I agree with Tee, this case is slippery. I’m sad that I’m going to have to return it for that reason. Something else that wasn’t mentioned in the video, if you’re someone that likes to swap out your case often, this case is very difficult to get off the phone in my opinion. Hopefully these two things will be improved on the next gen. I prefer the Spigen frost black case. Although it doesn’t offer the same protection and has weaker MagSafe, it’s half the price and has way better grip. Looks really nice also. Hope this helps someone out there.
Received mine today after it was out in the wrong mailbox yesterday! Loving the feel of this! Very smooth but not slick! I feel comfortable holding this case! The titanium button are a nice touch! The buttons don’t stick out much when viewing the phone upfront! The bottom corner bumpers are smooth and minimal! Overall this case is very tactile looking with the feeling of a smooth silicone you get all around the case 360! I give this case a 10/10!

Your reviews prompted me to finally try one of these Phone Rebel cases, just got the frosted Gen 4 in the mail today, and the hype on these is definitely warranted. Easily my favorite case. The little grip texture on the sides of the Gen 5 coming is definitely an upgrade, though I don't find this really "slippery", however if they would make the back "feet" covered in the same material as the front it would be pretty much perfect case for me, to make it more "non-skid". The front is pretty grippy on slick surfaces like glass and fiberglass, the back not so much, which is something I really look for in a case. But this is so nice I'll live with it, just lay it face down when I need to and not go sliding like a wet bar of soap. Phone Rebel make the back feet non-skid!
Got mine today with the buttons. You are right! They need a install frame for the protector! And man it’s hard to get the phone in. But once in..I love it with the buttons!! Ended up tossing the protector away. No install frame lol

I feel the same way about the Frosted Rebel Flex 14! I just got mine in the mail yesterday. And I absolutely love it! You should do a video about that case!
I bought the frosted case without the MagSafe because I didn’t want to wait and I don’t use MagSafe as much as I used to. Now I really like the way the mag safe looks. I also have the aramid GEN 4 case but I’m not sure if I wanna invest another 40 something dollars plus the titanium buttons on one with MagSafe.

I didn't upgrade to the 14 but I bought another Frosted case from Phone Rebel a few months back and the sides near the power button got loose and exposing the bezel after like 3 months. It's a shame since it's my number 1 case.
Hope they improved it for the 14 since they did made the Flex series more sturdy since the 13 version was prone to breaking when taking your phone out of it.
Love the case. But the camera bump is kinda nonexistent. Every time I put it down there is always a bunch of dirt on the lenses. Wish there were feet on all 4 sides of the back to protect the camera
JUST FYI for everyone.
If you have an installation frame from another brand of screen protector for the 14 pro, keep it and use it to apply this screen protector, that's what I did and it installed perfectly. It was the QHOHQ brand protector for the 14 pro.
I love this case. I have this one, the Rebel and the frosted flex.. Over all, the frosted Flex is the best one for the grip / comfort to hold category.

I got the same combo with the titanium buttons too. Just wanna know does your case power button a bit loose? Mine can move a little bit up and down, looks like the button is smaller than normal
Ordered my rebel aramid with their new sale where you get the titanium buttons for free with the promo code. Just a note to anyone else, the buttons come in a very small ziplock package apparently and I didn’t even notice it and ended up throwing it in my recycle

Just received my frosted Rebel case. I prefer this look over the carbon weave version. One thing I noticed is that the magnet strength of the frosted one is slightly weaker than the carbon weave case, which is pretty strong. Fit is awesome. Just wished the sides had a bit more grip.
I prefer this one over the carbon one too, the carbon is a fingerprint magnet and it bothers me a lot haha I wish he would make one like Matte black like otterbox

I bought the Rebel when it first came out and ended up returning it something about it didn’t do it for me. Fast forward to this week I order the frosted and they goofed and sent me another Rebel we I place another order for a frosted and was just going to keep both and give the Rebel another shot. Well I got my Frosted yesterday and this things not coming off my phone. The Rebel will be going back.
Man the frosted is so good and that’s saying slot because I move the Rebel.
I have to agree on the Gen 3 frosted case issue with the ring. I even bought a second, thinking I had just received faulty a case. The second one did the same. Hoping Gen 4 is better.

I have been loving my frosted gen4 on my deep purple with the titanium buttons. This just might be a perfect case. Awesome tactile buttons, great fit, protective but not bulky. Awesome. As usual love your reviews! Nicely detailed with some great comments and callouts. 💪

I have had phone rebel cases for a bit now. My 13 pro max was in a clear version and fell about 10 feet and not even a scratch to the phone.
I’d absolutely buy it if I didn’t already have the aramid fiber version. 😅

I just ordered this because of this video. I do have to be honest, I have had every version of his cases, I had just started out with UAG on my 14 Pro Max. It’s too heavy, so back to Phone Rebel
So after I dropped my 14 pro with the synthesis at waist height and the whole back shattered and costed me 500 dollars. I threw it in the trash now I have the andar aspen for at home you know what ever mood I’m in my case for work is the mouse 5.0 which I really really like idk what it is but I love it I’m waiting on my frosted rebel to get here. The mouse 5.0 feels good in hand plus I know the protection is there. Protection is a big deal brother big big deal it’s the whole point of a case first and foremost.
That sucks for sure but protection all depends on how you drop your device. Everything Apple Pro dropped tested the synthesis from 50ft and it survived. Just something that’s hard to measure.
I usually buy the Frosted Phone Rebel and use it for a while, but then I eventually pop on the aramid fiber version again and remember how much nicer it feels then never go back to the frosted.
This year I’m just sticking with the Gen 4.

