[Preview 1] Cable Funk II - XXXL Extreme Demon layout | Geometry Dash

About 2 years ago, I made a 9 minute long layout and uploaded it to youtube. It was meant to be an unofficial sequel to JonathanGD's cancelled level Cable Funk. For whatever reason, it ended up being one of the most succesful videos on my channel, so I've finally decided I'm going to remake it! It will be primarily my own project, but CheeR will also have a part later in the level.
The level will be heavily nerfed, possibly to Dark Odyssey difficulty, and I will add some effects and block design here and there if I feel like it. I won't decorate it any more than what you see in this preview. So far the level is 40% done, has 29,709 objects (I suck at optimizing lmfao) and 124 groups. I will upload one more preview of 41%-75% before I finish it.
I've been working on this level non-stop for the past week, so I need a little break for a few days lmao

This looks really nice! I'm also making a level using the entire song, and I'm about 80% done. I really like the way you structure objects and keep it simple, as well as the really creative gameplay you use, while also not being completely unreadable. I wish you luck on this project!

Hey Magmage! This level incredibly accurately conveys the atmosphere and canonicity of the first unreleased level. How about how to partially decorate the first part and complete the gp in the same aundetic concept

Hi! Really glad you like it so far!! I don’t think I’m gonna have the energy or motivation to do the original Cable Funk as well tho, lmao. Making gameplay is the only part of building I really think is fun, and since pretty much all the gameplay is already made in Cable Funk I don’t see myself doing anything with it. I will once the level is 75% done, but I don’t know when that will be since I’ve had a lot of school and demotivation lately. Summer break is coming up tho, so hopefully I’ll be able to get some work done soon.
