Awesome! Made my morning! Haven't seen an AW Python in a good while and I'm sure there are still a good amount running around the country somewhere lol. Love how the logo is pretty decent all those years and love how fast the arm is. Hope you can film some more of their stuff from this yard!
Can't say this wasn't exciting to see pop up this morning! Man, we can probably all agree that seeing AW branded trucks like this is a treat. Love how smoothly it runs and the fact that the logo is barely faded. Plus, whole truck looks great, seems like straight outta Georgia lol. Great work on this, awesome video! Happy 4th as well!
Amazing vid Jay! Sorry im so late on the comment. Always a special place in my heart for that AW logo so glad you could film this. The cart variety was also a bonus and I will say the Houston area has awesome trucks! One of your best vids to date!
Wow, an ‘09 MRU running as a daily in 2022. It just goes to show they don’t make ‘em like they used too! Great work! As much as I’d love to hop down there and grab some video, I know that’s damn near impossible. Hope you can’t some more!
this is one of the best videos you've posted, I could literally watch this over and over again, great vid, and also I saw an AW heil half pack last week, really cool to see aw still alive.
Outstanding video bro! It is super cool seeing an old AW truck still hauling today! The arm is a little wobbly but it still works at a pretty fast speed. I love the look of the black trim on the cab too and that old MRU roar sounded really cool as well. Also pretty neat that the logo hasn’t faded. Really glad you were able to catch this!
Awesome video, loved the lid flips! My local Republic yard got a WX64 McNeilus Autoreach a few months ago. They still run the Allied branded LEU Autoreachs. Happy Independence Day!
Great video Jay! Glad you were able to find this truck. There are not a lot of these around anymore and I see very few trucks with the old AW logo. Also liked the speed of the arm. Surprised how fast it was. Keep up the good work!
Great video, Republic services has nice durapack pythons and I wish they had more pythons also this truck almost looks like my first gear Allied waste side loader only diffrence is the hoppercover and more lights .happy July 4th!>🎉

Thanks glad to hear you enjoyed! Allied is so scattered around these days. Definitely plan on finding more trucks out of this site in the future.

Happy 4th! Yeah I was hoping some people would wake up to see this video come along haha. I’m surprised the logo hasn’t faded much either
Love seeing AW still on the road!

Totally cool lol, glad you enjoyed and hope to bring more Houston area footage when I have the chance!

Thank you! I know it’s amazing, I think the driver prefers this over the newer Peterbilts they have.

I rewatched my footage multiple before uploading lol, glad to hear you liked it!

Thank you Andrew! I love the black trim too especially since it seems republic doesn’t really order MRUs like that anymore.

Thank you! Glad to hear those are still around, hopefully you can catch the Autocar as well!
@@RefuseDFW02 No problem. The Autocar has the AW logo.
Awesome video happy 4th of July I like this truck. This truck is a beast.
Thanks same to you

Thanks, and yes very similar to the first gear!
Great video
Thanks bro!
great catch nice quality were was this filmed?
Thanks, this was in chateau woods
@@RefuseDFW02 nice
i assume this is still around and runs regularly?
@@Cos.1s sadly not, it was scrapped earlier this year
@@RefuseDFW02 No way. it ran so good for it's age. I'm willing to bet it was replaced by a boring newer python
@@Cos.1s yeah it lasted way longer than the rest of the AW fleet did! This driver was given a Pete 520 python
@@RefuseDFW02 520 Python eh? MRU was better imo
