When you boil the first shoe you boil off a coating for the plastic which changes the “water”. So either you boil them at the same time or you start with fresh water for each shoe.
There's also a lot less water in the pot when you put in the second shoe
I boiled mine and yes it did shrink. But I only shrunk the right foot because it was bigger than the left. I boiled it for like 7 mins to get it to my desired size 👍🏾
I left one of mine in front of my bunk heater for the second time so a space heater will shrink it but way too fast.
Me salvaste la vida lo voy a hacer xq me confundí de talla cuando los compre en línea
My guess about the time difference from right to left is that they might have been made in different batches. Sometimes the handling of the materials can produce eccentricities
Glad I could help! 😁
Не развалились после варки?
Нет, до сих пор - полëт нормальный!
Are yiu letting the water get back up to the same temp before putting the other shoe in? When you add spmething to boiling water at a lowrr temp, it will bring down the water tempature. You will need to put one in and let it shrink, then let the water temp rise again before putting the second one in
I bought the size 8 and its fit perfectly but why its chunky any solutions?
Put them in at same time and then put them on your feet and walk around so they mold to your feet
Do you know if any of these methods will remove the print on the shoes? I ordered these custom Fredy Kruger ones and they are way too big. Thank you for your help!
Maybe I noticed even the ones that I have purchased from crocs (even without daily use) peel off with time
I would say depending on type of print you can always test a small test area
Does this method work on the fake Yeezy slides from Temu?
I'm not sure but you can always test it out! 🤞🏼😊
People that are whole size shouldn't have an issue it man people who are half sizes that need to shrink im 9.5 to 10 hit 10 crocs are a pinky tip to big on back part so I need to shrink em
like me i take a womens 9.5 i find 9 is way to small but 1- is way big so use the hot water method and it shrinks them to what i need
Throw it in the dryer with a couple towels
I have a doubt... if it's an printed crocs ,will anything happen to it when we boil it ?
Sorry for the late reply, but I honestly haven't tried it, but I would assume the layer would probably melt off
There is different style print on crocs tho so it would also depend on that you can always do a small area dip test on the croc and see if it does come off.
Maybe I'll do a video test on this subject too soon... I'm curious now 🤔
How long should it be submerged in boiling water?
It depends on how much you want to shrink them I would start off by placing it about 2 or 3 minutes and see if it's to your desired length if not keep submerging it for a minute at a time till you reach to your desired results.
@@lavidawithkim thanks! I did it using a hair dryer tho and it quickly shrinked :)
No problem! Yes that works too! 👍
Maybe it needs new fresh water for each shoe?? I wonder if it has something to do with chemicals or something leeching off when you boil the first one... thats the only thing I can think of
I thought about that too so I did end up changing the water but it still was taking a while to shrink so I figured it wasn't that probably the chemicals of the actual shoe.
It might have took some time but it eventually worked tho. lol
My son bought a very expensive pair (discontinued) with his birthday money I’m so scared to boil them incase the pattern peels/flakes. We don’t have hot enough days here for the car trick
Broh is this true because I had the exact same situation
For how much duration we should keep the croc in boiling water
3 minutes in a bigger pan one size smaller thanks from UK
If you have a smaller pan just make sure you put the Crocs in there the same amount of time per side ( of the shoe) and time is depending how much you want to the shoe to shrink about 2 mins to start and add a min as needed!
Hope this helps
Does this work for literide?
I haven't tested it so I wouldn't know, but you can try🤞
What if it's all terrain crocs?
It won't be spoil right or does anyone try this?
You have to change the water after each shoe
How much cm it decresed pls rpl?
I would say around 2 to 3 cm
Wow nice!
Only logical explanation and I’m no scientist but I would say from your results the first one has to be releasing some type of chemical or changing the water somehow with the chemicals leaching from the first one that it balances out so to say so it neutralizes the the initial results due to a change in the water…..could be wrong but watching this that’s the only thing I can think of to explain her results
This worked lol
Кроксы или сланцы оставить на солнце +30,40град. Уменьшается точно
I bought a size 7 in men's thinking that I bought a 7 in women's and I really don't want to go through the whole returning process so now I'm just hoping this works
any update?
Did it work?
@@ananyagowda8077 i boiled mine and it did work!! from W to W6 size 😊
it worked?
I need to shrink my son crocs they alittle big
For sure go with the boiling water method!
Dryer method works well for me
Thank you all for the info🥰
Can we extend the strap by boiling?
Yes! Boil water first, place your strap in the boiling water for about 2 minutes and then take it out stretch it to your desire length be careful because it could be hot! Let it cool down and that's it!
You got do at same time
its best for you to leave them big, the size will last longer, and you wont have to buy a new pair.
U talking like my mom
@@Reasonzfax
@@Reasonz 😂😂😂😂
Okay but mine like two sizes up
change the water
heres an idea, buy your actual size
Put it in the oven
Wow! What a novel idea to just buy the size you need! What? 😂
You can't just buy the size you need. Cause they don't come in half sizes. So they are either to small or to big.
