Learning to save money at a very young age is one of the best things that we can teach our kids, not just for the very reason of having something when you need it in the future, but for teaching them to give value to every single penny that will touch their hands.
Maybe your kids. For very young kids Id rather put focus on things in life and teach them the value of things that don't require money. That exact mindset is why our society is so sick and fucked up. Kids should be kids until a certain age. They can still learn the importance of money in our fucked up society once they get to a certain age.
1. Connect hard work with success. 2. Be committed to your dream & do it more/better than everyone else. 3. In order to start, just start. Don't risk it all, but get out there and try. 3(b). Find the right people to work with... know your strengths and weaknesses & pick partners with different skills. 4. Really analyze what you'e going to do... market research, branding, thinking are all essential. 5. Be humble, listen, and absorb information as much as possible. The earlier the better!
Hunter Robinson Ty! Regarding Part 3. I believe that the more you know about the market and the better you or your idea are, the more you can risk. eg. Elon Musk (He pretty much invested his entire life to succeed with companies like PayPal, Tesla or SpaceX).. Just a little add ob from my side :)
I am surprised at how many arrogant people are commenting here, saying that they don't need Jon's advice or he got lucky. We only see 30% of what Jon, Benni and Janni have put in to get here. [yes, Janni works incredibly hard too]. Of course we have to take the advice with a pinch of salt but damn guys, chill. At the end of the day, we are all different, but there is always ways to better your situation. You are either open or closed. Open people find a way to thrive; whether it's in 5 minutes or 5 years. Please do not tell me I'm wrong. I was born into a poor family, but the more "open minded" I am, is the more I see that opportunities are everywhere. I thank God for Jon, Janni and Benni, because there isn't enough people that spread this pure kind of positivity around to people's lives.
Guys, remember to be critical with what you hear! I know a lot of the people who subscribe Jon is less than 20-years-old. What has worked with him probably won't work with you. Take all your motivation, go to school, study and when you graduate, you have a different view on every aspect of life: especially in business. Not everyone can make a fortune with skiing. Don't underestimate the value of studying. I admire what Jon does and what he has done but for the young people who might idolize him, be critical! I like Jon's and Benni's vlogs and I have been watching them for ages and thank you for the content! In conclusion: do what you love, but make sure you won't be bankrupt after a year.
Bankrupcy is just a pitstop. School give people little to no skills relatable to real business. Do what you love, and if that makes you go bankrupt, so be it. You can recover from bankrupcy
Jon, i have a future ahead of me, so thank you for all the tips you've given me, it makes me more motivated and it inspires me to work hard in school. I'm 15 years old and live in Holland and i want to start a company in the future. I just want to say, thank you for all the nice content you bring to the world and all the positive you spread. Keep up with the vlogs! Bye, Finn
Finn van Son if u work hard in school you will never be succesful in business there is no school that teach you business because business have many different paths and you have to find what works for you and the more you fail the bigger chance to succed its like fotball you can watch how messi doing tricks for 20hrs every day for 10 yrs if you dont pick the ball up and try by yourself you will never learn anything and thats why school failing people i am 17 btw and have a businesss thats why i'm telling you this
Li nus i'm sorry but i disagree with you because i think to get better faster you have to try and experiment and the most important is that you have to love what you do only then you can be one of the best
josef biro. Hey kid listen, dont spread this kind of BS you hear in your local business paper. I have computer science degree, now I work for a company as a consultant that pays me $110k/yearly and I have my company where I generate over 300k/yearly where I can cash in atleast 20% of these 300k. (rest goes back into investment, and the company is rapidly growing each year). All of this thanks to my university degree which helped me to earn more than many people do. Just to tell you another story, my friend have a software engineering degree (similar to mine). His company generates over 100k/monthly. Without the degree, believe he would not have all this things. You can do it without university, but school gives you the knowledage.
Plz bring back the daily question Jon. I would like to know how you can bring that big drone with you, all over the world. Love your volgs and keep up the good work!
JON OLSSON ULTIMATE GUIDE TO SUCCESS: 1.- Hard work will give you rewards. 2.- Do more than everyone else. 3.- Just start trying. 3b.- Find a good partner. 4.- Analyze what you're going to do. / THINK. 5.- Be humble. And finally... To make money is a lot easier if you have money, so be smart with your money! (And be passionate)
English/Engelska: Congratulations Jon Olsson for surpassing 900 000 subscribers! You are my favorite youtuber of all time. No doubts... Svenska/Swedish: Grattis Jon Olsson för att du har passerat 900 000 prenumeranter! Du är min favorityoutuber genom tiderna. Det råder det inget tvivel om...
For me, the most important one is the number 5. The rest are tips to get to the last tip, and I think is very important to note that Jon is not referring only to creating a company to reach that point as also he included the time he was a professional Skier. I have to say thank you Jon for sharing this, it has a huge value. Best!
