborhood filled to the brim with animals. Our dogs aren't even the most vocal. The people next door have three large dogs that could probably eat my dogs if they wanted to and could. lol Then the neighbor on the other side, their son has a bulldog that sounds like she smokes a pack a day. Then down the street four doors down, they have four dogs, like five children, and a pig named Charlotte that's about the size of a large dog and continues to get bigger. She's a sweetheart, really, but when she was just a little thing she'd always get out and walk around the neighborhood. Three doors down between us and them is a nice woman with a husky and a German Sheppard, I believe, who I happen to be friends with. Then we have my two dogs who are rat terriers who just love to tree squirrels and bark their butts off. One of which is old and he honestly just likes to bark for the fun of it. He's the dog version of the old man that yells at kids on his lawn. Them and the neighbors large ass dogs always have little powwows when they're all out there. I call them playdates, because they all just stand there barking at each other through the chain link fence. Anyways, I'm just thankful that we don't have a problem with non animal lovers in my neighborhood. We're right at the edge of the city, so animals are all over the place. Stray cats and foxes and owls and coyotes. Hell, I've seen fawns and does in the edge of the backwoods. We also have a peacock nursery down a couple blocks, and then there are alpacas hanging around there as well. Over all, a very animal friendly place to be. Pretty sure that if anybody ever tried that type of ish here, there'd be hell to pay and someone would get shot. Don't mess with midwest, rural area gun and pet owners. Shit goes down fast if a pet or person is hurt in any way. We protect our own, whether they're human or not. Old, young, etc. Man, did I write a novel. I'm sorry. lol
@@TheNightOwl1212 ...... Love your stories ...... I wish Brandon would have told the lady ....... "don't worry about our dog , he never leaves the yard , my advice to you is to control your cat and keep him off our property and you will not have a problem" ...... "have a nice day".
Before calling code enforcement, I would formally introduce myself and try to talk to them, even if it is just general conversation. Many times older people are wary of younger people just because of crime, laziness, etc. They made be worried about these things and not knowing who you are could influence these feelings. They grew up in a generation where neighbors introduced themselves and got to know each other. Just a different perspective and option.
The Shed is A great idea... sometimes “killing with kindness” works so well. Say Hi Introduce yourself, send them a little bit of home baking, be super nice and see where that takes you, with them.
Talk to your landlord about having a privacy screen placed. Chances are they have done this to previous tenants. Privacy screens can be a variety of colors, shapes and sizes.
We previously lived in a neighborhood where we were all friends and hung out every weekend (we usually had a bbq or did a small campfire for the kids to roast marshmallows nothing crazy)... with the exception of one family. They refused to leave the house and we never met them. Like clockwork they would call the police and fire dept. every single sat night over the summer... we eventually got to know the fire fighters so well we would have their hot dogs and burgers ready just they way they liked and they would know our kids by name during fire prevention week at school😂 eventually they brought the police with them and told the lady if she called again they would arrest her for false 911 calls.
I would totally wave at them like a crazy person and greet them oh so sweetly every single time they stare at me. Like the saying goes "kill them with kindness". 😄
I live in Maine as well and, maybe it’s something in the water, but our neighbor is overly nosy as well. She also kept coming into our yard, telling us where we could and couldn’t plant flowers, told us to get rid of the beautiful lilac tree in our yard because the septic was under it (it wasn’t - it was on the opposite side of the house and she knew that). Look in our windows and knock on them to get my attention rather than use the front door. Etc. It all came to a head one day when she came into our yard and pointed at a small hole in the ground and told us we needed to get it filled. We had been planning on it but had moved there recently and hadn’t gotten around to it. She then backed up, “fell in the hole” and called her friend to bring her to the ER. She came back in a sling and neck brace (that I never saw her wear again), and told us that her insurance company was “BEGGING” her to tell her who’s property caused her to hurt herself because she had “every right to sue us”. We built a giant 5ft+ wooden fence right after that and facing her house so she couldn’t just walk into our yard and look in our windows anymore.
I get what you're saying about the light pollution and if you can do something about it, do it. I live on a street with all 2 family apartments and shared driveways. My neighborhood isn't very dangerous, but we've had cars getting broken into so my landlord installed new floodlights on my back porch, the side of my building, and my neighbors that are right outside my bedroom also have one. I can't do anything about my situation (until I move out) but have curtains. That was seriously a waste of resources to call the FD and they should've just spoken to you about it.
