The Pocket Mortar NC Engineer Primary: Warden with UBGL Secondary: Shotgun of your choice with flechette or pilot/commissioner if no ASP Spitfire turret + reserve hardlight barrier Grenade of your choice Implants: robotech 5 + catlike 5 Suit slot: Advanced Shield Capacitor With the change to the Warden UBGL you can shoot those nades as fast as you can reload them. Look for fights that are stalemates or situations where people are only able to peek, you can quickly tear the enemy apart. UBGL has huge alpha damage and that ASC is made for peek a boo fights. Utilize that extra jump height for obtaining odd angles and getting to high ground. If you find a good stalemate, place down the spitfire to cover your flank (works as an alarm), place down your barrier and start bombarding. Don't run around with UBGL out, only use it when you see a situation that benefits from it. Warden is decent at engaging from mid to long ranges, shotgun is excellent as a defensive back up weapon. If someone runs away behind a cover, don't be afraid to finish it off with an UBGL.
A single shot or burst shot carbine rocks with a scope. I have been playing light assualt more now. When in tree tops. When pushing. I tend to hang back and snipe away. When I am pushing, then I switch up to moderate to close quarters. I think he used the wrong carbine. The AX-11 is designed for close to moderate range heavy hitting. I know 'exactly' why he chose it. When moving in close and firing from the hip. Great choice. he could have arguably gotten the same results with a Razor. Slap a lasor site on it.

The Phoenix NSO Engineer or Heavy Assault (please read the backstory for better understanding) Alien technology has given the chance to auraxians to hope for a better life... every time they are revived and brutally sent back to battle. But there is one man out there that has embraced the never-ending cycle of life and death to fulfil is childhood dream. While others crave for a peaceful world where they could spend time with their loved ones, reading poetry while watching at a beautiful sunset on an Oshur beach; this man just wants to see the world burn over and over again. For this poor soul, the bigger the blast, the bigger the fun. He was first recruited by cynical New Conglomerate VPs. But they quickly fired him when then saw their explosives and vehicles budgets melt just after two alerts. The subsequent market crash still plummets the stocks in the balance sheets of the NC corporations to this day. A Vanu Syndicate guru thought he could bring the light of wisdom to this wretched soul but only to give up due to a massive shortage of spandex, shredded to pieces, too small to be recycled, every time this man would attempt to "enlighten friends or foes", usually at the same time. His shenanigans became known even by the Emperor himself. Praising terror and fear as the greatest weapons on the battlefield, he renamed the man, The Phoenix, made him a Commissar, and once again sent him to war to prove the tactical superiority of the Terran Republic! But nothing went as planned! This lunatic used his new rank to steal a Bastion Fleet Carrier, not forgetting to place C4 on the bow of the ship and attempted to crash it on an Oshur Flotilla. This should have been his doom in a final boom. But Nanite Systems had been making way too much profit, thanks to this now unwanted arsonist. A powerful AI calculated that the total damage caused by this burning tornado had made him the "Client of year" for the greedy manufacturer. To be safe, this superior being thought wise to cut spending on synthetic tissue and biological parts. Since he was going to meet his demise every minute, it became cheaper to download what was left of him in a robotic brain, maybe the first time he ever had one in his scorched life. The algorithms restricted his access to pocket flashes because of their limited costs. Will this plan succeed? Could this ultimate damage multiplier increase nanite spending on Auraxis? Could production follow? Or will he cause a total depletion all resources and bring peace due to attrition? Are computers always, right? Today we will find out. Primary: Anything with and UBGL and / or explosive splash damage or Thumper / Stomper (if you choose Heavy) Secondary: Same as the above, anyway, he won't need guns, he doesn't know what to do with them Launcher: NS Decimator because he likes the name and shooting flesh at point blank or NS Scorpion because it rains fire while waiting for nanites (he likes fireworks, obviously) Turret: AV Turret but he doesn't have time for that Grenade: Frag or Sticky nade so he can stick it to himself and run after people or stick it to them and chase them yelling "He has a bomb, he has a bomb!" (Remember that he feeds on panic and flames, in case you forgot at this point) And the most important: C4 because it is a hard drug, his bridge to nirvana. Use the flash, Javelin or pocket flash for "C4 transportation", preferably attached on the sides near the kneecaps. The more flesh and steel gathered, the better; inside, outside, who cares when only ashes remain. Implants: Athlete (because when it comes to sharing, he has a very big heart) and Jockey (because he is mad) Suit slot: Demolition pouch (because more is better) or Flak damage (because Nanite Systems vainly hopes he might survive the blast... those fools!) Also, if you want to push it further, the Time Bomb MAX is allowed as long as it increases the death toll. Nanite boosts are advised for quality footage and wholesome entertainment. Loadout: Cease fire, I'm NC! Class: Medic Faction: "It's complicated." Primary: Corvus, SABR, AR-N203, or UBR-150. Laser sight or foregrip, ammo choice at your discretion, 2x optics. Short Barrel, then switch to Flash hider when your shoulder gets too sore. Secondary: NS-45. Extended mag, flash hider, 1x sight. Swap this for an NS-66 with the cure grenade launcher if available. Tool: Standard. Ability: shield recharging field. Consumable: Regen kits or C4 Grenade: Revive grenades, with grenade belt in the suit slot. Implants: Mending Field, Counter Intelligence or Assassin Enter our protagonist, an NC medic who picked up the wrong hamper on his way out of the Sanctuary laundromat. Clueless to his mistake, he suits up early in the morning, grabs his trusty gauss rifle, loads fifteen rounds into his NC4 mag-shot, and deploys! Then he realizes his shield recharger isn't blue. He's not wearing blue. He's being shot at by people wearing blue, but that's normal. Both of his guns are acting strangely. In any case, there are a lot of skull icons on his HUD and he finds himself reflexively tossing revive grenades at clusters of them. The only rifle available to the NC with the classic 167-143 damage model is the Sea Lion after some recent nerfs. Other factions' medics still have a weapon or two with this damage model, so let's toy around with a "guardian angel" medic loadout in that damage bracket and compare the factions' offerings. Stay behind the heavies and MAXes but don't be too afraid to kick in a door or two if you've got the support or you're out of revive grenades and need to get a fresh supply of them by respawning.

