My 😇mother in law and infant came on a boat from Japan .🚢 It took 21 days to the US. After the Korean War🚁 when she met her😇 husband ,my father in law who was stationed there.from the US . Much later ,She did become a US citizen 🇺🇸 She had 4 children who have children and some great grandchildren.
This story brought back memories, my father said not to ever read this book, Edward G Maloy was mean, cruel, hateful, and ignorant, because he said JFK was communist cause JFK wasn't LDS (MORMAN).. My father said he'd never die, treat women as stupid off spring.. This book proves ALL MEN and WOMEN are created equal thru hard work and determination.. USA IS THE LAND OF THE FREE BECAUSE OF THE BRAVE, it takes courage to stand up for TRUTH, LIBERTY, and JUSTICE FOR ALL.. Thank you Pres John F Kennedy!!! JCM
Love your channel; slight request: premieres should be no more than a day or two in advance. I hate getting notices for Premieres that are more than a day away.
There are recommendations from UA-cam as to the duration of Premieres. Unfortunately we cannot make the premiers as short as you would like. There are reasons for longer Premiers we won't go into detail here, but the recommendations from UA-cam we abide by are:😊 In general, setting the Premiere of your UA-cam video a few days to a week in advance is best. Thank you for watching and your kind words.
Too bad for the bulk of the Titanic crew that didn't get here...and interesting how many of the insanely rich did make it and put forth into the eventual too rich for their own good...
Enslaved Africans were not considered immigrants because they were not voluntary migrants. Immigrants are people who move in search of refuge and resettlement of their own volition. During the period of slavery in the United States, newcomers from Europe, Asia and elsewhere were called immigrants. Enslaved Africans were not.
Please pull out your dictionary. We are looking at a documentary about immigrants. No one said "they don't count". They are simply not part of this documentary.
This was the best thing I've ever seen. 🇺🇸
The Xerox commercials stood out as being creative and well-directed. For 1967, they were considerably ahead of their time.
This is awesome dude! Thank you for the video!
You bet!

1:21 Major Toht survived the opening of the Ark and emigrated to the U.S.?
My ancestors were colonists as opposed to immigrants.

I am disappointed this program ignores the 390,000 Africans who immigrated to this country against their will.

Right... they don't count. After all, as prescribed in our constitution, African slaves were just 3/5 of a person.

And they by and large still haven't assimilated.
