Have the 4th dimension servo mount and it's giving me trouble. There's some play between the tube and the sleeve thus the whole mount moves up and down slightly.
Mine did not have that problem. but if it did. I would drill a small hole through it and the axle tube and put in a short screw to hold it in place. Or if you don't want to drill a hole you could try putting some strips of hot glue on the axle to build it up some. not sure how long that would last. Just a few thoughts
Hi George. I'm the owner of 4th Dimension RC. Hit me up if you're having issues. There is some variation in the diameter of the tube, which I can't really account for in the design. One thing you can do is wrap the axle with electrical tape to add some material or follow No Control RC's advice!
I actually removed the bolt completely and the plastic itself still hits. It looks to me like I have my angle similar to yours, but mine didn’t have instructions. I’ll have to mess with it or go back to stock.
@Jay Con if you shave some off the end that interlocks with the axle housing, can you gain enough clearance? If so drill a hole through the mount into axle and put a screw in to hold in place
Such a cool truck! Definitely interested in how this thing holds up over a few more sessions 🤘🏼
Parts on the way so we can do a shootout between it and a losi king sling
Just ordered mine. Can’t wait to go run the USA-1 again
Wow what a difference. These are normally like tge clodbuster where they have to be moving to turn..
I suggest shoe goo or e6000 and drywall tape or gorilla tape on the body also. They are thin and weak. Subscribed
Shoe goo and drywall tape a winning combo for any rc body.
Bekommt man die Benötigten Teile auch in DE ??
Will this work on the older models without the 5 link set up?
No, but there is a setup for those to move the servo onto the suspension arm. Believe it from hot racing
@@nocontrolrc8290 yeah I tried that amd it bent with ease , not worth its weight

can this be done to the rear axle for independent 4 wheel steering also.
Yes set up just like the front
Axle mounted servos on MT's should be standard.
Agreed
Mine hits the chassis…
Badly, or could it be trimed down. Mine was close on the corner but did not hit.
@@nocontrolrc8290 it’s the bolt itself that hits. Did you have the locknuts on the top or bottom?
@Jay Con I put nuts on the bottom side.
