Thanks lad, always good to see the comparisons between them , from my perspective and from the recording that we can see I think that the the raptor has it ,it may be different when looking through the eye piece ,
What do you think
A price for the 2 of them might help people decide which way to jump but the Hik has it for me.
The Raptor has more aggressive sharpening (the black line around the subject), and a higher magnification. The Merger has a far wider field-of-view. I'd like to know what contrast and brightness setting were used on the Merger. The image quality of my Merger is heaps better than the one used in this video.
I thought that too until he said he had a smoothing filter on the pulsar. So this demonstration was unfortunately biased because of that.
Hik picture of the person is better and clearer but background on pulsar seems a bit more defined. Colour and nightvision is a bonus as well on raptor
Bought the raptor love it, however one thing that let's it down which most don't talk about it the battery, outdated battery technology, 3 18650 batteries that need to be removed from their housing and put into a charger, give me one battery pack that slides in and out and doesn't require me carry 18650 batteries around in my pocket, they certainly missed the mark with the batteries, and they are rubbish in the cold, 3 hours in minus 5 this week
Interesting. Clearly a difference (pun)...what is the difference in price point. P.s. the video is black for ages after you finish .
To my eyes the image definition is better on the Hikmicro. Peculiar 🌟
is the wifi signal better on the mergers than the previous accolade iteration
Which pulsar products have ballistic calculator?
The raptor white hot is far easier to see .if it was crucial I would choose the raptor..very clear but the pulsar subtles the image a bit
Hik is best here clear even at higher magnification..
A good comparation would be with pulsar acolade last generation. Merger is another type
Pulsar and its low base mag (optical mag)... Pulsar need to increase - there is no need or reason for binocular type of observing device to have as low as x2.5 - either Pulsar will finally increase it for next gens or face the humiliation like this comparison and people will have to vote them out of the market with their wallets
Hikmicro nails it, no question, already the Pulsar is outdated, just shows how fast the market is moving
