I think you have a fine layout planned! It should be real pretty when everything is up and growing. I agree with you, zinnias are beautiful, so many different colors and sizes to pick from. ❤
I grew crackerjack marigolds this year. I grew from seed in milk carton ( winter sewing) in March. I am in zone 5b. They are so beautiful now end of August. They are around 2 feet tall really pretty orange and yellow.
Two flowers to try next year, hollyhocks in the back roll. They grow 6' - 8' and bloom June - August (during the heat of summer) they have that open bell shape bees love. And for the front roll, sweet alyssum. They're less than a foot tall and make a spreading mound. And I tell you, that for me, there is no sweeter smelling flower. Most people call it honey scented not that it smells like honey but when you smell them it reminds you of the similar sensation you get when you taste honey. I haven't planted any since moving down to Florida but back home in the mountains of Virginia and Tennessee (I've lived many years in both states) I loved to plant sweet alyssum around the porches. It made summertime porch sitting a pure pleasure. 👵🏻

Ooh, thank you, thank you! Writing those suggestions in my journal right now! ❤️
I have always used Espoma Flower-tone when I could find it. Its a good balanced fertilizer for flowers.
Thank you for the recommendation!!
I can totally relate... Me and flying bugs have a love-hate relationship... Where's the bug zapper!?!? lol
They will NOT leave me alone this spring. I’m starting to wonder if they’re attracted to my green coveralls. 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
Do u think you can give us a garden tour when everything is all growing?😅
Absolutely! ❤️ can’t wait!!
