@@YourChicGeek So why does your pdf say 2 different ones to merge?? In the video you Share/downloaded all 110 pages all together, so i did the same. So my pdf Merge only shows 1 thing to merge. Did you break them up? Or save them them separately. One for 2022 and one for 2023. Im confused
@@angelamc3532 Hello there! Im not sure but maybe at the time of the recording Canva finally allowed more than 50 pages on documents. I could be wrong but maybe thats what happened. You can now do more than 100 pages in Canva. I hope that helps!

Hey Kim the reason I think you got the embedded font message was because i love pdf doesn't seem to embed fonts Most of time it's not a big deal on KDP as you know 99% of time they will just embed them

Thank you, the instructions were great!!!! I ran into the same problem with Canva, I had to separate the pages in half, but I was able to use the PDF merger and publish to KDP!! I'm glad to find your channel, I struggled with Canva, but your instructions were a breeze and easy to follow!

Hello there! You can either put your name or a Brand Name that youve made up there.
Make sure title on the book matches also. KDP is kinda meh when it comes to that.

This is GREAT! Question though - maybe something has changed with Amazon's upload since you created this video? Followed your directions and definitely selected "bleed" both in Canva AND Amazon (Bleed - pdf), but Amazon says my margins/settings are wrong. Followed all your steps exactly.

this tutorial is super-duper needed, thank you so much for going out on a limb and showing the details, I highly appreciate it. Oh, if I'd like my interiors to be colored will it still be considered "low-content"? and will I need to purchase an IASN to publish in colored?
Hey there Janeen! Yeppers all planners are still considered low content books on Amazon unless every page is different. You dont have to purchase an ISBN for your planner as Amazon will give you a free ASIN number to use that identifies your book on the platform. As far as color is concerned you can def print in standard color but just be sure to adjust your price for your royalties as color interiors will cost a little more for the printing. Best of luck!

Ok. Just to clarify. Maybe I am misunderstanding. You designed the planner and cover. Uploaded the images to Amazon. But, when customers order your Planner who binds/prints the actual planner?

What's the steps on how to upload a Calendar please. Cause a calendar is only 12 pages
Lol, 54, I'm like, am I missing something (and then you corrected it). I love Canva and this is great info. Can I clarify something, if I have say 200 pages and then get the template size with cover, spine, from bookow or kdp, do I need to add an additional 0.125 to the cover size to allow for bleed, or is this already included? Thanks. I might be making some niched planners shortly :)
Hello there! This is a great question. You only need to add the extra 0.125 to your interior pages if you are adding "Bleed" to them (meaning that you want some of your text/designs to run off of the page). If you have a 200 page planner, then your cover size may be bigger than the standard 12.52 X 9.25 cover for a regular 6X9 cover. I have a video that shows you how to find the correct dimensions for your book covers.

Yes! You are correct. You will have to combine elements to make sure you are in the clear.

Hello there! Nope...you should be able to change any font with templates in Canva (as far as I know)

You dont have to merge anymore. Canva allows up to like 200 pages or more now. :-)
I have a question pls. For the interior pages for books published by KDP, must all the text and designs be black and white? Can I make my interiors colorful with colorful texts and colorful elements?
Hey there. You can definitely use color on your interior. You just need to be aware that your printing costs will be more for your products. Best of luck.

Yes you can definitely use Canva for commercial use. The best thing to do is use free elements and combine them with graphics/elements from sites like Creative Fabrica. I just did a video about this 😎
Hi! May I ask why we have to copy the weekly planner page 54 times in Canva? Can't the buyer just print the one weekly page 54 times? Sorry I am very new so this might be a silly question. Thanks for your great videos!🌸
Hello there Jade! So since this is a two year planner we are copying the pages 54 times twice to give the buyer two years worth of weekly planning pages. Also..someone pointed out that there are only 52 weeks in a year (my math was not mathing)...so in actuality you will only need to add 52 weekly planning pages for 2022 and then 52 weekly planning pages for 2023. Hope this helps!

Thanks so much for this video! It looks great! One creator said you couldn't use Canva templates and fonts due to copyright purposes. Is that not true?
You can use Canva elements that are free if you are using the free version but make sure that you add other elements to your designs to make them unique.
Do you find you sell planner in the middle of the year or is this an item usually purchased in Dec/Jan?
Hey there! It does appear that my yearly planners do tend to sell at the end/beginning of the year. However, there are some planners that do sell year around as well.
What do you do when it won't allow you to duplicate over 100 pages, it says it is too big to save?
Hello. This sounds really weird to me. Not sure why Canva is not allowing you to go past 100 pages as they have increased the page limit for their designs. Have you reached out to their support team to ask?
@@YourChicGeek No not yet, it just says file size too large and can't be saved, also how do you do cover designs or find them the correct length and width? Some of these aren't popping up on the site, can you import from the site at the beginning.

Hey there! Sooo Canva has increased the page count for their designs to 200 I think.
Did they add a barcode for you?
Yes. Amazon adds an ASIN number that helps you identify your book on their site
What does “with bleed” mean?
Hey there! So with bleed means that your content (aka images) will flow off of the page. Hope this helps!
