Honestly these days people forget that cases aren’t meant to stay perfect on your devices especially if you are the type of person that is clumsy and drop it all the time. And these days $50 is mid range for a phone case if you get a Spigen ultra hybrid T is $30 and that is a great case but it will turn yellow when this one will not. It’ll looks like it did it’s purpose of protecting the phone. Two years ago I had my iPhone 14 Pro Max with an Apple silicone case on drop from a second story deck and dropped on pavers and it survived. People don’t think it when looking and feeling an Apple case that is isn’t a solid case but it really is including how these phones are built these days.
might as well do a front test. Jeez luis if someone dropped their phone as much as you did on the video, I'd say just get an otter box or a mous case. Surprised it stayed intact for all the drops. Good video
@@jaydanielstech Thanks a lot mate had been looking for a black borderless one that fits nicely with the Apple silicon case for a long time. Will definitely try it now. 😁
As a former Apple Genius I can tell you there no tests Apple can run to detect any microscopic damage like that. The most likely damage from this test would be to camera stabilization, but all is working properly still. At the end of the day I have Apple Care, so if I actually broke anything I’m a small deductible away from being back to good as new 😊
Hi I dropped my phone a a couple of times from a height of 140cm it’s an iPhone 16 pro I have the same clear case I just wanted to know would that cause any damage to the internal parts of the phone?
The most likely damage would be to the Cameras/camera stabilization. The actual internals like battery, logic board, etc. are all super tightly packed in there and screwed down.
True. Most likely would be damage to the camera stabilization, but it’s working fine at this point. I have Apple Care so felt pretty safe dropping my phone. 🤓
@@egygamesstore4618 That’s good to hear. My next video is a yellowing test with 8 different clear cases, the Apple Clear case is one of them, interested to see how it does!
Hello sir, I am a high school student. I am using an old Android phone that is not capable of supporting online classes properly. Would it be possible for you to provide me with a smartphone to support my studies?
@jaydanielstech But genuinely, I use an old Samsung J7 Pro, which is around 8 or 7 years old. It's okay, sir. I just thought of asking you for help. :)
The purpose of a case is to protect your phone. Not the case itself. 100% worth the money I think. Your phone is intact. Thanks for the video.
60$ for a case IS NOT worth it 💀
@@Foxy-ll8znthe case is a good case, not for anything close to $60 though.
you can get a similar case for 10-20$
well you paying for a phone thousand of dollars. 50 dollars ain't bad of investment
Yeah, just get the Ugreen case for 1/5th of the price. It's literally the same.
Respect for Jay Daniels risking their own personal iPhone for that. 💀R.I.P iPhone integrity

Can’t believe it’s that durable, nice.
It’s my fave case always pretty durable
Hey man, I ordered a case for my 16 pro from TAC with your code, but I’ve had no updates. Ordered like over a month ago
Hey, that sucks. I would start with emailing their support team.
@@jaydanielstechI did 2 weeks ago but never got a reply
@@FederateERLCI emailed them. Send them a new one, they should see it.

😅 thanks! Yep, if someone is dropping their phone this much I 100% recommend checking out cases like Mous and Phone Rebel
That’s tougher than the silicone one…
Surprised Apple doesn’t make something tougher/longer lasting than these two options
Can you mention which screen protector you’re using please?
Spigen 👍
@@jaydanielstech Thanks a lot mate had been looking for a black borderless one that fits nicely with the Apple silicon case for a long time. Will definitely try it now. 😁
If you had a spigen clear case, in real life usage you’d probably have to replace it due to the horrendous yellowing before even dropping your phone 😂
I think I need to conduct a anti-yellowing clear case experiment 👨🏻🔬
An expensive piece of plastic
I would still go to the Apple Store after dropping your phone so many times. The case is not shock absorbing and many internal things can be affected.

Great video! Can you please do it for Supcase UB mag and Spigen Ultra T as well?
I’ll add it to my list!
Actually it is better then I expected from this case. Thanks for the video :)
@@sevecc Same here, better than I thought it would be!
You’re brave, fam. Real brave 🤝
It's pretty good that the cracks of the case mean it's taking the impact and covert impact energy to protect the phone 😮
For real! I was impressed with the protection it actually provided, even though the case is now in pretty bad shape 😊
Great yt recommendation, my guy put his phone on the line to test the case 🔥👍
can you do it with apple silicone cover?

Thanks for your efforts

The issue is that there is no way to know what type of internal damage may be happening to the phone by dropping it so many times.