Try to keep moving as fortifies glow will light you up if your cloaked and still for 0.1s. Not that you'll have time to move with the uptime you get from nano-armour cloaking. This man choose all the abilities that sounded fun, forgetting what his ultimate goal, or even class, was every step of the way.

The loadout works quite nicely in mid range engagements, the Jackhammer is a good deterent for anyone who thinks being invisible is enough protection, and shines in QCQ engagements.

Get in, kill them all, then make it hell for them to do the same Faction: your choice but NS was what I was using Class: engineer Primary: CqC carbine, faster TTK the better (newton or CB-X75 for NS). Soft point and a laser sight for running and gunning Secondary: you didn't think I was gonna give you a normal one did you? Nah you are gonna need an ASP point here. Barron or Viscount with comfort grip, other attachments are up to you Knife: any engi needs some AV, so pack it here. If you have one grab an AV knife so you can tear down their Sandcastles before building yours on the foundation Turret: AI turret. We are fortifying these buildings and that means you need some extra killing potential, especially since you don't have the most ammo available out of your primary or secondary. Suit: grenade bandolier this is there to help you breach points because a bunch of frag grenades rolled in at opportune angles usually leaves the enemy trying to figure out what happens to all of their buddies who are now on the floor. Grenade slot: obviously we're packing the frag grenades. You can try to use a crowd control grenade but I found the best use was just from the traditional frag. Utility slot: here we are packing our first fortification the hard light barrier. Place this in doorways and another entry points to make it just that much more difficult to get into the building. Tactical slot: grab them caltrops they work just as well as a hard light barrier. When you place them correctly, use them to make it more annoying to get into doorways. Implants: you got to be running robotech and jockey. This will make sure that you are safe for many pesky snipers trying to plink you off of your turret and helps keep your fortifications nice and healthy, even with them taking some AV fire. Anything not listed is generally up to your choice but remember the goal breach and fortify

