Today I'm going to be upgrading the storage in my MacBook Air 2014 using an NVMe SSD and an adapter you can get on Amazon.

Apparently they’re tuned for performance in a way that macOS doesn’t like. I ended up having to put it in my MacBook because the drive I used in the video failed and the only issue is heat. So I don’t know, but I personally wouldn’t have chosen it if I didn’t already have one on hand.

So this Os is not listed as supported on your macbook. is the os stable?

Yeah. It’s really easy too. There’s a tool called OpenCore Legacy Patcher that allows you to install new versions of macOS on old unsupported devices.
