Thanks Colin. Bingley is a cracking town. You can walk for miles in any way on the tow path. And stunning scenery. No toilets on the station !!!! Progression aparently.
I was born in a nursing home about half a mile from the top of the five rise locks and started trainspotting at Bingley station when I was seven, 85 years ago.
Fantastic that. I bet it was an amazing place to be there at that age spotting. My dad's from Skipton and I love it when he tells me tails about what it was like.
Nice to see the three locos on their way back from the KWVR gala, we went on the Saturday and enjoyed a brake van ride behind 37250 a fantastic few days.
It was great to see them return. I wanted footage of 250 as I missed out at the gala, as it didn't come out until late afternoon on the Friday, and I'd left. Must have been great been pulled by that . Awsome