Yeah I’m glad we have the blackout shades at least but it is a bummer when we just want to have the shades up and the windows open and have to deal with that glare. We’re buying a house hopefully soon so that’ll fix the issue!😊 as for the fire, yeah he should have at least come over to the property line and said something. He most likely couldn’t even see the full fire from where he was standing because of the tree line, so I don’t think he even could see the size of it. He just apparently felt like being a jerk at that moment
@@TheNightOwl1212 Girl I feel so bad for you. I had an inconsiderate neighbor 2 years ago, I would come home from work at 12-12:30 in the morning and on the last day he lived there, he had his friends in the driveway right outside my window, playing cornhole and being OBNOXIOUS. I liked him but that was just one example of how annoying he could be at times
I totally get how you feel about being spied on and the light. We have two neighbors that regularly spy on us when we're outside in our backyard and one of them has some lights up that shine right into our bedroom window all night long almost every single night. And the other one actually put a frisbee golf goal on our property so we're going to be getting a surveyor out here so that we can make them remove it because they've been asked you and haven't in 6 months. It's all really frustrating.
The direction of the lights can be changed. Tell them to have their electrician face the bulb downward. The other thing you can do is unscrew the bulb just enough where it's still in the fixture, but not engaged.
Such a wild fire party !!! Those people are crazy man you two did nothing wrong and even the fire department was like yeah no big deal not causing any harm.
Definitely know what its like to feel like you are being spied on! We have an older man that lives right behind us, and everytime anybody is out in their own yard doing yard work or whatever and he will drive by or ride his bike by our houses and take pictures of us working in our yards. Last fall, my husband and his moms husband were taking down our chimney because we had just gotten rid of a fire place and when we called the cops for harassment, he actually told them that it was his business what we were doing on our own property because he lives behind us and his driveway goes right by where we were working.
I think gypsy thinks she's a big cat, I have had some awful neighbors. Our neighbors now give zero effs about their dogs who now live at my house, we now feed them and give them baths, they run back to their "owners" when the woman comes home. They are ok neighbors though we never speak but I will dm you a really funny story.
Omg she totally DOES think she’s a cat😂 she curls up like the kitties, tries to lay on our laps like them, always just wants to play with them hahaha. She so cute, she’d never hurt a fly so I hope they don’t randomly complain about her 😞 and oh no! I’m glad you’re able to give them some love at least. We have a dog that roams our neighborhood too, his owners don’t pay attention and so many people have called animal control about it. Nobody wants to see him get hit by a car or something like that.
@@TheNightOwl1212 awe I knew it because when I had my puppy he was a black lab and he thought he was a cat. Unfortunately he broke his runner and ended up getting ran over after that we couldn't get a new dog. I'm scared these dogs might get ran over to. The female dog is a lazy lady who loves to lay in the road it scares me she's so sweet and my father in law brings her home a biscuit every day plus he gives her leftovers. She knows when he opens his backdoor she's getting something yummy. They recently let their very large younger male dog roam free and he was intimidating at first because he is very large but he's a sweetie and just scared of people. He grumbles at us like he's trying to talk to us. I didn't know they also have a cat I used to always wonder why the female dog we named Sally grumbles at my cats when they are in the window now I know.
Shed is a good idea. Also lilac bushes planted a bit close together in a line to each side radiating out from the shed (at least that's how I am picturing it). I'm a grumpy old woman myself, with lots of experience, soooo let me tell you what may help a bunch; Ignore, and I mean pretend these people are actually invisible (your cannot see them!) and you are not even able to hear them. Never ever give them eye contact. To you they occupy some other universe. Never reply. They do not exist in your world. Whenever you give a look or a reply you grant them enormous amounts of power and that is exactly what gives them "joy". Think of them as annoying and much younger little brothers (sorry guys). Take care of yourselves and your own and do not grant them any more "power".
I’m a fan of fight fire with fire. We have a neighbor that also has a large security light at the top peak of their two story house. It shines directly into our back yard. We have a beautiful yard with a koi pond and fire pit. We work so hard to make our yard beautiful and we like to enjoy it in the evenings. They turn their light on every time we’re out side. So. We also bought a security light with the highest lumens we could find. Aka the power of the sun. Pointed directly back at them. As soon as they turn their light on, ours goes on too. Guess what? They stopped. 😂 gotta love thy neighbors, just making sure their house it lit too.