You were assigned to go out and interview soldiers, as well as, take footage of actual combat. To do this, you bring your professional video camera (AV Turret), and your trusty heavy duty tape recorder (NS-7/MKV) with a small, mounted camera. While your were not allowed to bring a gun, you were allowed pepper spray (NS Firebug) for self defense. Don't forget to bring your spy cameras (Nano-repair Grenade), as well as, your wireless microphones (Hunter QCX with Detect Bolts) that you can attach anywhere for the sweet, sweet dramatic vehicle footage and added battlefield sound effects. For your own protection, you have the option to wear body armor. But you may instead want to bring extra tape (Ammo belt) for that recorder, or maybe more cameras (grenade bandolier) for you to use. If you're on medication, don't forget to bring those as well.

Giving ammo while blowing off heads... repairing while blasting C4 fairies out of the sky, and sniping ESF's out of the sky with a single shot, doing all this while having little down time due to his ability to bring his shield up faster than a TR heavy gets erect from seeing his frist mini chain gun.

I have a suggestion: 'The Fashion Victim'. Some flexibility in adapting this loadout, it's more about fitting the theme - looking cool (or perhaps hot), quite possibly to the benefit of the enemy seeing you coming. Any faction. Equip on a Heavy. Armour yourself in the brightest armour and skin you have, and throw on the decals and other bling. Primary weapon: The Helios, because who doesn't want to look cool throwing a stream of fire. Secondary: The empire auraxium sidearm or something that can throw out a lot of bullets in a short time, even if it's not the most effective, but either can be skinned a fair amount in your (bright) colours or is one of the heatwave weapons. Launcher: Heatwave or Empire default. Knife: Either the faction-specific specialist one, or a bright blade. Good luck getting close enough to use it. Ability: Nanomesh shield. Be sure to activate it unnecessarily when you have a chance to look cool. Suit slot: Grenade bandolier. Grenade: Havoc grenades - it's all about the flashiness. Utility: C4. Bonus if it's the auraxium version with the extra pizazz. Implants: Ammo Printer, because for some reason those engineers seem not to want hang around with you, and Heavyweight or Battle Hardened.
The INVISIBLE ZOOMER Light Assault Class Primary: Bruiser (whatever attachments you want) Secondary: Blitz (or Emissary) with whatever attachments Rocket Rifle Ability Slot: Ambusher Jump Jets Suit Slot: Grenade Bandolier Grenade: Smoke Grenade Utility: Restoration Kits Knife: Carver Implants: Carapace and Infravision The point of this Loadout is to be the effective portal to the afterlife. After this poor NC soldier kept dying they underwent an anime training montage and became what he is today. Barge into a choke point or contested room and kill all there is. Give yourself a restoration kit and throw in a smoke grenade for "invisibility" and ZOOM in quickly with the ambusher jets and fire off the shotgun for some cheeky kills or use your high capacity SMG or Emissary to rack up a lot of kills before anyone can really react to the absolute chaos you unfold. The Carver is there for the juicy one shot knife kills. This is an expensive loadout but it is well worth it. Keep it spicy!!
my build : the demoman. (any faction) so you need an heavy assault with the thumper (you can use the ASP perk to have it in the secondary slot) all ammunition are good to use IEM, incendiary and normal. for the self defense weapon if you use the ASP perk nothing larger than an SMG. if not. any pistol you want. for suit slot : grenade bandolier and for the grenades the good old frags for utility slot : C4. tactical slot : cortium bomb. with that your rocket launcher will be the scopion. like the thumper any ammunation you want. for the heavy assault shield : the one you want. and for the implants : ammo printer and..... i dunno... the one you want. this loadout is made to BLOW UP infantry BUT you can switch to anti vehicle. just take the stomper the one you buy to the black market and in stead of frags take anti vehicle grenades. ;) and for the lore. well not much : a soldier expert in explosives form to destroy important objectives , suppress enemy infantry , long range fight with light artillery , ect, ect.... anyway the thumper is his best friend for direct damage but when the enemy is behind a wall no problem his good old frags will do the job , for a big open base or battlefield the scorpion will make hell rain down on them.... C4 is his problem solver for everything MAX, vehicles, big group of infantry... and the cortium bomb is his "big clutch problem solver" planting this in a room where the enemy is about to enter or push. and of course very convenient for a deployed sundy. so yeah this soldier love explosives because yes shoting bullets is efficient BUT from the smaller one to the biggest one. the explosives are one of THE greatest military invention and this soldier understood it well.

