True! SAM would be epic to make🤩. However we don't want to limit ourselves to just Star Rail cosplays. (Difficult, because we're currently both so into the game) We still haven't decided on our next build after Gepard &Natasha...
That tiered sleeve fins things...omg. I'm having the worst headache of my life figuring that out 😭 Did you sew them directly to the sleeve or are they detachable? Also.. would it be too much for me to ask you for your patterns? Just for the 3-tiered pieces would be of great help. Regardless, good job on making this costume!!
Hi! Yes, I can definitely relate to the headache. TBH I'm still not completely satisfied with my end result, but I think it's the closest you can get to the game version. Its not detachable, I made it separate and sewed the completed version onto the actual sleeve of the jacket. I have some sort of a pattern, but made so many alterations along the way. if you DM us on instagram, I can send you some pictures of my starting pattern and some close ups. Just hang in there, keep making adjustments until you're satisfied. Rome wasn't build in a day and this sleeve isn't either. But if you get it to work, it's really worth all the effort, headaches and frustration. Promise!☺
@@ZenshinCosplay thank you, you're so kind!! messaged you on IG. for real, good work on the whole cosplay!! I have nothing but utmost respect for you taking on such a complex cosplay design!
Thank you! Pattern making isn't easy. I wouldn't recommend to start with this one. I struggled quite a bit to get it right. If you do want to learn how to draw patterns, all you need is paper, pencil and something easy that fits you. Like a shirt or dress. Just try to copy the different pattern pieces and try to figure out how each section connects. We all started out not knowing how to do something. Would you be interested in a video about pattern making in general?
You guys are really getting into it ❤
Thanks! We tried to cover as much as we could. Gepard's such a cool project to work on. Are you planning on building a Gepard cosplay? 🙂
@@ZenshinCosplay there a lot of cool characters in HSR but right now, SAM is the most bad@ss of them all
