I can't really speak for the Deep wave since the hair is mixed together and I haven't worn that hair alone. But from what I can tell it seems that the deep wave tangles a bit more than the bohemian curl, but that may be because the hair is mixed together. I have the bohemian curl and I'm about to order the deep wave! I'm juiced! The curls mixed together look so pretty! I bought the bohemian LAST YEAR,wore it for months,gave it away (little sis)and go it back and it's still kicking! lol 😂 I can't wait to make my new wig.

I wash the hair before I put it on my head used a little baking soda and some white vinegar to get out the chemical smell wash it like I do my own and let dry in bath tub, hair was curly and I flat iron it I had hair put in today at my salon I used 10 12 and one 14 it is curly I didn't want it to long it lays a bit past the shoulder it is so soft and it looks great my husband love it.

So i purchased this hair because of your reviews on it; and gurl let me tell you that I LOVE THIS HAIR!!! I purchased it back in may, installed it june 1st as a weave, went on vaca /6/10-16, came back to NYC and its august and still holding up strong!!! I reinstalled it after vaca cuz salt water, pool and humidity my braids loosened up quickly, but other than that the hair its BEAUTIFUL! Matches my leave out perfectly too! It dont shed even having cut my wefts. The only shedding i experience is when i wash or cowash the hair. I DO RECOMMEND USING SULFATE FREE SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER. Also the less product on hair the better (in my opinion), other than that, I THANK YOU SO MUCH CHICA!! 😘 ps. Sorry i took over your comment area, just wanted to give my honest opinion.

i love this video, very detailed and you've gained a new subscriber. i am making a u-part for a client. I can do a sew-in with my eye's closed but wig making has been a challenge for me because I can't seem to find the right wig cap. I've made a full wig on a dome cap but it would slip off if not sewed on, this was for a client that had no hair. In your opinion, do you think the dome cap is best for a U-part with leave out?

My beauty supply store has soooooo many options for wig caps. I use the mesh dome cap because it is breathable and easier to puncture with a sewing needle www.amazon.com/Mesh-Dome-Style-Wig-Cap/dp/B00JMQH16E/ref=pd_lpo_vtph_194_lp_img_3?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=APQSF2H569AXZCGYE2BD . The dome caps for uparts are sturdy and wont slip off since it is secured with clips or sewn around the perimeter. The u part being anchored at the leave out makes it perfect! The only thing that I had to make note of is sizing for a u part. It is easy to make the cap too big or too small, so I found I have to measure my head or others heads before choosing a cap. You also have to account for the bunching that happens when you sew the tracks to the cap (if you are sewing) and how large you would like the leave out to be in the u part area and the perimeter. If I want more leave out in the u part area I make sure I size down. If I want minimal leave out I size up. The cap has to fit less snug. Did you alternate between texture types like 22 inch Bohemian then 22 deep wave of was it all bohemian at the bottom and then Deep wave in the middle and the Bohemian closure?
So I started with the perimeter track with the 22 inch bohemian curl then I used 2 mini bundles of the deep wave 22inch then alternated to bohemian then deep wave after that. I finished off with one more bohemian bundle and the bohemian closure. I hope that helped!
I once had someone make my u- part wigs for me and she measured my head and marked on the wig cap before sewing on the hair. Have you already measured and marked your measurements or do you not measure? The young lady no longer does wigs so I'm going to attempt to do my own while watching your video. #fingerscrossed

Yes love!!!! I use the same exact products on this hair that I use on the bohemian curl. I don't use the aussie moist conditioner and water combination as often. I just use water then the cantu coil calm detangling spray, then a tiny bit of coconut oil on my ends. The deep wave reacts similarly to the products as the bohemian curl does.

got this hair today and will try it will use the short hair 10 12 inch will weave in i don't like to wear wigs they are to hot this looks like it is easy to manage being an older lady i can wear straight or curly
I have a shorter wig with this hair and it is easier to manage. It is a little hot because of the cap, but not as hot as a full wig. Let me know how you like it!!!
I am not sure if I understand the question love, I'm sorry. I do cut the closure and then I sew it down to the cap and then after that I cut out the u part in the closure.
So the Styrofoam mannequin head that is sold at sally's is the most affordable (5 bucks) and only comes in one size. If you are more concerned about accuracy of the mannequin head, I suggest that you measure your head and search for one that is close to your head size online. I have a really small head and my sister has a larger head and we use the same mannequin head and the wig usually fits fine. I focus more on the caps and the size that I use in those and they can range from xs-xl, you can measure for your cap size as well. As far as where I place the cap. I typically try and place the cap as close to a natural hairline on the mannequin as I can. That is of less importance when you are making a u part because unlike a full wig with a closure you can pull out more or more or less hair to compensate for the size of the wig (if you make the wig too small or too large). But mostly it is trial and error. I hope that makes sense love!
Shaqkena Thompson you do not have to buy more hair. Granted my head is small but I didn't used the closure but I still had a mini bundle left over. I had plenty of hair love!!!