Ability: Ambusher Jumpjets Suit: Adrenaline Pump Grenade: Feel free to choose. i usually run frag. Utility: Medik kits. Knife: Amaterasu Implants: Paratrooper(MAX LVL), Athlete. Tactical: Free to choose. ----- Tips to play this build: 1. "Superjumps". as you activate ambushers, use your punisher underbarrel right as you leave the ground to fling yourself further and higher. 2. Ambushers allow you to also boosh backwards if you hold S while activating. :) 3. you can also boosh straight up by booshing while standing still. 4. The punisher is your primary and acts like a bootleg carbine with the HVA. Use it at CQC to close midrange distance for maximum effect. 5. The shotgun is your secondary. Move through, and use it as a peaking weapon in cqb to excell. 6. Adrenaline pump and Athlete make you move very quickly on foot. This allows you to move cover and get angles quicker and catch people offguard. Very Gaming. 7. Quickscope with the shotgun. click aim, shoot, un-aim. Cone of fire will be very tight making it a good bonk. ---- Enjoy :)
The Mobile Swarm Class: *Heavy* launcher: *Swarm* suit: Flak, nanoweave primary: Stomper, Scout Rifle with UBGL, MCG, LMG, anything secondary: explosive crossbow grenade: AV implant:Jockey, Regen, etc. utility: med, restore, aux shield tactical: caltrops, or pocket flash for emergency transport and running away Vehicles: *Flash* : radar composite scrapper, faction specific weapon (I prefer pillager for infantry and vehicle) or fury, Alternative: turbo stealth speed Flash is 50 nanites so cheap and easy constant pulls no real loss if you die, disposable and also lower profile imo. I prefer radar. *Javelin* : speed, stealth, weapon of your preference Javelin is a little more expensive at 100 nanites and I find easier to get destroyed than flash. Swap to seat 2 and use swarm, rebind keys for ease of access if needed. Swarm to provide AA and to tell air to fk off from the area most of the time. Only use swarm at distance with covers against armors. Annihilator is ok but too slow and visible and not as satisfying as swarm rockets.
Feelin' Lucky Punk NC Engineer Primary: MGR-M1 Bishop w/ 3.4x scope Secondary: Your choice w/ flashlight Sticky or Tank Grenade Utility: MANA AV Turret Suit: Demo pouch w/ C-4 Implants: Regeneration + Athletics Tactical: Mini Flash This is a solo engineer build I've been using, who doesn't care whether the enemy is infantry, vehicle, turret, construction, or air, he's taking it out. Keeping distance and using cover are key, supplying oneself with ammo and relying on quickness & regeneration. The Bishop has flat damage to any distance, and if vehicles or turrets are spotted, the AV Turret hits harder than a rocket launcher, and C-4 hits harder still. Let freedom ring, punks! I haven't reached ASP yet, but I'd like to try this with either the MGR-A1 Vanquisher AR, a shotgun secondary for CQC, or a tank grenade, perhaps with grenade bandolier.
Lol and this is why having the damage drop off on carbines is annoying the heavy crossbow pre nerf was amazing for this reason didn’t even use the explosive bolts too much.! I still want the devs to make carbines damage drop to match that of lmgs given how op heavies are allowed to be. Or just let LA’s asp into AR’s hell it’s what I’d be using on la’s given the chance

With the change to the Warden UBGL you can shoot those nades as fast as you can reload them.
Look for fights that are stalemates or situations where people are only able to peek, you can quickly tear the enemy apart.
UBGL has huge alpha damage and that ASC is made for peek a boo fights. Utilize that extra jump height for obtaining odd angles and getting to high ground.
If you find a good stalemate, place down the spitfire to cover your flank (works as an alarm), place down your barrier and start bombarding.
Don't run around with UBGL out, only use it when you see a situation that benefits from it. Warden is decent at engaging from mid to long ranges, shotgun is excellent as a defensive back up weapon.
If someone runs away behind a cover, don't be afraid to finish it off with an UBGL.

