- Follow along with my creative process to make a new pattern for a Christmas ornament with me.
Bear with me, or skip to the end for the finished ornament. :)
Here is the associated blog post with a few more details:

I'm so glad you kept the whole process. I don't feel so bad knowing that others have to start over or fix things.
I feel like every project I make has at least one of those moments, if not several!
You've done a great job.
Thank you!
That looks awesome, I also love the music choices you made for the video.
Thanks! I'm glad you like it.
Loved the idea
Thank you
Oh, thank you for this video & pattern. Lovely!
You’re welcome 😊
lovely pattern and great instruction popups. What thread did you use?
Glad you found it! (size 30)
did you know the end of your airlite shuttle is for your bobbin when you wind it?😊
Oh my goodness, I think I knew that at one point but forgot and have been winding it funny for a few years 😂. I used to put it on my sewing machine to wind, but I haven’t had my machine set up. Thank you!
Very lovely. What size ornament are you using?
I believe it's 2.5 inches in diameter and 3 inches bottom to top. This pattern should work on a smaller ornament as well.
I got lost . Did you have the pattern written down? I could not follow it😔
I'm sorry you couldn't follow it, I tried to list the pattern throughout the video (in the colored description tags that pop up). There is a part of my process where I decided what I was creating wouldn't fit the pattern, so I cut that bit of tatting work out and there were no description tags in that section for that reason. So, when you see those colored description tags hopefully you can pause the video for that part of the pattern. I will try to write out patterns and post them to my blog in future. Thank you for watching, I hope this helps!
I see it is 30!
That's right! Haha it's been a minute, so I had to go back and watch to find out myself. Glad you could find it!!
