I own a gen 2 wigo g 2017 model, kung tipid overall talaga. The best si wigo, from change oil to consumption. Di ka mamomroblema. Love to see this new wigo variant!
i still don't understand why Toyota ditches the high mount 3rd brake light on some of their passenger vehicles such as the Avanza J, and the Wigo J and E. they don't realize how important it is. anyway, thanks Kyle sa very informative na walk around! looking forward sa review mo soon!
The disrespect on the manual variant is insane. All my excitement vanished in an instant. Will probably stick to my Wigo G than to upgrade to this one.
It is crystal clear that the J trim is a decoy product, buyers choose to pay a bit more for either mid trim or TOTL. Since J trim is not worth it. J trim generally for driving school use, for grab driver or for those still loving three pedals 😁
Exterior and Interior definitely looks better, and also little price increase lang, ang mahal na ng mga auto ngayon, but if you are considering wigo, definitely go for the G variant
@@KyleLiongCars wcyd, parang gusto ko nga bumili na ng bago and replace my 2021 wigo, baka di ko na maafford ang bagong sasakyan after 5 years haha (looking at gs4 or the new city)
@@KyleLiongCars well its just a cost-cutting way for car manufacturers sir Kyle, its just that I don't trust belt technology, gears will last longer. But thanks for this review sir!
Taking price into consideration changes my opinion (upside-down). Before knowing the price I was like, "This car is a pathetic joke that deserves to be stomped. The (LACK OF) specifications are 1020's level, especially with the 66 BHP". But after learning about the price I was like, "I think I should buy the basic, cheapest one for myself".
Honestly, this is a great update, I just don’t like the infotainment system, it has a thicc bezel. I hope that even for the top spec, they opted for a better screen for infotainment Thanks so much for sharing this with us!
Man, you did a spectacular job on this. Among all the vids I've seen, only YOU had the guts to do fairly decent criticisms for the E and J models and I very much applaud your honesty with this quick tour. And yeah couldn't agree more with the two lower variants, quite a disaster if you ask me especially for the J that lacks both a rear wiper AND a rear defogger. The side mirrors and the J's fixed steering column are even worse for the price this asks. Not really as enticing as most people expected tbh, still a good car nonetheless and a cash cow given the badge it wears but definitely not to people like us who knows which is more worth the buck.
@@KyleLiongCars I don't mind rear wipers too or the lack thereof, but I will should there be no rear defoggers which is the case of this Wigo. This is coming from someone who drives SUVs and knows the feeling of not being able to see what's behind 😆
@@KyleLiongCars I use it a lot lately, given the weather and the vehicle I use more often has a broken rear wiper motor. So yeah, big turnoff for me at least when a vehicle doesn't have any of the two 😆
I had a Wigo G manual for nearly 5 years. For me its stands out against the competition because of its singular characteristics. In today's world where parking slots are becoming a rarity, small and even odd shaped areas of the parking lot automatically will have your name written all over it. Yet even with its diminutive size, it is cavernous as it is fuel efficient and its 1.0 engine is just right for us 3 in the family. Now with a larger body and the same engine, I don't know, that might be pushing the boundaries of performance and fuel efficiency really close or even past the ideal.
It’s not that much bigger compared to before. Parking should still be easy. The new CVT should be more fuel efficient that the old 4 speed A/T, so that could hopefully offset the difference in fuel economy due to weight increase.
Ganda ng interior boss pero sa exterior mas cool pa din yung mga previous wigo like 2021-2023 model hehe. yung exterior design ngayon parang pagkain na nakakaumay lol
Soluto is waaaaayyyy better. Tho different vehicles but yeah if you need something more useable, the Kia is perfect. If you are considering a hatch tho, look at the S-presso too especially if you're looking for a manual.

I like the Celerio and Picanto better. Though knowing Toyota and Honda, they blend well on the streets as they age.

I would really appreciate if they retain the traditional AT, its more reliable than CVT.
Yes, but the CVT would be more efficient, and more modern feeling

Hello po, would like to ask if yung seats po nung G variant ay may seat height adjustment. Thank you.
meron
Yes
Thank you
Sadly, walang GR-S variant na Nilabas. Pang compete sana sa top of the line ni Brio :/
Bummer din na parang mas ma porma yung rims nung previous gen
May available kits! May nakadisplay na grey unit with kits. Di ko lang nasama sa video
The GR-S version will not enter the Philippines because it is specifically for Indonesia only
Honda also didn't give the urbanite option for the Brio. Underwhelming, to say the least.
I think if Toyota adds a two-tone color option for the G variant, it'll look nicer, anwyay. Solid video once again Kyle 👍
Thanks
@@KyleLiongCarsPlease do Test Drive this Wigo G. Thanx.
So.. as always.. the manual variant comes with the least options and the most disrespect from the car makers.
I mean... they are usually seen as the more affordable option (which they are)

Toyota should bring the Wigo GR-S variant.
They might. There are kits available though as of now

If they plan to still equip it with the anemic 1.0 engine and strip it bare, better for them to ditch the idea of bring it in.