I have been playing light assualt more now. When in tree tops. When pushing. I tend to hang back and snipe away.
When I am pushing, then I switch up to moderate to close quarters.
I think he used the wrong carbine. The AX-11 is designed for close to moderate range heavy hitting. I know 'exactly' why he chose it. When moving in close and firing from the hip. Great choice. he could have arguably gotten the same results with a Razor. Slap a lasor site on it.

But there is one man out there that has embraced the never-ending cycle of life and death to fulfil is childhood dream.
While others crave for a peaceful world where they could spend time with their loved ones, reading poetry while watching at a beautiful sunset on an Oshur beach; this man just wants to see the world burn over and over again.
For this poor soul, the bigger the blast, the bigger the fun.
He was first recruited by cynical New Conglomerate VPs. But they quickly fired him when then saw their explosives and vehicles budgets melt just after two alerts. The subsequent market crash still plummets the stocks in the balance sheets of the NC corporations to this day.
A Vanu Syndicate guru thought he could bring the light of wisdom to this wretched soul but only to give up due to a massive shortage of spandex, shredded to pieces, too small to be recycled, every time this man would attempt to "enlighten friends or foes", usually at the same time.
His shenanigans became known even by the Emperor himself. Praising terror and fear as the greatest weapons on the battlefield, he renamed the man, The Phoenix, made him a Commissar, and once again sent him to war to prove the tactical superiority of the Terran Republic! But nothing went as planned! This lunatic used his new rank to steal a Bastion Fleet Carrier, not forgetting to place C4 on the bow of the ship and attempted to crash it on an Oshur Flotilla.
This should have been his doom in a final boom. But Nanite Systems had been making way too much profit, thanks to this now unwanted arsonist. A powerful AI calculated that the total damage caused by this burning tornado had made him the "Client of year" for the greedy manufacturer. To be safe, this superior being thought wise to cut spending on synthetic tissue and biological parts. Since he was going to meet his demise every minute, it became cheaper to download what was left of him in a robotic brain, maybe the first time he ever had one in his scorched life. The algorithms restricted his access to pocket flashes because of their limited costs. Will this plan succeed?
Could this ultimate damage multiplier increase nanite spending on Auraxis? Could production follow? Or will he cause a total depletion all resources and bring peace due to attrition? Are computers always, right?
Today we will find out.
Primary: Anything with and UBGL and / or explosive splash damage or Thumper / Stomper (if you choose Heavy)
Secondary: Same as the above, anyway, he won't need guns, he doesn't know what to do with them
Launcher: NS Decimator because he likes the name and shooting flesh at point blank or NS Scorpion because it rains fire while waiting for nanites (he likes fireworks, obviously)
Turret: AV Turret but he doesn't have time for that
Grenade: Frag or Sticky nade so he can stick it to himself and run after people or stick it to them and chase them yelling "He has a bomb, he has a bomb!" (Remember that he feeds on panic and flames, in case you forgot at this point)
And the most important: C4 because it is a hard drug, his bridge to nirvana. Use the flash, Javelin or pocket flash for "C4 transportation", preferably attached on the sides near the kneecaps. The more flesh and steel gathered, the better; inside, outside, who cares when only ashes remain.
Implants: Athlete (because when it comes to sharing, he has a very big heart) and Jockey (because he is mad)
Suit slot: Demolition pouch (because more is better) or Flak damage (because Nanite Systems vainly hopes he might survive the blast... those fools!)
Also, if you want to push it further, the Time Bomb MAX is allowed as long as it increases the death toll.

