- rewatching victorious made me realize we were robbed of tori and andre as one of nick's best friends to lovers couples (btw i hc them as bi4bi). i like both platonic/romantic tandré since i really love tandré's friendship!! this is all the tori and andre clips i compiled for season 1, might make a video on tandre moments for season 2 :)
(that scene in the pilot episode was a big win for tandre fans but youtube hates me so i had to cut it)

@@JayTheHatter if it even exists, there’s a reason why it’s deleted. Chemistry is not always romantic, their friendship is platonic and that’s what made it beautiful. Men and women can be friends without being attracted to one another, and if tori and Andre got together, it would promote that message (as every person in the friend group would have a romantic interest with someone in the friend group)

I agree that they’d be a really cute couple BUTT I just REALLY cherish their pure friendship most of all. If you think about it Beck and Robbie ( plus Rex ☠️ ) both tried to get at Tori at one point, but Andre never had an ulterior motive and was nothing more than a true friend to her. Out of the entire group, Andre has been the truest friend towards Tori and their scenes together as friends always stole the show. Truly platonic soulmates.

This friendship reminds me of a friendship i had with a friend of mine. She was gorgeous, She was great and we made it work for over 12 years. Sadly she passed away recently and it still hurts to this day. But it proves that even two best friends are the opposite sex there doesn’t have to be any type of shipping situation between them but just to be great friends.

...I do hate to be a suspicious bastard, but I can't help but notice that the one time Nickelodeon didn't have their main female character and her dude best friend even _entertain_ the idea of dating was when it would've been interracial.
Like, all their other sitcoms- even if it didn't end up being endgame, they'd still have the best friend characters at least explore the idea of a relationship for a couple episodes before deciding not to proceed. But then with Tori and Andre, suddenly "IT'S IMPORTANT THAT MEN AND WOMEN CAN BE JUST FRIENDS!!!"

Andre and Tori's friendship is honestly the reason why I was so hyped for victorious whenever it came on 😭 their interactions always made me feel warm inside. Like Andre was a really good friend to everyone, and kind. I think I had more of a crush on him than I did on Beck 😂 they have pure platonic chemistry, I wonder if they're friends IRL. It seems pretty hard not to be; I hear he's equally as down to earth and kind. No drama, and he writes for some major hitters in the music industry, not to mention his own work. He deserves the accolades. He's a gem in my book

Tori and Andre just had excellent chemistry. They are one of the few Nickelodeon TV pairings I remember that never NEEDED to be romantically involved to be a great pairing.
I'd prefer them as just friends, as their whole relationship was already perfectly handled this way.

I understand the need of having a true friendship between opposite sexes to show that it can be possible, however sometimes a good relationship need a good foundation as friendship so I think you can understand the dilemma. I don't remember many of the episode so I don't know if it changes but for what I can see in the comments it looks like she has a better friendship with him than with anyone else. So they are bff which is great, however, It makes you question why choose someone to spend your life with who doesn't even get to reach the same level of confort and affection that you have with your bff like I know not everyone is attracted to their bff and that's fine but if you want something more than sex why spend time with someone you don't care as much. And the thing is that in a TV show we tend to care for the cast but not for the side character that come for one episode to fill the need of a love interest, like, sorry but I don't know you. So between all the guys there, Andre seems more worthy.

0:47 for those wondering, this scene is from an episode where Tori (the main character) has to act out a fake fight scene with Jade (the pale girl with blue highlights) except that Jade hates Tori and pretended that she really did got hit by her just to spite her and lower her popularity. Andre in this scene realises that Jade had been making it up all along and used makeup to give herself a bruise.
