- I need a microphone for dubbing my videos but did not want to spend too much. Morantz has an excellent reputation for quality and this particular microphone was within my budget. I bough it through Amazon.
Do watch to the very end as I recorded my own voice, with a mid Atlantic accent, imitating the well known early voice recording by Thomas Edison. I made adjustments to that sound clip in Final Cut Pro in order to "age" the recording. - Навчання та стиль
Good morning Peter I really appreciate all your videos and it is so much appreciated when you explain things like this, the equipment used to make you the number one presenter on UA-cam.
Hi Derek, Thank you so much - it has made my day. Cheers. Peter
Thanks for the video Peter & the classiest microphone stand I have ever seen! 😍👏👏👏👏
Hi David, What I did not show was the weight inside. Years ago we had a car which required a huge socket (as in socket set) to remove the oil filter. It cost a lot but was justified as I was then doing my own servicing. It had been sitting at the bottom of a drawer in the workshop for a very long time and so I made the stand such that the socket would just fit inside. Cheers. Peter

Hi Marcos, Thank you so much - brilliant. Cheers. Peter
And when "our" Peter Parfitt tells you, don't be doubtful. For you can take it to the bank; and it will NOT bounce, ever. GAR-OWN-TEED!. Thank you kind Sir. And take care Peter.
Hi Pat, Thank you so much. Take care. Cheers. Peter

Very good work on the stand, looks very nice.
I would like to suggest adding felt (I don't know if it is the right word) or some soft material feet, for conductivity noise dampening. The best would be to have the microphone on a suspension but it is a different subject I guess…
Condenser microphones have a very bright sound, but also have a tendency to capture the room reverberation and noises. They sound great but are harder to master…
Do you use a pop filter with it?
I will be getting a pop filter. Cheers. Peter
oh, You still have X-Carve CNC machine :D You absolutely must get 3d Printer and test it ! :-) greetings from Poland
Yes, the X-Carve is doing well and I use it a lot. Often for very simple things that only take a few minutes to make with a CNC but would be very tricky to make any other way. I would love to get a 3D printer but they are quite expensive. Cheers. Peter
@@NewBritWorkshop for example Creality Ender 3 is enough for many hobby projects and its very low cost now, about 230 euro, gives a lot of fun and practice. Good luck! 🍀
I am trying to get your plans for the Parf system table that you just developed. Your “best one yet”. I cannot find your business email to facilitate this
Hi John, In order to get plans I need your email address. To find my email address go to my main UA-cam page, click the "About" tab and that leads to my email address. I am told this has to be done on a PC. Cheers. Peter
