This is the worst company . I worked here for 2 months and it was horrific. Ghost manager was on coke Kids buying clearance items and fraud pro accts, than selling in store to someone for 800% profit. I seen a kid buy a ps5 on employee week for 260 and wait til next week to trade it in for 375, I've seen people sell used games as new games . I've seen people working their buy items before they released, just so they can buy themself and sell on eBay . I've seen, people label a trade in defective , than once the customer didn't want the low offer, would offer them cash themself I don't shop here anymore
Wow that’s a lot for one store. Sad to see the company has all that going on. I don’t blame you for going to other stores. We have so many options now to buy everything we need thankfully.
I just called gamestops customer service because I bought Pokémon cards and didn’t get any points and they told me that free memberships don’t receive points anymore 🙃
Player members don't earn points but they added the part about them expiring after 6 months of inactivity rather than the 1 year pro members get because if you had your membership end but gained a bunch of points while you did have the pro membership, I think the points will stick around until they expire... So reducing their expiration to 6 months is a way to make the points disappear faster for the people who haven't been giving them money.
@@BryanTechCorner apparently now if you trade games for cash they can put your points in a negative. They never did this before til now,I've been a pro member since 2017 and this year I been on a trading for cash spree and they put my points at a -1,778

I just lost 280k points last month (october) even though I've made purchases in February. Never going through gamestop anymore... they lost a customer. Lol. And to think I was going to renew my pro membership.
@@BryanTechCorner That's what I was thinking as well. I just left gamestop about 2 hours ago, and almost 300k is a lot. I've been someone supporting their business for the last few years. I had an ex who was manager , eventually quit. But I heard a few conference calls not gonna lie about it- and the evolution of the company is screwing over customers and being cheap in any way possible. After this experience I'm definitely not shopping from them anymore- they're overpriced and sell products that are just not worth it. Bitter sweet. I can go on about the changes in even just the last 2 years but I won't. Anyone that comes across this video and my comment , take the warning and shop elsewhere. You won't regret it. Warranties - pro memberships - clearance on crap - "deals" - online priority even if you're physically first in line... list goes on. Thanks for the video I appreciate the awareness you're spreading

How do u get notifications for ps5 bundles for gamestop when they come out does the app send u a nonfiction or Gmail
I always get emails of bundles that are coming to stores. When I get the email I check the list to see if any of the stores in my area have them.