Try to get to know them. Put in some effort in making conversation with them. Make them an apple pie or invite them over. Eventually bring bring up the light. Very lightly.. and then maybe bring it up again. Ask if they had any bad experiences in the neighborhood. Eventually kindly ask them to remove it. Get that storage and block their view. It might have been rude or inconvenient how the older couple went about everything. But I’ve had a loving, loving, loving stubborn grandpa😉. Who could come off odd or rude.. but once that barrier is broken... just a stubborn, generous, loving, joy to be around. Always giving his advice to others and would put the effort into caring about them. once you break that ice.. and put a little effort. It may turn around. Old people tend to stare. Not to be mean, but because they are curious and concerned. At that age they could be oblivious to “how “ people “should” act socially. Make some effort in getting to know them tho. Not just “how are you doing”. Maybe ask if they have any tips on getting a security system, gardening? Places to eat?You have a perception of them .. and so do they. So make the first move🙃 even if they stay an odd older couple. Most ppl don’t understand how to get older couples... (that may have had it rough) to break down their walls. .. all this advice .. is coming from someone who hates confrontation too❤️❤️❤️good story time video ❤️can’t wait for any updates 💕
U shud just go over to the edge of your yard and stare at them when they’re out there staring at you, just stare back and wave lol and don’t stop until they get the fucking hint. I can’t stand how the elderly feel entitled to the ways of the world. They really think it’s their way or no way and yes I can say that bc I take care of the elderly for a living lol
I have a particular group of neighbours that are just rude for no reason and strangely enough they have a spotlight that shines into my bedroom window. Its one with a sensor and always seems to turn on whenever i open my curtains at night. Ive been thinking of reporting it

"We hear what sounds like..a DUMP Truck"......hahahahahaha
My neighbors used to call the police repeatedly on my brother for having pool parties with his friends at night. they could have just asked them to be quieter. Not to mention that my parents were around and there was no alcohol!
i would be very upset, they actually put your life in danger since fire fighters come into contact with a lot of people & they could potentially be carrying virus. our directive here in the West Island of Quebec is to only call police and fire if its absolutely necessary to limit contact. Im not a vindictive person or a confrontational one, but id def march over and ask what their problem is? or call about the light. what a waste of resources...they must be bored.
That's a good point about the virus! Luckily Brandon and the fireman maintained a decent distance from each other, but yeah emergency crews should not have to waste their time especially with everything going on. And I agree, they must be SUPER bored...
Sounds like typical southern Maine elders in a certain area:) I live in Maine, many elders in certain areas are rather stif with how things should be (their way). They also may be suffering from dementia, which decreases flexible thinking. Chin up, thank you for doing your part to keep all Mainers safe!
I work at a fire department and we get BS calls for stuff like this all the time. Trust me, we might get a *little* annoyed because its not actually a fire but we are honestly more than happy to get out of the fire house later at night before we go to bed. but yeah, i would definitely call code enforcement on them and if they keep staring at you i would say to make a formal complaint but you dont live in apt buildings
It honestly sounds like they might be senile. The standing for 20 min staring at you guys is not normal behavior especially since they saw that you looked over and knew they were watching. Also, from the pic I’m glad their house is decently far away from your yard!
There are some people who expect (no, demand) that everyone around them be extra responsible and reasonable while they are neither. It sucks. Please be extra careful as in situations like this, people have been known to leave poisoned food in yards where they for some reason dislike or are scared of an animal.
You’re more patient then me the first time they started staring I would have been asking what their problem is, and I’d be staring at them back. They wanna fight I’ll fight back. Also put a mirror up in your window to reflect that light lmao.
We have a neighbor who likes to stare too and thinks we don't see him. We call him the creeper. First night in the house we found him trying to look over our fence into our bedroom windows. That day went out and bought curtains not caring if they matched.
People call the Fire Dept for the dumbest shit. I work for a newspaper and a fireman once told me that someone had called them because they saw "thick black smoke" coming from a window. It had actually just been steam from a pot of soup in a kitchen.
