Watch Once Upon A Time In Mexico Now: AAN.SonyPicture...
Leaping back into action, gun-slinging, guitar-toting hero "El Mariachi" is back in town in ONCE UPON A TIME IN MEXICO, as director Robert Rodriguez delivers the epic final chapter of his pulp Western trilogy. Starring Antonio Banderas, Salma Hayek, Johnny Depp, Mickey Rourke, Eva Mendes, Enrique Iglesias and Willem Dafoe ONCE UPON A TIME IN MEXICO is a full-frontal assault.
This film is like a fever dream of thinly connected subplots and characters with the thinnest of overarching plots holding it all together and I love it
This scene was filmed in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, (a high-tourist city and a UNESCO World Heritage Site) which is not a “favela” for whoever posted this video. A favela is a slum in Brazil.
That was my thought. The general culture of people nowadays is below any minimum, despite such an easy access to this information.
barrio ?
To compare San Miguel de Allende, Mexico to a slum is just down right uncivilized!
@@jfjsas07 depends of the country really, I lived in Europe and people were quite knowledgeable about other cultures. But in America most people have a bad knowledge of anything outside their country.
@@mielthesquid6536 I have lived in Europe in several countries and I can tell you that the level of culture here is ridiculous. From what I heard, in the US it's even worse, but that does not change the first claim.
Antonio Banderas is essentially the Spanish version of John Wick.
Absolutely!
with style
No es el. Mariachi jejeje
El Mariachi's been around longer. If anything, John Wick is the American El Mariachi
Imagine a cameo crossover of both John and the mariachi but they somehow knew each other
2003 was such a fun year for action movies
2:00 My favorite part. Those ultra-fast cut scenes are such a Robert Rodriguez trademark much like John Woo’s two pistols facing off
El Mariachi Vs Machete
a comienzos del siglo XXI (2003)
this took place in Mexico 🇲🇽 where they call neighborhoods "barrios" not "favelas" which are in 🇧🇷
I never noticed that literally only the goons are wearing sunglasses on an obviously very sunny day lol
Este es el verdadero cine de acción hispanoamericano. No las burradas de wakanda y demás producciones de inclusión forzada.
👌comentario más acertado imposible...
Every time I see Danny, it's always funny how literally not a single soul in the movie questions how the fuck dude got ressurected after getting got by the mob in the Desperado.
I just noticed that too lmao, I guess that's why he's the best hitman, he never actually dies
He is machete. Machete kills, not being killed
such an underrated action scene. fun, great sense of humor and just wild. The wilhelm scream is the chef's kiss.
El adjusting the rearview mirror always gets me.
@@Awwscrewit it's such a nice touch.
Not a favela. Maybe a barrio
3:13 Wilhelm scream
That scream was in everything
"...Since I'm a Mexican, I can do whatever I want..."
Yep, that's how it works here in my County.
3:37 omg 😂
That part😂
he is fool..
He could have gone in the same direction he was going, but he turned back.
What is very dumb in this movie is that Danny Trejo played in it. He was killed in the movie before: Desperado the 2nd part of Mariachi Trilogy
He prefers for his characters to die in movies if they are villains or something like that.
To be fair, Rodriguez does use the same actors over again in his movies, even if it is in the same movie or series. For example, Cheech Marin played 3 different roles in from dusk till dawn and I believed 2 of them died in that movie. Trejo is playing a different character just like Cheech did in that movie.
Cheech also died in Desperado and was in this movie too.
@@angelmunoz34True. It's a morality thing with him given his real life background of doing time in San Quentin when he was younger.
2:36 camión de elote
Typical. The bad guy has the protagonist right where he wants him, and instead of killing him, he knocks him out so that he can escape later 😒
Well, he said he wants the bounty on El Mariachi, the cartel wants him alive for General Marquez
3:40 danny looking like he about to F some sh*t up. and after being in san quentin and a boxing champ he plays the part very natural
I love the last scene when Ruben Blades says "See ya" to Johnny Depp's blind character. The response: Eff You. Too cool.
Danny for when they want a badass but don't wanna really do anything with him🤣
Generally... yea. That sums up most of his career.
To be fair, that's why machete is a thing. So this guy can be a badass and actually do something. Lol.
Well Macheta exists, and seems like it's somewhat based off of the "knives" character from Desperado
Well to be fair, his character in this movie was actually written for Quentin Tarantino, and was given to Trejo when Quentin had to pull out. Interestingly, Trejo actually loved it simply because it was one of the very few times he actually got a lot of dialogue.
@@jonathankozenkohe’s type cast but he’s a great actor for his niche
As Johnny Depp said, there are Mexican't in this movie! Lol
3:35 así eran los primeros video virales de youtube.
He was the Mexican John wick
Great 🎥

That long-range sawn-off shotgun shot is the stuff of legends...
Bro just respawns guns when shooting in random directions with his double barrel.
Hey I thought Danny T. got killed in the 1st film'/!!!
I know this is simply a Hollywood gunfight. However where the fuck did he pull the machine gun from?
One of the goons.
How can one find the song!? What a kick ass scene
Pistolero - Juno Reactor
@@fortminor85 Not to be that guy, but juno reactor did a bunch of remixes of pistolero. This specific version is Pistolero (Picture of man remix). Enjoy. Its my favorite remix too, maybe thats why Robert Rodriguez used it too. :D
What is Danny Trejo yelling when they give chase?
spanish: - AHÍ ESTÁ EL CABRON!! , AGARRENLO!! CABRON!!! AHÍ ESTÁ EL CABRON!! AGARRENLO!! AHÍ ESTÁ!! Y SI NO LO AGARRAN, VOY A MATAR A TU HERMANA!!-
English: -THERE IS THE F*CKER!! GRAB HIM!! F*CKER!! THERE IS THE F*CKER!! GRAB HIM!! THERE HE IS!! IF YOU ALL DON'T CATCH HIM, I'M GOING TO KILL YOUR SISTER MAN!!
I hope UA-cam don't block me for write profanities in both languages 😅😂😂😂
"There he is, bastard, catch him, there he is! and if you don't catch him I'm going to kill your sister!"
He said "cabrones alla esta" which roughly means "there he is a**holes or idiots," then he says some weird stuff. The last part he said, "voy a matar a su hermana" which means "I'm going to kill your sister."
"Get him, assholes! Grab him! There he is! And If you don't get him, I'm going to kill your brother!
Why can I not see any replies on this

Desperado is a very very good guy in the world
I’m pretty sure he got killed in Desperado.
You're right, Danny Trejo died in Desperado but he cames back without any explanation
Muito bom brazil
el mariachi should enter the marvel universe with dead pool and the punisher
leave him outside of this crap
I think Machete should

2003.
Never heard of a favela in north America. Only in south America. In Mexico and the Philippines they are called Barrios.
Robert Rodriguez is the Latino John Woo. The Mariachi Trilogy is aces. I'd love to see the gang come back for Part 4.
My friend, please, what is the name of the series?

Such a great scene!!!! 2:36
Is this the spy kids prequel? Lol jk
Only problem I've got with this is the damn Wilhelm Scream...
E muitos bom filme Manoel bandeira
Whats the song during the scene?
Can we appreciate his sleight of hand by pulling a sawed off shotgun out whilst El Cucuy eas holding onto him and no one noticed.
Damn id forgotten about that dumb bastard that ran the right way at first then changed course and decided to become roadkill at the end of this clip but this was definitely my favorite moment of the film I still like it overall but this just takes the cake for me the music and action its perfection
Ohhh he is a transformer,,shotgun transform to machine gun ..wow
you clearly didn't see he picked up a machine gun from the dead body
