Oh, i’ve changed so drastically on my views of skin care in the last couple of years. I used to be a glow recipe/truly girly and I’m so glad I moved on from all that. I understand why everyone loves it, but I find I get far more effective and affordable products from the lines that people like you, Dr. Dray, Alice down the rabbit hole, no bs beauty and many other great creators have shown me. Hope you’re having a wonderful August so far! 🩷
I just found your channel, and I wanted to say that I love your presentation style. You communicate really effectively and directly, providing useful insights and recommendations while still being entertaining and keeping things moving! I especially love the context you include with your skin concerns, history with products, others you have tried, etc. I wish you continued success on this platform!
Few weeks ago I was looking for new toner/essence and came up on your older videos reviewing ENS Jin Jung Sung. I was so excited to try it. Stylevana took almost a month but omg this is my second week using it and wow I've never felt anything more soothing! I went up on my tret strength and needed some help with my skin barier! This thing is a magic in the bottle! I absolutely love it. I saw the title of the video and got little scared but I'm glad to know that you still love it!! Thanks for the recommendation
@Kelly I really like the Skinfix barrier+ I use both the cream and the gel cream for daytime. That cream can heal bug bites on my leg in day! Love it. Skinfix usually have the 2 moisturize kit with a mini cleanser or hand cream for $60 once every year and that’s when I purchase mine.
I love the Skinfix moisturiser. I didn't find it too rich, and I don't even have dry skin. I probably have tried the reformulated version. I'd repurchase it often if it wasn't so expensive here in the UK. For ¼ of the price I can get the iUnik betaglucan moisturiser or the Purito B5 Panthenol Re-Barrier moisturiser
Definitely you have the reformulated one, they also have a lighter gel cream they released too. The price is still too high imo but at least they sell refills now!
Skinfix has 2 moisturizers with a mini cleanser for $68 and you can get 15% off first order to get it wound $57. That’s a good steal. They do that every year getting to the end of the year and that’s when I grab it m which usually takes me through to the next year!
Thank you for highlighting the peptide used in the triple lipid cream, have not seen any other creators explain the nutripeptide blend. This also put me off from the product, after purchasing it and scanning the inci. Glad to hear the texture has been tweaked, though
Loved, loved the BoJ moisturizer. My skin's dry but living in Malaysia where it's really dry it's really hard to find a lightweight moisturizer that provides lasting moisture but this is just chef's kiss.
I JUST recently watched your video about Skinfix and am soo curious what you think of it now. I always have my eye on it but since discovering Korean skincare I just don’t know if I can bring myself to buy it so let’s see what you have to say!
The ENS toner will definitely purchase when I do my next haul and the dynasty cream I don’t think would be rich enough for me I have very dry skin like the Sahara ( eczema) however I did bit the bullet on the Skinfix cream, to try next as my day time moisturiser, it will have to be exceptionally good for me to repurchase at that price, but I do like to try things even if it is only the once. I have a FOMO…lol😂
So funny I tried the Dynasty Cream but maybe I'll save it for winter. It's so occlusive! Or something. It is so much for my skin. I must still have oily skin. At 44. Sigh.
I love this video. We are always trying out new brands new products bcz it gives us FOMO. This kind of video gives us new direction what has changed and why. Thanks Kelly🙏🏻
I totally agree with the skinfix cream I use to hate it and the plastic smell it had. It felt like your skin couldn't breath at all a few years ago. I do love the brand , I wish they weren't as pricey for what their products are though. I'm using their eye cream from that line right now . I love the ENS SJ I wish they would expand on their products even more and make some other good products, I know they have the serum too. I have actually been using the cream to that line on my body cause it has all the peptides and good ingredients and it's not expensive and it's over 3 oz and its hard to find peptides and all those good ingredients in a cream for your body that isn't outrageous. I still haven't tried that BOJ cream .
It still has that burnt plastic smell but at least the texture is better! I have some of the other Jin Jung Sung products I'm excited to try, the face and eye cream I've used before and it's huge!
Hi Kelly! Fellow dry skin here 🖐 I agree about BoJ dynasty cream. It's so nice, delicate and such a good value too! I've used like 4 jars or something but recently my dry skin didn't find it as moisturising as it used to be. I think its just my skin getting old and more dehydrated 😂
It's so good but definitely agree it didn't grow with me. I really wish BOJ would focus on developing a true dry skin moisturizer next, it's one of the few things missing from their current line up!
You can, it's definitely very soothing and hydrating. They also have an Omega essence that's richer and more moisturizing (think cream essence), if that suits your skin!
can you do a fall skincare video of good toners, essences, serums, oils and moisturizers for dry skin that is a bit combo using tretinoin? i would love that!
Hi Kelly please review the other Skinfix products if you have them. Like you, I really like the reformulated version and so I am interested in their other products now but so hesitant to try them due to the price. Thank you ❤
No BS beauty mentioned that she has seen several of their products at T.J. Maxx so it’s worth a trip there as they are about half price. (obviously, check the expiration date, but I have yet to find a product there that was close to being expired.)
Jin jung sung was nice but it started to really dry my skin out. Now I'm using just the cosrx Centella toner mist , q+a Marine hyaluronic serum, boj red bean moisturizer. Has anyone tried the stratia liquid gold
What type of skin do you have? I have dry skin and I love Stratia Liquid Gold! Not greasy or too rich, but really good for your moisture barrier. I think it softens and smooths my skin too.
Being a skincare enthusiast and a regular viewer of your videos, I can say that korean skincare is not for everyone. I have been badly disappointed with their products though i have been giving chances to them time and again. I am switching back to french products which according to me are very well researched and tested! No more korean products on my skin now.
Thanks for the reviews Kelly! Random question…do you know if the mediheal baobab serum has been discontinued? You recommended it a while back and became a HG because it has all the good stuff but no niacinamide! I hate when good things get discontinued or there is a formula change…so annoying!
Is this just my skin (combo, can be dryer in winter and slightly oilier in hot and humid summers) or does anyone else find BOJ dynasty cream sticky? I think it’s a good moisturizer, but I hate the stickiness even as a night moisturizer.
Yes! I did braces and Invisalign from January 2020 to 2022, which widened my jaw and pushed back my overjet. Definitely changed my profile and lips a lot!
I never buy western moisturisers as they are so overpriced compared to same or better from Korean beauty. Skinfix, Farmacy, Kopari, Drunk Elephant and then kbeauty marketed at the west rather than Korea like Glow recipe, then i met you, dr jart etc are overpriced rip offs imo.
Jin Jung Sung also has an omega version of the serum that has everything you love plus the addition of omega fatty acids!
Yes! It's on deck to be tested!

