This DRT Segway Villain SX10/W Front Winch Bumper replaces the stock OEM bumper; (Gen 1 & Gen 2) versions. The bumper is constructed from laser-cut steel that is formed and welded to provide the ultimate protection to your SXS. Like all DRT products, this bumper is easy to customize with removable laser-cut mesh inserts and logo plates.

I just installed mine. My thoughts: I guess my car must be newer, because I didn't need the frame extenders at all-- Segway had welded those brackets to the frame already. It was a little confusing at first. I think you guys took apart more of the factory bumper than you needed to-- It comes out in one big hunk with the winch still attached, nice and easy. You'll need to remove the front belly plate if you have one to get to the middle bottom bolt on the bumper assembly, but no big deal. If you have a tap/die set its good to clean up the threads on everything since its been painted. If I were to do this installation again, I could do it in no time! Nothing difficult at all. As for the bumper and grill, the fit and finish is astoundingly good. Everything lines up exactly and feels very solid. Its really a nice product and I'm glad I got it. I did a synthetic winch rope while I was at it and its best to do that work while the bumper is off but the winch is on. I suggest a new fatter winch-block/stopper to keep the hook from scratching up the bumper (I got a heavier bigger hook on my rope). Thanks DRT!

@@herbf2700 Thanks for the feedback and glad you’re enjoying your DRT bumper! There was a 2024 mid-year revision on the front section of the frame that affected bumper fitment. We include a bracket set for each application to ensure the bumper fits all vehicles before and after the revision. Sorry for the confusion!