Love the video!! Gotta love nosy neighbors (not!) Lol We have definitely had an old neighbor like that. she was our neighbor in a duplex. She too kept her house immaculate and was very rude to us. She has called the police saying our grass was too high when it wasn't and even the police said "it doesn't look high..?" We got some chickens to keep in a pen that she complained about saying we were now encouraging all the wild animals (possums and raccoons) to come to the neighborhood. 🤷 how? I don't know... And then once we got rid of the pen for a different reason, we had a privacy fence put up. She could not see into our backyard, but one day claimed we had our chicken pen back again. Claimed it in a way that led me to believe that she had looked over the fence into our backyard. Then there were many flies in her garage one day. They apparently were landing on the wall in her garage that connects our garages together. She claimed that there was something in OUR garage that the flies were smelling and that's why they were landing in her garage on that particular wall.... Uhhh what?! I ultimately think that old people just don't have much going on and their house is one of their only pride and joys and so they're just going to be nosy and annoying about everything. They are bored. I think you are right about that. Love the video very entertaining Good job keep it up
We are awaiting a decision from our venue right now! Working on a backup plan in the meantime, so I'll be sure to keep everyone posted! And I know hahaha, I thought it was really funny but also felt bad that the fire dept geared up and wasted their time coming to our apt...it was a pitiful fire by the time they got here lol
I have never been shocked by UA-cam storytelling vids but I was literally the 😲 emoji when the fire truck rolled up! That is so rediculous I never would’ve guessed they would do that. What a desperate power play on their part! You handled it so well though. 👏
I truly don’t understand why y’all don’t just get permission from the house owner and just build a wooden wall that can be taken down when you move, just where it faces their house. So they can’t see your house.
Our landlord would have to approve it, since we rent. There’s a tree line there already but it’d definitely be nice to have a privacy fence! I’m hoping the shed works out and he lets us get that because we A. Need the storage and B. Could block a lot of the spying and light that way!
@@TheNightOwl1212 make sure you can take it too your new house with you, itd be a waste of money too buy it and have too leave it. I love you channel btw😊
they need to feel considered as the bosses of the surroundings, it's like this with older people been there. however i personally didn't put up with it... with older people it's kind of a code, that you as a younger one should go over and say hi first time - when they start to stare. ask them how they are, maybe they need help with something, compliment them about the garden... talk to them, if they have a good garden it means maybe the can at least stick to what they say. in your case i really think it's more about them feeling noticed. if that doesnt function, call in some for some extra help..
So like can we see some dog content? My cat's name is Gypsy and my daughter's puppy is half great pyrenees so I'm intrigued! Sorry you're having neighbor stress. My neighbor has loud parties and lets her pets roam the neighborhood and it causes problems, so I totally understand your pain!
It seems like they are TRYING to find a reason to not like you guys. Seems like they can’t handle that you are 2 young people who actually can’t give them a reason to be mad.... so they’re mad 🤣🤣
I feel like they could get fined for calling the fire department on that. I mean, they must know that was TOTALLY unnecessary. I’m so sorry you had to go through all this
So essentially live next to the Karen's..... Oh my god, girl when you said that the old man told the firefighter that it was an out-of-control fire, I eye-rolled so freaking hard...Like I could probably hear my muscles twinge I eye-rolled so hard. ¯\_〳 •̀ o •́ 〵_/¯
I highly highly highly suggest talking to your neighbors about the issues y'all have before going to anybody who owns the apartment because I've seen other videos where they're too scared to say something to their neighbors and they to someone that owns the building and runs it and it turns into a bad bad bad situation. As human beings we should be able to call me talk to each other and tell each other when something isn't right. At least give them that option to be understanding because you don't know their situation. It's highly unlikely but maybe they had a family member died from fire or something like that you just never know so that's why I say it's good to talk to them first as your first option
You should check out Tara Michelle’s page. She has a few videos with footage on her INSANE neighbor. Poor girl had to build a massive fence to block the neighbors view since she kept spying on her and harassing her.
My neighbors are a-class neighbors like this, except they love doing burnouts and love to try to fight with us after getting blackout wasted every Friday night
Nosy neighbors are the worst. We have a neighbor who called the cops on us because we were literally having our house painted ON THE INSIDE but "construction" is not allowed by the Homeowners Association on saturdays
The light is not nuisance lighting if bulb is under 7000 lumens. I don't think they're doing it on purpose it's just for security purposes;-) maybe he's starting because he wants you to talk to him. You have to be the bigger person so you always come out as right! You have to not engage with CRAZY...
