dear i think best approach is to put extensive logic in a separate file that lies in between models and views.
Please make some projects video using DRF
not agreed with the third point...if you do this it will create mess in the database table and will be complicated for other developers at the time of the handover phase

People keep on talking about virtual environment but here I am working on my project without even knowing what that is. Can you pls explain in one or two lines...
It is just simple when you want to change your code environment like if you are running an application on python 3.6 and want to migrate your project in a new python env and also able to easily handle requirements installed in old vs new environments.

no problem ,you can take list of the packages you have installed right now and create a fresh environment and install those packages in the virtual environment and run your project , it will just be fine.
