    You are one of the better instructors I've seen on You Tube. You move at a very easy pace to follow and don't waste a lot of time talking nonsense, like some videos do. You get right to the point and record perfectly! Thank you. I now feel I can actually make a beautiful bow.

  • @sandrapudoff
    @sandrapudoff 10 років тому

    Gorgeous bows! Should you shorten the length when using narrower ribbon? Starting with a 7/8" ribbon and it seems rather floppy compared to the 1 1/2" one I did. I still used 24". Is there a formula somewhere?

    To make my ribbons stay in place and not slide I had a little of hot glue to the inside of the clip. It gives it that rubber like grasp.

    @SherylandFam  12 років тому

    I actually don't like to do that. You have to use 1/2" more ribbon and it's really not necessary. Plus sometimes hair gets caught there and you end up pulling the poor childs hair or messing up their hair from pulling it out. But everyone has their own way of making bows. This is just the way I choose. Experience helps you make the bows that work best for you.