PLEASE report them. You have been nice long enough imo. Both my Father and my Husband retired from our local Fire Dept & unfortunately they get unnecessary calls more often than you would think. I have other Family members who are also Firefighters/Paramedics etc. Don't allow this couple to continue too bully u AND cont too call the FD just to bully u. Put ur shed up. Report their every single stalking moment etc. This way when the FD is called they will know it's going to most likely be a waste of their time & it won't be "As entertaining" for yr neighbors any longer. Jmo. Congrats on ur upcoming wedding. Love from Alabama.. ~Shay
I don't know if you have a fence, or if so how tall it is, but I would suggest to your landlord about getting a privacy fence. From the sounds of it, I'm sure the previous renters had issues with them and future renters after you probably will too. They're creepy and I wouldn't trust them at all. I would also totally call code enforcement. Where I live in the country, most people have flood lights but they're usually motion sensored. I am a paranoid person and flood lights make me feel a lot more comfortable. However, it's not fair for them to have it on a lot and to have it pointing in your house.
This video got me! I don't usually comment... but bad neighbors are the worst! Sorry if I missed this, but sounds like they recently moved in? Very strange that they'd be newer to the neighborhood and behaving this way. They can't move into a place and expect all of their neighbors to conform to how they want to live, but with elderly people that's not uncommon. Funny when you got to the fire story because I was waiting for it... they're going to watch you and report you for breathing the wrong way until you move. They're annoyed they can't let their cat out because of your dog. They're annoyed you're young and enjoying your lives and living... in your yard. It has everything to do with them and nothing to do with you. I would definitely call code enforcement on the light and if you catch the staring again I'd call the police. Take photos. That's stalking and they have no right to make you uncomfortable in your home. Just a tip... if you say nothing and this escalates, law enforcement may not take your complaints seriously after the fact. Stay safe!
Omg. Those neighbours. You just stand your ground and dont take any bullshait from them. Those kind of people just gets crazier if you dont do anything. Lol. Thanks for the good laugh 😂
if it's possible you should put a mirror or something to reflect the light back on to their house!! see how they like it !! hahaha

Hahaha ohhh I know a shed is going to drive them absolutely NUTS
@@TheNightOwl1212 ...... Love your stories ...... I wish Brandon would have told the lady ....... "don't worry
about our dog , he never leaves the yard , my advice to you is to control your cat and keep him off our property and you will not have a problem" ...... "have a nice day".
Document everything!!!!! They are clearly harassing you.
Omg, your puppy is so cute! Big fluffball. 🥰😍
Thank you! 😊
They’re probably just salty and bored 😓 the shed sounds like a great idea! I hope it all works out, please let us give an update one of these days! ❤️
Yes, so much more of these! I love them. It makes me appreciate my normal neighbors. Haha.
Keep on making storytimes please!!! Love story times.
Talk to your landlord about having a privacy screen placed. Chances are they have done this to previous tenants. Privacy screens can be a variety of colors, shapes and sizes.
My husband is a firefighter it is super normal he gets called out on fire pits all the time from nosey neighbors 🙄
Oh my gosh I died laughing at the firetruck coming down the street 😂 they’re just jealous that you guys are still young 😂
When they stand there staring, just Smile and wave 👌🏻😂
It's all really frustrating.
if you guys want more neighbor drama, watch tara michelle's vlogs about "the witch" lol
@@diverchik11 I've been watching those! That's some crazy s*** she went through!!!
I've seen those! Seriously crazy!
@@diverchik11 I've see all of those. That is super crazy. I hope my neighbors don't get the crazy.
What is it with old neighbors and staring?? It’s the creepiest thing. Happens to us all the time. Our neighbor also looks like Walter white 😂
Fire pits also usually don't apply to fire bans bc they're completely contained
At least that's how it is in Colorado where I live.
A good you tuber from Maine, nice! Good work keep it up. I am in Wells. Let me guess, Biddeford?
Yup, call and report them. It's time.
Love from New York
I had to rewind like four times I kept getting distracted and trying to read your movies
So sorry you are dealing with this. Good luck! Definitely report them! by the way, what is a "runner"?
I had the same question
Kinda like a zip line that a leash can attach to so the dog can run along the length of it
Lol! When I light up the grill, it’s worse than your fire pit.
I’ve always had the coolest neighbors. Thank god! There are sooo many neighbor horror stories on You Tube!