Enter our protagonist, an NC medic who picked up the wrong hamper on his way out of the Sanctuary laundromat. Clueless to his mistake, he suits up early in the morning, grabs his trusty gauss rifle, loads fifteen rounds into his NC4 mag-shot, and deploys!
Then he realizes his shield recharger isn't blue. He's not wearing blue. He's being shot at by people wearing blue, but that's normal. Both of his guns are acting strangely. In any case, there are a lot of skull icons on his HUD and he finds himself reflexively tossing revive grenades at clusters of them.
The only rifle available to the NC with the classic 167-143 damage model is the Sea Lion after some recent nerfs. Other factions' medics still have a weapon or two with this damage model, so let's toy around with a "guardian angel" medic loadout in that damage bracket and compare the factions' offerings. Stay behind the heavies and MAXes but don't be too afraid to kick in a door or two if you've got the support or you're out of revive grenades and need to get a fresh supply of them by respawning.

After getting Fed up from getting Constantly killed by Cheeky Infil some NC Heavy said to himself that this has to end and took Matters in his own Hands.

The loadout works quite nicely in mid range engagements, the Jackhammer is a good deterent for anyone who thinks being invisible is enough protection, and shines in QCQ engagements.

Secondary: you didn't think I was gonna give you a normal one did you? Nah you are gonna need an ASP point here. Barron or Viscount with comfort grip, other attachments are up to you
Knife: any engi needs some AV, so pack it here. If you have one grab an AV knife so you can tear down their Sandcastles before building yours on the foundation
Turret: AI turret. We are fortifying these buildings and that means you need some extra killing potential, especially since you don't have the most ammo available out of your primary or secondary.
Suit: grenade bandolier this is there to help you breach points because a bunch of frag grenades rolled in at opportune angles usually leaves the enemy trying to figure out what happens to all of their buddies who are now on the floor.
Grenade slot: obviously we're packing the frag grenades. You can try to use a crowd control grenade but I found the best use was just from the traditional frag.
Utility slot: here we are packing our first fortification the hard light barrier. Place this in doorways and another entry points to make it just that much more difficult to get into the building.
Tactical slot: grab them caltrops they work just as well as a hard light barrier. When you place them correctly, use them to make it more annoying to get into doorways.
Implants: you got to be running robotech and jockey. This will make sure that you are safe for many pesky snipers trying to plink you off of your turret and helps keep your fortifications nice and healthy, even with them taking some AV fire.
Anything not listed is generally up to your choice but remember the goal breach and fortify
the build creator picked a weird choice for the "sniper" it should be the heavy crossbow!

While your were not allowed to bring a gun, you were allowed pepper spray (NS Firebug) for self defense. Don't forget to bring your spy cameras (Nano-repair Grenade), as well as, your wireless microphones (Hunter QCX with Detect Bolts) that you can attach anywhere for the sweet, sweet dramatic vehicle footage and added battlefield sound effects.
For your own protection, you have the option to wear body armor. But you may instead want to bring extra tape (Ammo belt) for that recorder, or maybe more cameras (grenade bandolier) for you to use. If you're on medication, don't forget to bring those as well.

this is the engineer that refuses to be a heavy assult sweat lord, and instead decided to become the sweatiest suport on the battle field. I have a suggestion: 'The Fashion Victim'. Some flexibility in adapting this loadout, it's more about fitting the theme - looking cool (or perhaps hot), quite possibly to the benefit of the enemy seeing you coming.

Armour yourself in the brightest armour and skin you have, and throw on the decals and other bling.
Primary weapon: The Helios, because who doesn't want to look cool throwing a stream of fire.
Secondary: The empire auraxium sidearm or something that can throw out a lot of bullets in a short time, even if it's not the most effective, but either can be skinned a fair amount in your (bright) colours or is one of the heatwave weapons.
Launcher: Heatwave or Empire default.
Knife: Either the faction-specific specialist one, or a bright blade. Good luck getting close enough to use it.
Ability: Nanomesh shield. Be sure to activate it unnecessarily when you have a chance to look cool.
Suit slot: Grenade bandolier. Grenade: Havoc grenades - it's all about the flashiness.
Utility: C4. Bonus if it's the auraxium version with the extra pizazz.
Implants: Ammo Printer, because for some reason those engineers seem not to want hang around with you, and Heavyweight or Battle Hardened.

