I'm now officially convinced there is no possible way that tech news can get any funnier.
Battery health has always been a downside for apple for years but people are starting notice it degrade as people are keeping their iphones for longer now.
It’s normal for battery to degrade depending upon how u use it and expose…my iPhone 12pro was excellent for 3 years and then started to slow down in endurance time..then it’s clear to replace it …
I plan to replace my iPhone 13 Pro Max battery once it’s degraded too much. Don’t plan to get a new phone till MAYBE iPhone 17
I’ve never had battery degradation issues. Plus isn’t it only $50 for a replacement?
My 13pm is a battery hog dies too quickly

Gonna be interesting when Solid State batteries make it to the phone market. Should bring much higher energy density (more capacity in the same volume of space) for much longer life, and be less prone to battery degradation due to heat.

The metal case on the battery makes zero difference. Wireless charging is all about the wire coil in the back glass.

tbh the overheating issue is not just about the battery. Apple should definitely focus more on motherboard cooling so the phone won’t dim the screen on a 27 degrees sunny day😅

I have the iPhone 14 Pro and it has poor battery life, screen scrolling problems and some other bugs and random overheating. Should I trade in to the the 15 Pro Max or keep the 14 Pro and instead get a cheaper 13 Pro from eBay or parallel importer store, or wait for the 16 Pro?

I hope Vision Pro doesn’t go the way of AirPower. Y’all remember that. I’m still vexed about it.
Ok but nothing about the leak or your logic suggests this could improve battery chemistry. Further, batteries expand and contract depending on the battery environment. MAYBE thermals could improve, but once the battery does heat up, you have a buildup of pressure in the phone. I expect this to increase component prices and reduce device longevity