Definitely get a shed. We only have neighbors on one side of us and we both pretty much keep to ourselves.
Best way to be I think, pretty much the majority of time.
Wow that light is like the sun shinning 😂😂
Busybodies, just plain annoying busybodies.
We have a neighbor who likes to stare too and thinks we don't see him. We call him the creeper. First night in the house we found him trying to look over our fence into our bedroom windows. That day went out and bought curtains not caring if they matched.
Can someone explain what a “runner” is ?
A leash on a cloths line type thing.
You couldve just asked them to take the bulb out of the side that faces you 😂 they wouldnt have had to replace the whole thing
People call the Fire Dept for the dumbest shit. I work for a newspaper and a fireman once told me that someone had called them because they saw "thick black smoke" coming from a window. It had actually just been steam from a pot of soup in a kitchen.
You should make more oblivious videos for me to show my little sisters
Is this in Lewiston?
Love the video very entertaining Good job keep it up
I just about died when you said firefighters 😂😂😂
We have had similar problem. We had someone call the fire department 3 times in a week.
Is the wedding on? That’s so annoying with the neighbors.......what were they thinking when they called the fire department??????
We are awaiting a decision from our venue right now! Working on a backup plan in the meantime, so I'll be sure to keep everyone posted! And I know hahaha, I thought it was really funny but also felt bad that the fire dept geared up and wasted their time coming to our apt...it was a pitiful fire by the time they got here lol
I have never been shocked by UA-cam storytelling vids but I was literally the 😲 emoji when the fire truck rolled up! That is so rediculous I never would’ve guessed they would do that. What a desperate power play on their part! You handled it so well though. 👏
I subscribed just because you're a fellow Mainer.. I'm located in the central part of the state.
I truly don’t understand why y’all don’t just get permission from the house owner and just build a wooden wall that can be taken down when you move, just where it faces their house. So they can’t see your house.
I have been waiting for this since your Instagram story lol 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
How is it going with all this?
Can you build a fence so they can't spy on you?
Our landlord would have to approve it, since we rent. There’s a tree line there already but it’d definitely be nice to have a privacy fence! I’m hoping the shed works out and he lets us get that because we A. Need the storage and B. Could block a lot of the spying and light that way!
@@TheNightOwl1212 make sure you can take it too your new house with you, itd be a waste of money too buy it and have too leave it. I love you channel btw😊
Wow! So sorry you have ( had) extreme nosy neighbors! Sounds stressful
I’d build a portable screen for future ‘fire’ nights.
they need to feel considered as the bosses of the surroundings, it's like this with older people been there. however i personally didn't put up with it... with older people it's kind of a code, that you as a younger one should go over and say hi first time - when they start to stare. ask them how they are, maybe they need help with something, compliment them about the garden... talk to them, if they have a good garden it means maybe the can at least stick to what they say. in your case i really think it's more about them feeling noticed. if that doesnt function, call in some for some extra help..
A fellow Maine UA-camr that I can relate to!😀 I just subscribed and I just started a UA-cam channel myself. I eagerly await more content from you!😎✌
Sounds like some old codgers with not much to do! It sucks having a crappy neighbor. Looking forward to your next story time!!
I would just definitely put the shed up. At least it would give y'all some privacy from the creepy neighbors.
Privacy fence and turn in the light problem
I feel like they could get fined for calling the fire department on that. I mean, they must know that was TOTALLY unnecessary. I’m so sorry you had to go through all this
You're a better person than I am 😂 I would have called code enforcement the moment the fire department left. I'm petty 😂
If I woke up to a bright light in my window like that id probably be like 'omg it's aliens!!' 😂😂😂
Yikes. Sounds like it's time for a giant privacy fence and / or that shed lol! Attach a mirror to the shed if they continue 😂
These grumpy old people. You have some patience...
I’ve never heard anyone call it a runner 😂😂
Yes i seen those videos. That neighbour has definitely got mental health issues!!!
My neighbors are a-class neighbors like this, except they love doing burnouts and love to try to fight with us after getting blackout wasted every Friday night
Pretty fire pit by the way
Nosy neighbors are the worst.
You should watch Tara Michelle’s neighbor series. Super similar except flipped lol

Okay but who has fires in the summer loll I get hot too easily
Hi
Hi! :-)
Call code enforcement. They've already stepped over the bringing in outside law boundary.