All you need is one pack. I used two because I wanted to use two textures. So I bought the deep wave and the bohemian curl. I love the bohemian curl the best. I promise one pack is enough for a very full head.
So I used Carrington farms cold pressed, unrefined, organic, extra virgin coconut oil. I usually buy the largest size from Costco but they stopped carrying it. " I bleach mine with 30 volume developer in small sections because I did not want to mess up the curl pattern and then tone it with wella color charm, wish I did not have to but the natural color was too harsh against my skin. Can I say I am feeling my self ???? I cant blame you yet as I loving this hair wayyy to much." sooooo I think that the hair took a color very well! sorry for the late reply jasmine! The hair does matte up but not any more than my natural curly hair does. I don't try and prevent matting because it is basically impossible if I am honest, but it can be managed. I make sure I add some sort of moisturizer in the hair every day or every other day and finger comb it. I have found that the cantu coil calm detangling spray has been my "holy grail" product for this hair. I also have stopped pineapple-ing my hair at night and started banding which has greatly decreased the matting and tangling. (If you haven't heard about banding, this girl does a great demo ua-cam.com/video/GxpmqxtmsXQ/v-deo.html I have found that pineappling my hair and piling it on top of my head changes the direction of the curls, which in turn, causes matting. Ugh you gave the WRONG link for the deep wave hair it's Not the same hair you used in the package I waisted $115. The one you posted in the video was Naked Natural wet and wavy hair in the blue package and the one that you have linked isn't even the same brand it's Saga deep wave it's not wet and wavy and it's in a red package. I'm a subbie of yours and ONLY ordered after watching your video😑. I love your videos so I'm really disappointed because I waited for my hair to do an install.

So I only switch out between bundles... so I finish one deep wave bundle and then I do a bohemian curl bundle.

Oh nooooooo!!!!!!!!!!! I am soooooo sorry! Curly hair is a hit or miss especially when you are on a budget. So once I find hair that works I cant let it go! It is soooooo frustrating!

I have a shorter wig with this hair and it is easier to manage. It is a little hot because of the cap, but not as hot as a full wig. Let me know how you like it!!!

When you cut the closure did you sew the it down before you put it on.
I am not sure if I understand the question love, I'm sorry. I do cut the closure and then I sew it down to the cap and then after that I cut out the u part in the closure.

You cut the closure so fast that I wasn't sure exactly what you cut? Did you cut all the hair before the tracks on the closure?
I cut an extra layer of fabric under the closure.

how do you know which mannequin head to get and where to place the cap on it?
So the Styrofoam mannequin head that is sold at sally's is the most affordable (5 bucks) and only comes in one size. If you are more concerned about accuracy of the mannequin head, I suggest that you measure your head and search for one that is close to your head size online. I have a really small head and my sister has a larger head and we use the same mannequin head and the wig usually fits fine. I focus more on the caps and the size that I use in those and they can range from xs-xl, you can measure for your cap size as well. As far as where I place the cap. I typically try and place the cap as close to a natural hairline on the mannequin as I can. That is of less importance when you are making a u part because unlike a full wig with a closure you can pull out more or more or less hair to compensate for the size of the wig (if you make the wig too small or too large). But mostly it is trial and error. I hope that makes sense love!

Shaqkena Thompson you do not have to buy more hair. Granted my head is small but I didn't used the closure but I still had a mini bundle left over. I had plenty of hair love!!!

That is true, BUT you can get two wigs out of it since you have two packs. Each pack does a full head.

All you need is one pack. I used two because I wanted to use two textures. So I bought the deep wave and the bohemian curl. I love the bohemian curl the best. I promise one pack is enough for a very full head.

So I used Carrington farms cold pressed, unrefined, organic, extra virgin coconut oil. I usually buy the largest size from Costco but they stopped carrying it. " I bleach mine with 30 volume developer in small sections because I did not want to mess up the curl pattern and then tone it with wella color charm, wish I did not have to but the natural color was too harsh against my skin. Can I say I am feeling my self ???? I cant blame you yet as I loving this hair wayyy to much." sooooo I think that the hair took a color very well! How do you prevent this hair from matting?
sorry for the late reply jasmine! The hair does matte up but not any more than my natural curly hair does. I don't try and prevent matting because it is basically impossible if I am honest, but it can be managed. I make sure I add some sort of moisturizer in the hair every day or every other day and finger comb it. I have found that the cantu coil calm detangling spray has been my "holy grail" product for this hair. I also have stopped pineapple-ing my hair at night and started banding which has greatly decreased the matting and tangling. (If you haven't heard about banding, this girl does a great demo ua-cam.com/video/GxpmqxtmsXQ/v-deo.html I have found that pineappling my hair and piling it on top of my head changes the direction of the curls, which in turn, causes matting. Ugh you gave the WRONG link for the deep wave hair it's Not the same hair you used in the package I waisted $115. The one you posted in the video was Naked Natural wet and wavy hair in the blue package and the one that you have linked isn't even the same brand it's Saga deep wave it's not wet and wavy and it's in a red package. I'm a subbie of yours and ONLY ordered after watching your video😑. I love your videos so I'm really disappointed because I waited for my hair to do an install.