I’m so sad they don’t make this for the iPhone 12 Pro Max. 🥺🥺 I’ll definitely have to try this one if I upgrade my phone in the next year.
BEAUTIFUL CASEEEI was gonna go with this but I was not sure if it can stand up to many of my wiping routine. I wipe my phone with CaviWipes (basically alcohol and ammonium chloride) 10-15 times a day and I fear that it will hasten the deterioration of the case. Not to mention, this case is 98 dollars in Canada. So, I went with Caudabe because a coworker of mine recommended it. Will see how it holds up. If it does not, this might be next on my money-burning list
When I get some spare money I’m definitely going to check this case out. Your reviews are always on point and you keep it 💯 on iPhone cases.

I used the case for about four days and when I went to remove it the bottom piece of the magnet came off. Guess the issue is not resolved with this generation either. Hopefully something they can figure out with Gen 5. Besides that a great case.

I just got my frosted phone rebel fourth GEN out of the mailbox. Unfortunately, there were some delays in shipping because of the storms in the southwest in the Midwest, but my first impression of this case is wow. I think this will be my new daily case, and I love what I see so far. I will say one thing, the buttons on the phone, rebel, case, or better than any other case are old And that’s saying something, especially since I have to Kadhava Schiess, and one Kadambi synthesis.

This review made me check out the site and see they have a Sierra Blue Crystal option which I might have to cop (just saw your old videos on this but missed them previously). I love the Alpine and Sierra Blue colors which is the whole reason to get a clear case. I'm currently using a Mous Infinity with a Sierra Blue MagSafe ring but the sides of the case have begun to yellow. Might have to get the Rebel!

I just got the frosted gen 4. Fits like a glove. A great case. But as you probably already mentioned. Grip is not there.
Another thing worth mentioning for everyone that has been thinking about it.
If you have a deep purple like me and you wanna show off that color then you wanna get something else. As much as I love the frosted, the color is gone and all i see is this silvery frosted color 😁 otherwise, im really liking the case.

I ordered my Flex frosted case when they opened orders. Which was last Friday and a week later it got delivered this morning! £14 for shipping was pretty reasonable in my opinion
I bought the clear one and the magnet comes off often and the sides are loose on the phone. My phone cracked in this case when dropping from waist height. The flex series was more efficient.

I've been watching your videos like million times to find the perfect case for my phone and your videos have the most complete review of them all! And I think I will choose this beast even though it will cost me nearly $100 (before tax). Anw is it possible for us to see how the deep purple iphone looks in this case? It seem two difference matte texture on both of these case..the latest version have matte with smooth nice texture..The old version have a rough matte texture easily accumulate dust on it..
Got this case it’s amazing. I also got the titanium rainbow buttons for the case, and unfortunately for some reason the volume down slot doesn’t work. I’ll the put the phone in the case with the buttons and I can’t press the volume down button like it’s stuck. I’m not sure if it’s a defect or what, but slightly disappointed

Update on my case i bought frosted case phone rebel i bought this for my iphone 14 pro and pro max this case is extremely slippery i love the case it looks nice but man it falls out of my hand so much i need something with grip
I usually go for clear cases so this one has me intrigued.. I have the Gen 4 aramid fiber on now so at the very least I'm gonna look into those buttons. After finishing the video.. the smudges might make me switch over later 🤣
Yeah it’s going to be personal preference to which one you like, both are great but for sure check out the buttons.
Rebel case gen 3. Two times and after 2 months of use they bend a little curve at the power button. Very bad sides although I love the claws and the mag strength.
The sides on the Gen 4 is a lot more sturdy than the Gen 3.

Yeah the cases comes out in waves with them. Would be dope if they were all released and then you should choose exactly which model you want.
@@TechnicallyTee Oh I knew about it. I'm just impatient. haha I will say, the buttons on the Gen 4 are easily the BEST buttons ever. My favorite case right now is actually a Ringke Fusion-X with an ESR MagSafe ring on the back. I love their Onyx too, but there's something satisfying about using the Fusion-X!
For the S22 U I'm using the Ringke FX Camo and it does a great job

Numer 1 issue I don't buy Rebel cases is the grip, they're little bit slippery, i prefer cases like the Dbrand grip, Caudabe or even the Gripzilla. Everything about Rebel cases are perfect but the grip :/

You’re going to be able to the color but it’s cut a little because of the frosted back.
Looks like an awesome case. But shipping fees are ridiculous, for example if a want to order it to Sweden shipping costs is 18$🤯

Just got both new flex series in and ordered this one after watching your review 😂 😅. This was my favorite case on the 13 pro max
Love the frosted but after 2 days there was a massive scratch on the back where it stripped the frosted material off. Idk how it happened, I never dropped it. Im just too picky to deal with it. It was driving me nuts so i ended up returning it. Its a shame because everything else about the case was A1. The slipperyness never bothered me just because the design was so well crafted it just fit my hand so well.
Anyone else have the same problem with the frosted material scratching up real bad?
Yes it does happen quite often sadly. Even the interior frosting will etch off if you swap cases often, simply from the steel side rubbing on it.

I think it's about the same thickness but don't quote me. Might have to start measuring how thick the cases are.

Another great review bro💪💯 I got the Red edition Gen 3 for my 13 Pro Max from your review and I been wanting one of the other versions to get as well. The Flex or one of the clear ones. Does the frosted case have better grip than the all clear version & which one of those 3 would you recommend?
Yeah the frosted has more grip that the crystal imo and it’s about on par with the fiber Rebel.

Bought a cadaube sheth cause of your recommendations, the magsafe strength is absolutely crap. Its so weak that my magsafe battery is going off by a really gentle touch.
