you're SO RIGHT about needing intermediate books, I feel that's where I'm at and it's very overwhelming to look at these really complex books and concepts. Not talked about enough!
I don't do demonology but I appreciated the online posted rituals by VK Jehannum and his written work with Ea Koetting. Swap out the spirits, change the astral language and it provides a good insight on new rituals and practices for any path.

Somewhere in the Abramelin section of Llewellyn’s Complete Book of Ceremonial Magick, it says that in order to start doing the ritual, one must have this feeling of having completed it in the future, for once it is complete, it causes a ripple in time. I see similar gods not as the same beings but reflecting the same principles. Like a Senator for New York is similar to a Senator for New Jersey. They relate to the same body, the Senate, but they're different.
I agree with everything actually lol.
My hot take not everyone is working with the true deities they claim and some are working with tricker spirits but some are fallen parasitic versions of that deity (like in marvels Loki fallen variants of the deity in the multiverse)
If a deity truly is working with you they will give you strong undeniable confirmation it is them and I would encourage to question and test them to know the difference to form a true relationship with a deity.

The best opinion I found was to understand the system you practice in terms of world view beliefs and meaning. That needs covering I feel.
For example Thelema has a strong pre-supposition saying Existence is Pure Joy! That at least supposes one capable of Joy.

I agree with your take on fate. To me free will is only wiggle room within the web of Maat, the elder stories tell us her patterns were the pre-existing set of forces into which the Natures blasted their energy to begin the cosmic dance. The more I meditate on my past, and the more clear my intellect gets from ongoing interactions with Lions Mane fungus I can see the pattern of an intelligence that can track a longer span of time than my daylight ego and intellect can fathom without opening to higher forces.
This is getting all the more clear as I dig into a sort of binge watching of your videos. I've already been in a revival phase for some years, got the Metatron Sandalphon edit to the LBRP on my own before I got the Damien Echols book that talks about it. Your stuff is so well informed that it's waking up my memory of what I went through in my time of being initiated through the OTO up to Knight Of The East and West and ordained Priest of EGC. I realize that my angel invocation succeeded during those years and was the intelligence that then led me to leave that set and setting to learn simple Earth magic with my rituals reduced to Tai Ji forms and reviving my song craft to be able to play whole songs again after years only being able to follow others and then getting so deep into computers I lost my real music skills temporarily.

Agreed on the nature of the gods and goddesses...psychology is wrong about the idea that it's all in the head what with the discoveries of things like the lack of evidence for that theory and abundant growing evidence that fields of energy are intelligent and conduct the show we experience as humans. The head isn't the only brain either, as the energy map of Chinese martial arts shows. Dan Tian means 'energy field' in its most literal translation and the gut and heart have wider ranging senses in the physical and quantum qualitative vibes detection than the head whose field only extends a couple of fingers width past the skull. Heart's field engulfs the whole body and belly brain is a deep sense of correct intuition obscured by too much monkey screeching from the wordsmith upstairs, trained to think itself King by the materialist delusions.

Thank you for this interesting video. I am a soft polytheist who works with different pantheons. I have done for a long time and i do not seen to have problems working this way. I always do research about deities and their cultures before i work with them.

I would simplify both paths as such.
Left hand path: Focused on the individual, dark aesthetics, being one’s own god. World embracing and solitary.
Right hand path: Focused on the community, selflessness, martyrdom, loving thy neighbor as oneself. Colorful aesthetics. World denying.
In my local group, there is a merge of both. There are bright color wearing LHP people working for the community and dark minded RHP people working alone. What is a word that merges both concepts?

The Current thinking on 3rd Level is more doing what the Ancestors did or books like New World Witchery and Of Blood and Bones, Chaotic Witch Aunt did a good Episode on that.

My biggest issue with Occult Publishing is that many of the works are treated with little reverence. They are printed on cheap acidic paper with flimsy cardstock covers and garish front illustrations. I would want my copy of the Lesser Key to last more than a few years before the ink bleeds through the cheap wood pulp paper and the pages begin to yellow and stain.

On a side note I was studying for a test figured I would buy the book. Wound up using my tablet because the paper is so thin I can see the words on the other side
A good intermediate practice might be the golden dawn material, pentagram and hexagram Rituals and practicing invoking planetary gods and angels in this very simplicive and direct way. As for the psychological paradigm, I love this duality. Honestly I feel like a little cognitive dissonance goes a long way, "I believe in the Gods as real beings while in ritual, prayer, and meditation, while at the same time am completely logical and slightly skeptical as to avoid irrational fanaticism, looking for the direct experience Gnosis, to confirm my beliefs(or discredit them), while at the same time acknowledging that it may all be in my head" Jesus says those with belief can move mountains. lol, that was long winded.
Cognitive dissonance is not a good thing in the long run.
Paradigm shifring in chaos magick is one thing, but refusing to examen one's own refusal to let go of the secular paradigm, when it clearely no longer surves it's purpose, is another.

This is a great video. I wish more people would make videos like this. I would disagree with one thing that you said about witchcraft. There is definitely witchcraft that involves spirits.
And, as far as Left-Hand Path apotheosis, I believe what they mean by the word is becoming a god yourself, not union with a god.
I definitely believe that there is a type of fate, but it can sometimes be altered. My Fates are the Norns, and they weave one's Wyrd based on one's actions. The Norn that represents the future actually represents "what should come" and is based on one's actions. If you consult the Norns and discover your fate on your current path is not what you want, you can possibly change what should come if you change your path. But, I do believe some things are destined to happen.

Soft and hard words are as problematic as low and high magick. :) Soft and low are words that convey being less than high or hard.
I think Crowley’s work and Golden Dawn stuff fit the ‘intermediate’ genre well. They can spark an interest in older source texts.
They can provide motivation to expand a particular understanding or particular practice, without which esoteric books can be a little too… esoteric. Like trying to study pure math before establishing an interest in the physics or engineering it’s used for.

My hot take is that you absolutely need every single ritual took and object. You must follow ritual instructions to the dot and only make substitutions if instructed that specific substitutions are acceptable.

The new paradigm metaphor is a larger consciousness / computer “like” reality (thought) generator that we are contained within and are a holographic image of. Gods, angels are information complexes in the larger mind “computer reality generator and after all our minds eye is the same thing on a smaller scale . No hot take here. I do feel that if someone doesn't at least dip their toes into different waters they'll really never know which body of water is right for them.
I like to refer to god/myth as 'archetypes' in art and poetry. What kinds of art and poetry have you seen that is too extreme or crosses some line with regard to occult pagan references? There are a lot in film and novels...
The issue with multi-pantheon worship stems from a specific sect of people that want national-paganism. I shall call it that because that is what they want, a peo0le to have a single pantheon without any additions from any other, and no use of any "tools"from.any other faith.
I worship Gods from different pantheons, and as far as I am concerned my ancestors adopted Gods from other pantheons and there is no issue with that.
Astrology is nothing but the Barum effect in action. If you create the mental causation for the belief in Astrology, then it manifests. As for something that measures 'cosmic cycles,' such is silly.
As for needing certain objects in your practice. It's not necessary, although various things affect how you project your will, so it helps. However it doesn't matter what you have on your altar because it is the intention to get to the answer which determines if it works or not.
The problem with the spiritual community is that people just make stuff up as they go, without caring if it's true or not.
Than how would you explain professional astrologers predicting major world events?
Do you think that's the doing of the collective belief in astrology of many humans?
Aaand did you try to test this hypothesis? I think it's possible to do so if you get a quality professional reading as a skeptic and see if it matches up.
