So a couple rules of order I spotted with the Fate card draw at 2:46:54
First, when Activating a Track ALL movement occurs before Combat occurs. I think you may have missed this earlier in the video too, but I think this is the first time it actually mattered.
So, the move should have been resolved as follows: 1st) Stack in 6E doesn't move. 2nd) Stunned Murder Stack in 6D discards stunned marker and doesn't do anything 3rd) Murder Stack in the Spawn Zone should have moved to 6E BEFORE the combat there happened.
The Second point of order is that AFTER movement but BEFORE Combat Murder Stacks Amalgamate, which means the Stack that moved down from the Spawn Zone should NOT have picked up the Murder Stack on their way down but would have just passed by them. But it would have joined the Stack in 6E.
Finally, Combat happens last, which may have had a pretty significant impact I think. I couldn't tell exactly how many tiles were in the original stack in 6E, but it looked like four. So, during the first activation, if the other Stack joined before the combat, you would have overall taken one less damage on Bill, added one fewer Biohazard cubes to the bag, and would have been able to inflict one of the hits that was lost from the first attack because there would have been a couple of tiles left.

Good to know! This actually makes much more sense and is way easier to admin when you've got a situation with so many things happening on one track. Awesome, thank you!

but whats happen with stack in 6D ? after the stack from spawn amalgamate in 6E and attacks, then the sec activation happens, the stack from 6D move also to 6E and amalgamate to a big stack and attacks ?

Yes, on the second activation the Stack in 6D would move to 6E and amalgamate with whatever was left with that stack.

First off, I want to say that I found your channel because I'm the developer for Plum Island Horror and monitor all of the notifications on the BGG page. So your unboxing pinged me and then I watched a bunch of your other videos and really enjoy your style.
Second, first rule mistake that I noticed happened when you spawned the Wild Eyed rats around 1:11:00 "lowest lettered" is closest to A not furthest down track so it should have spawned in 6B. :) I agree that if it was the way that you played it, it would definitely be not fun ;)

Hello Ken, and thank you! I recognize you from reading the BGG forums the past few days. The worst part is that I definitely recall a thread where you specifically pointed out this is a common mistake. d'oh! 😅I had just assumed it was bad luck from drawing a 6, but that doesn't make sense... I blame my terrible loss in part to that and now have a scapegoat. 🤣 Thanks for the help! Maybe I will get better at this one day and be able to win!

This is why I can't stop thinking about The Plum Island Horror - it's the exact kind of thing I love. Solid mechanics with a emergent narrative.

Hey CeePhour! Thanks again for doing such a wonderfully comprehensive playthrough video and thanks for all the kind comments. And I see that Ken Kuhn, developer extraordinaire for this design, has already commented on the rules issues - thanks Ken! Once again, so glad you are enjoying the experience of the game. We set out to create this design so that it would generate fun and narrative, while also being a challenging "game". So happy that its working for you in those regards. All the best and great channel!

You definitely succeeded in your mission. The wild stories that come out of this game are fantastic, and framed by solid rules (even when I mess them up!) make The Plumb Island Horror a winner! Thank you!

Thanks! I agree, it's a blast. I can't imagine how insane it gets with four players (or four handed, which would be my case).

3:39 I would suppose not adding the starting info for certain units to the board *might* allow for those units to start on other spaces in a forthcoming expansion or alternate mode of play....

Ah, good call. That makes perfect sense. I was thinking last night that a single red dot (like the one for civilians, but red) would suffice for the setup damage-2 markers, but I suppose I should hold off until I see what the expansion says. :)

@@CeePhour Yes, we wanted to keep things a agile as possible for the scenario setups that are coming in the expansion :)

after we rescued all the civilians by round four, maybe was round five if I remember we lost interest it’s like why are we still playing this and we still had half the game to go still which was gonna be another two hours?
