Torvald is the most volatile champion in terms of health, it can effectively be as low as 3300 (no cards, no items and opponents max wrecker) or as high as 9757 (max card, max veteran, max haeven, max guardian, opponents no wrecker) Middling at the default 6000
Even now, the benefits of having good Torv in your team is making other team run Wrecker, and it's 1 item slot less that could've been used for something much more useful. In lategame tho, he falls off a bit, but early and midgame is strong af and that what matters the most, because you rarely get to late game in most games.
Torvuld meta, brand new world. His recharge now recharges his full shield not 3k fyi, so it also recharges the extra you get from guardian in the same amount of time. I have been playing his alot so far and he is so fun to play, eldritch speed at 5, zooming around corners when u recharge. His ult is bugged this patch, roughly 1 out of 4 of my ults doesnt work, i hit it, it is eaten, i hear the ult but it only pushes people i would say for the first half second, then the guantlet visually bugs but despite that still having a blast

I actually picked him up once as a troll pick but ended up enjoying him despite having mediocre stats. Now he's my off tank and my highest level champion with 136 levels.

Yet jenos has had a 2.5s roots as a talent that also does 840 damage and lifts people in the air to expose them for years now and yet didn't seem to be bothered by that? Or Inara having an AoE that Cripples people as a talent, alongside reducing movement by 60% and 150dps? Litterally just buy Resilience like people have been doing for these talents for years now, simple.
Resilience, haven, life RIP should have been the first things you get. Also you need the ammo regain card at 3. I don't like the elimination cards because they are inconsistent. I think the cooldown reduction card for Nullfy is much better because it is 5 seconds total. Cas can't knock you off. You have max resilience. Also most of your deaths was due to you being CC. Your ultimate choice was correct. The window is the perfect place for his ultimate. You were a little late getting there. Haven helps protect you doing Hyper Beam. Life rip is just to keep you in the fight longer. I saw you jumping doing your ultimate.
Ive always wanted to try torvald, but his lack of movement abilities kinda turned me off to him and I went with ruckus instead. Guess its time to give him a try again
They should buff his self heal cards like they are only on activating the ability and his self shielding cards they are so weak even on lvl 5 and make the q cards apply on himself and buff the heal card because support torv it's something I want

You probably do know, but the extra shield on recharge was good if you were being shot while recharging.
It makes it so you don't lose all your shield now. If you use eldritch speed too, it guarantees an escape most times

Totally agree, tank´s my main class, so the Torv buff is awsome. He´s such a fun offtank. Still a Koa main though, but Torv´s really fun ^^

What you need to do is go Nimble, deft hands with this build and he becomes a killing machine.
Haven and Veteran are just better choices over Deft Hands.

Eldritch speed card at level 4 is a must it is like a pseudomobility
Torvald plays a lot like a support than a tank so if you play him again keep that in mind and try to keep your team with you to back you up
Eldritch Speed will make you speedy when you use it
