Thank you for the video. Do you recommend any particular 1-1/2in hole saw bit for drilling through the cinder block wall (trying to install the V2+ version)
Yes, there is a reset spring in the hydrant that will close the valve even without pressure. You'll want to remove the check valve from the hose connector to allow for the most flow.
A rarely clear and thorough video. Thx.
any videos showing how you do this with brick houses or cement block?
Is there an installation video to be installed on brick and to copper instead of pex?
Thanks for the suggestions, we'll try to make one soon!
I just saw you did at the end of the video . Thanks
Cool thanks now i can put mine in this weekend

Just make sure to choose a bit intended for masonry - no specific brands that we recommend.
Would this system work on a gravity water system instead of pressurized water from a house?

will the reduction have an effect on water pressure?
It may have reduced the flow a bit, but not anything noticeable.

Why didn't you use a 90° shark bite?
Either option would work great here. The ProPEX fittings are lower in cost, but require the tool.
The original hose bib was 3/4". Don't like that you stepped it down to 1/2".
What does a job like this cost roughly?
Labor rates vary a lot by plumber and region, but we'd estimate about 45 min to 1.5 hours in service time.
In and out in 30 to 45 minutes tops
Could you add the complete list of materials, including the type of tools you used?

I’d have to cut holes in my living room and master bedroom wall to install this faucet. Additional expense. Ugh
You don’t need to use pex pipe you can connect to copper all they you to do is waste more money ugh
Home was a mix of copper + PEX from a remodel. Either would work great.