Putting my StyleVana haul I'm tonight , I'm getting the misha Essense ! Thx 😊
That top is SO super cute!!!!
Thank you so much!
Skinfix is my jam.. I love that cream!

They're offering a refill for skinfix now so at least if you do want to repurchase it will be slightly less! Hope it works well for you!
Hello Kelly 👋 I was wondering what your thoughts are on the new Numbuzin No.5 glutathione vitamin concentrated serum?
So funny I tried the Dynasty Cream but maybe I'll save it for winter. It's so occlusive! Or something. It is so much for my skin. I must still have oily skin. At 44. Sigh.
JUST WAIT. 😳😬🫣

@@KellyDriscoll Don't think you can ever disappointe Kelly ❤️Your videos is always amazing and so addicted to watch xx
Hi Kelly 😊 would you recommend Soon Jung Essence use during colder weather? Thanks and have a great day.
You can, it's definitely very soothing and hydrating. They also have an Omega essence that's richer and more moisturizing (think cream essence), if that suits your skin!
@KellyDriscoll very kind of you, thanks!

Any moisturizer recommendation? ☺️ the la roche posay cicaplast baume b5+ makes me break out :(
French skincare is so good, def drop your faves for those asking!

Hmmm not sure, would be a disappointment if it is! Looks like you can purchase on Style Korean still.
@@KellyDriscoll thanks!
Sorry my question is off topic. Has anyone tried the DHC Coq10 lotion ? ( it's actually a toner ) Thank you in advance 😊

I Have blackheads allover my face it Turns into pimples.. Please suggest me how to get ride of it ..
Salicylic acid for a couple of months will help

Hi, this will sound random, but it seems that your face shape changed a lot during those 3-4 years. Did you invisalign your teeth or smth?
She actually did use Invisalign. I believe Kelly talks about it in her older videos.
