Ashley Johnson and Bill. Nice
To think there's people out there who know Ashley as "Patterson from Blindspot" is so weird to me.
I had this happen when me and my mother sat and watched episode 9 of the last of us, she said that Ashley was in blindspot and I said yes, and then told her all about Ellie from the games
She's very clearly "Pike from Critical Role". I believe that she even pointed out in Blindspot, she's a gnome cleric.
wtf how did i not connect the dots shes ellie
i even watched the bts bro im so braindead tffff thats so cool shes such a good actor
i doo doo stoopid
@@fuzzstergoat... Ellie, yeah, for sure.
@@Giby86 wait did i get something wrong
"I can certainly try" Hah! Love it
I wonder if the writers did that knowingly, unknowingly, or if she asked ofr it to be put in herself. Or just libbed it in
Apparently at least one writers watches CR enough to insert the occasional reference. In another clip, she mentions playing a gnome cleric.
Definitely intentional! The writers sprinkle CR easter eggs throughout the show. Apparently the only one that Ashley did herself was a CR mug on set.
Patterson: Big DM vibes
Bill Nye: Big Star Wars vibes
Is that also another critical role reference... you can certainly try ?
I caught that too! Definitely a CR reference!
I caught too there is no way it's not a CR reference
As a sentence it might not be... but the way it was delivered, that was definitely a reference
@@cornelia3912 Wish granted, this episode is from May 2018. "You can certainly try" has been said in CR over 100 times, beginning in the very first episode of C1 in 2015. Its very likely that its a reference.
@@hhylobates4098 to be fair, they are pointing out that scenes are filmed way before they are aired… however, they are forgetting that she was playing DnD with Matt long before the stream started
Kurt with Patterson: 😑
Kurt with Bill Nye: 😍
Ellie's dad officially confirmed
We all be talking about the mystery woman is her mom or not, but screw that. We found her dad!
Last of us part three is looking pretty good!
No wonder she is immune
“I can certainly try” is total Matt Mercer vibes.
Can we talk how zapata so close with patt father
The Dadabase! Lmao I’m dying. This was the most unusual turn I’ve see for a backstory. Now who do I need to bribe to get Patterson full first name.
it’s William 😭😭
So her father is just allowed to walk into the FBI's offices
If you were her boss would you stop him
Or Patterson just said Lobby Security my Dad is coming to visit please give him a visitor's pass and after a few years they just got use to it
C'mon who's going to be the one that detained Bill Nye the Science Guy?
But it's BILL NYE for crying out loud
Security Guard: "Uh, sir. I don't believe you're allowed to be down here?"
Bill: "Do you... know who I am? I'm Bill Nye. Bill Nye... *glasses come off* the science guy"
Security Guard: "Perfectly understandable sir, right this way"
hear that, critters? she can certainly try.
HOW could you delete the best part of that scene where Weller is called "a little odd" and Patterson replies "yeah"
I think the Stargate reference was my favorite in this episode, although Weller's tongue on floor was great too.
Every time she makes a CR reference I melt.
Wait so Bill Nye is playing.................himself?
So bill nye is Ellie’s dad?!😂lmao I’m jk
Anybody else notice the Stargate Atlantis reference when he referred to Dr Rodney McKay as a super nemesis
I have a bit of a critter prejudice against this show, but that scene was fun :D
You mean you're not a fan of the hit television series watched by hundreds?
"you can certainly try"
Well its true. He DOES make science fun.
As cool as this is, it creates a plot hole. Earlier in the series she said her dad was a pilot. If she really meant her stepdad they need to Re-clarify.
To be fair its a fictionalised version. Maybe this Bill got his flying licence.
Fun fact: Bill Nye worked for Boeing. She said he flew non professional, so it’s not unthinkable that Bill Nye has piloting as a hobby
There is a old video... where Bill actually flew with the airforce and experienced some strong G's. So technically the plot is right.
Yeah we had dinner once
Kurt: AND YOU DIDN’T INVITE ME!!
BILL BILL BILL BILL BILL
Curt is a secret Nerd LMFAO
That's really cool, but also WHAT?
Love Patterson! ❤
Poor Jane
I CAN CERTAINLY TRY
❤❤❤❤
0:20 NYE DOING A STAR WARS REFERENCE
0:19 JOHNSON DOING A CRITICAL ROLE REFRENCE
nicbam14 Sadly I don't watch Critical Role :/
nicbam14 Can you explain?
Critical role is an amazing dungeons and dragons show she is on and "you can certainly try." is one of the catchphrases
nicbam14 ooh. I know the point of the show, I just don't know what the reference was. Thanks!
Watching Kurt Weller being a. Fan-Boy over Bill Nye, the Science Guy, is so funny! It’s Great! Bring back Blindspot & all the amazing cast & guest stars! Hope someone in charge hears my plea! Networks are you there?!
