Finally someone playing a Musician in a film that can handle the music. The music is very, very close to the original and helps complete the story and character - where the actual music often fails in other Bios.

Live what you wrote. What a creative & great thought. I don't think that
they would find anyone to play Timothee
And be convincing. T.C has so many layers. I cannot wait to see the movie. He is so spectacular and beautiful. I'm sure everyone caught how cute his mouth, grins and smile look.
I hope he never loses his compassion and sweet sincerity. He is and alwAys will be my favorite Actor/ Artist and person.

I’m sure there will be “Dylan snobs” who will protest the commercialization of Bob’ story. ( As a Blues fan I see it all the time when new blues artists emerge.). But this is a great story - how else to tell it to those who did not experience it? As a 73 yo I was fortunate to grow up with Bob’s music but many were not so lucky.

I'm not even a huge Dylan fan (though he wrote quite a few really good songs). But his story - the Ballad of Bobby and Joan - is one of the great stories of Americana and American music.

It feels like pop culture only remembers him through bad impressions and hack jokes. I’m glad he’s getting the biopic treatment so younger people can hopefully rediscover him and appreciate him for bringing some of the most beautiful music into the world.

Bob Dylan was and still is a visionary. He wrote some of the most important songs of the Civil Rights and anti-war movements.
After revisiting Rough and Rowdy Ways today, I see it as a warning for current times. That shouldn't be surprising, though. He never stopped telling us what was happening.

I have been listening to dylan since I was 16. I'm 18 now. For the last two years I was the 0.1% top listener of his' on Spotify. He's my most listened to musician. He makes me sob and weep. Especially his song - the mother of muses. I try to study his music but the cultural nuances are pretty hard to grasp because of difference in the era. So sometimes need some historical references to make sense outta song. But the more I understand the more deeply I fall in love with this man. His lyrics are prolific and unparalleled. And to be fairly honest, after listening to his songs even the best of our generation or at least the most popular ones seems as pale as the brits' cooking. Haha.

He looks like one of the best portrayals of a Musician in a Bio in a long time. Sounds very much like him. Looks very much like him and the music ISN"T over-dubbed. "I'm Not There' didn't even have him playing any of his music in it. I'm a musician and cover his songs often. The Kid is doing a great job. He even does a good job of nailing the idiosyncratic, 'unique' sound of Dylan messily turning his 'Folk' songs into 'Rock' songs with the Band.