The point of this Loadout is to be the effective portal to the afterlife. After this poor NC soldier kept dying they underwent an anime training montage and became what he is today.
Barge into a choke point or contested room and kill all there is. Give yourself a restoration kit and throw in a smoke grenade for "invisibility" and ZOOM in quickly with the ambusher jets and fire off the shotgun for some cheeky kills or use your high capacity SMG or Emissary to rack up a lot of kills before anyone can really react to the absolute chaos you unfold. The Carver is there for the juicy one shot knife kills. This is an expensive loadout but it is well worth it.

my build : the demoman. (any faction)
so you need an heavy assault with the thumper (you can use the ASP perk to have it in the secondary slot) all ammunition are good to use IEM, incendiary and normal. for the self defense weapon if you use the ASP perk nothing larger than an SMG. if not. any pistol you want.
for suit slot : grenade bandolier and for the grenades the good old frags
for utility slot : C4.
tactical slot : cortium bomb.
with that your rocket launcher will be the scopion. like the thumper any ammunation you want.
for the heavy assault shield : the one you want.
and for the implants : ammo printer and..... i dunno... the one you want.
this loadout is made to BLOW UP infantry BUT you can switch to anti vehicle. just take the stomper the one you buy to the black market and in stead of frags take anti vehicle grenades. ;)
and for the lore. well not much :
a soldier expert in explosives form to destroy important objectives , suppress enemy infantry , long range fight with light artillery , ect, ect....
anyway the thumper is his best friend for direct damage but when the enemy is behind a wall no problem his good old frags will do the job , for a big open base or battlefield the scorpion will make hell rain down on them.... C4 is his problem solver for everything MAX, vehicles, big group of infantry... and the cortium bomb is his "big clutch problem solver" planting this in a room where the enemy is about to enter or push. and of course very convenient for a deployed sundy.
so yeah this soldier love explosives because yes shoting bullets is efficient BUT from the smaller one to the biggest one. the explosives are one of THE greatest military invention and this soldier understood it well.

Tips to play this build:
1. "Superjumps". as you activate ambushers, use your punisher underbarrel right as you leave the ground to fling yourself further and higher.

4. The punisher is your primary and acts like a bootleg carbine with the HVA. Use it at CQC to close midrange distance for maximum effect.
5. The shotgun is your secondary. Move through, and use it as a peaking weapon in cqb to excell.
6. Adrenaline pump and Athlete make you move very quickly on foot. This allows you to move cover and get angles quicker and catch people offguard. Very Gaming.
7. Quickscope with the shotgun. click aim, shoot, un-aim. Cone of fire will be very tight making it a good bonk.

Flash is 50 nanites so cheap and easy constant pulls no real loss if you die, disposable and also lower profile imo. I prefer radar.
*Javelin* : speed, stealth, weapon of your preference
Javelin is a little more expensive at 100 nanites and I find easier to get destroyed than flash.
Swap to seat 2 and use swarm, rebind keys for ease of access if needed. Swarm to provide AA and to tell air to fk off from the area most of the time. Only use swarm at distance with covers against armors. Annihilator is ok but too slow and visible and not as satisfying as swarm rockets.

This is a solo engineer build I've been using, who doesn't care whether the enemy is infantry, vehicle, turret, construction, or air, he's taking it out. Keeping distance and using cover are key, supplying oneself with ammo and relying on quickness & regeneration.
The Bishop has flat damage to any distance, and if vehicles or turrets are spotted, the AV Turret hits harder than a rocket launcher, and C-4 hits harder still. Let freedom ring, punks!
I haven't reached ASP yet, but I'd like to try this with either the MGR-A1 Vanquisher AR, a shotgun secondary for CQC, or a tank grenade, perhaps with grenade bandolier.

Lol and this is why having the damage drop off on carbines is annoying the heavy crossbow pre nerf was amazing for this reason didn’t even use the explosive bolts too much.! I still want the devs to make carbines damage drop to match that of lmgs given how op heavies are allowed to be. Or just let LA’s asp into AR’s hell it’s what I’d be using on la’s given the chance