This was interesting. I enjoyed seeing Benni more this time, and seeing Janni after a while was great! Jon, some of your advice describes me, like being committed, which I am as a student, and with other parts of it I'm not yet at that point. For example, sure, I've wanted to go into business for myself for around five years now, but I would be really worried about the idea of losing money for a while. Again, this was interesting, a very nice video that really kept my attention! Happy Friday, All of You, and Ciao Ciao, John
Bennie seems so soo nice ! , -and great editing Benni . My husband and I are addicted to your vlogs guys !!! Keep it up . Congrats on Lombok purchase . Love from Australia
These talking/toughts vlogs are really great, I like them alot. You really have good points about life and business, hopefully we could hear some business toughts from Richard and Henrik too. You really should write a book someday!
I've been waiting for this Vlog for about what, two years now and totally worth of waiting! Thank you Jon for sharing your thoughts and have a great time in NYC.
ive never watched a youtube channel for so long as yours, i think this is a good sign. You deserve way more subs, but thats not what matters. Keep it up!!!
I had to "borrow" my neighbors wifi connection so i could watch this in best quality possible! Such great stuff, and thank you for the business tips mr. Olsson, put things in a new perspective.
man I thought I was still subbed but haven't had any of you vids show up in like....6 months. had to physically come to you channel first haha. Glad to see you guys are still killing it at the UA-cam game. That's hard work
I think your business sprout can also be attributed to your past career of professional skiing = exposure and the use of UA-cam fans deciding to look at douchebags, etc.
Thank you so much for the 5 + Bonus of bits of Advice. Greatly appreciated you were able to take the time. Very good information to get a really good start. Nothing overwhelming!!! Just good common sense. It truly is up to us to make our life happen as you have done. Congratulations on your two new additions to your family. I love your videos.
1) Parental motivation 2) Commit to your passion and do it to the best of your ability 3) Start doing 3(b) Find the right partner 4) Analyze and innovate 5) Be humble
I have been watching some of your old vlogs. Love all the vlogs you made Jon, but there is one big difference in them. The amount of energy and saying yes from mr. Ortega is so much more 'energizing then the one with Marcus. I love the b rolls, the amazing edits and the storyline in the vlogs. Hope you will keep up the good work, get to read this and get more energy from this comment too. Don't change a winning team, and you guys are winning every aspect. Team overkill all the way. Ciaoo!
More than 900.000 subscribers. You know you will hit 1.000.000. I suggest one EPIC compilation with the beste footage and great music. Since vlog 40 or so here and not leaving soon!
Well, congrats to 900k Jon! I'm always wondering how your channel, compared to others, grows kinda slow and that with such a good quality with Benji in your team.
We want more business advice!Could you do a serie with deep business advice? One about real estate. One about how you find the right used car.One about how you launch your bag company.etc
This has become my favorite vlog. It's evolved into something substantial. It has a direction that flows, positive, motivating content with purpose and applicable knowledge. Great work guys!
some great advice. But was expecting to see "Trust" in there after the Lombok Deal. JO mentions think hard about everything and analyse it but there seem to be a lot of reasons to be wary of the Lombok Deal if you do this, UNLESS you have the Trust issue, which he obviously does in his partners. Rooting for JO and Lombok will be great to watch the house being built. Thanks for sharing
@Jon Olsson you are my favourite youtuber and your Vlogs are Amazing! By watching your past few Vlogs I noticed that they are much better without Janni!!
Jon, what to say. I have now seen all of your daily vlog. I am like you, if i do something. I do it for 200%! The first 365 Vlogs is finished, i have been seen the new vlogs parallel with the old once. But if you do 10 episodes, sometimes more per day :). You will come to the end , so you are in the need for waiting on the last episode. Were i am now. It has been so fun, and your energy. keep up with this vlog. You inspire many people, including me! Benji, you rock dude! It´s so fun to see the improvement in the editing skills. "YES" :) So know is it just and wait to see what happens in VLOG 82 :) So Ciao from Sweden!!
All great advice. Your experience is undeniably valuable, but your motivation and dedication are what push you over the top - in my opinion. Like you said, do it better than everyone else. You're always inspiring, and for that I thank you. Would've been awesome to meet you guys in NYC, but nonetheless, I hope you have a great time. "Ability is what you're capable of doing. Yes, but there is alot of people who invest their whole lifes and lose. Way more people do that and no one talks about them ofc
Thanks for writing this Hunter!!!!

What's the scar on his arm?

manhattan edit was crazy! a great way to transcendent a feeling of the city
Love seeing Benji enthusiastic. He almost becomes a dog; hyper, sticking head out of the window, running after things. Plus he's a good boy

Thanks Jon so much, exactly what I needed at the moment! A bit of motivation!
Everyday with Jon is a good day.
I really like Jon n Janni ❤
so happy always when you upload!
I have a question of the day, if you still do that :P
Q: What is the craziest experience you have had on a flight? Since you have been flying so much, you must have a near death experience of something like that.
