@@jeanettewittstein7656 Loosely based. It still qualifies as having vague and mysterious lyrics, I mean some of it has religious connotations, and mentions classic rock and roll themes. Clearly not simply about that 😅

This is Roky's "Vietnam" song though it touches upon other things, chief among them being Roky's vision of the future, namely NOW (It seems). But it is true that in any time you can believe that it is the time of Roky's prophesy. He references the Soviet experiments, but the song is not about that. And he never once says "I've been working in The Kremlin". He says, "I'd BE working in the Kremlin ...". People tend to hear that wrong. Listen again. I happened to be with him when he wrote this song (and others). Thank You.

Roky shredding reality to accommodate his awesomely splintered mind. Any veteren of of the elevators history through the masterpiece 'Eyemind' will know the wicked musical lengths Roky went to; employing elaborate distortion as a radical form of shamanic sensory auto-regulation. Roky called it picture music. 13th Floor Elevators are arguably the or one of the first bands that could be categorized as psychedelic. It can be argued that psychedelic music came from Texas.

As much as I LOVE Roky & I have for a long time,I HATE to see his music posted where ppl can steal it.He's been thru hell & back with his incredible music & his life,so you ppl that love him too had better buy it this time.I'm sick & tired of watching this genius get ripped off! You pay for SHIT like madonna & milli vanilli yet you cant support Rocky?? Support him already!!! I Love you Rocky & thanks for every note you've ever played for us! You ARE THE BEST & YOU DESERVE TO BE PAID!!!!xoxoxo
