Long story short:
- row (record) of a table = entity
- column of a table = attribute(s) of an entity
- entity set = the entire table
- entity type = name of the table

For examples on a UOD schema you can refer them to references or value types.
Student(.name)
Student(.id)
But then age would be:
Age(.DOB) making it an entity type due to it being lexical / transferable into a relational table schema if you use the normalisation process.
