- In this video I challenged myself to survive as the KORATHOS a Kaiju-like creature. I must start as a baby Korathos and try to grow and survive to an elder in the Sonarian World! Watch to see if I manage to grow and survive! Thanks for watching!

Being with henry isn't cheating it is actually called a symbiotic relationship as you offer the brequewk protection while it offers you support in healing.
I agree. Besides, you're not responsible for the actions of others. I have to say though, taking food that was offered shouldn't count as cheating either. There's a difference between the food that spawns and the food offered.
@@mck0027 Yeh you should be able to eat all food that is not dropped by the spawners (dead creatures) even if you find some randomly because that is scavenging.

Fun fact; kora has all 3 types of attacks, tail whip, bite, breath, the tail whip is activated when u move and attack at any point so if u want to attack with bite you will need to stand still

@@adybhatt3443 C, as far as I know, is the ability button, and breaths are a type of ability.
The ability is life drain whenever someone’s damage that’s near you and not in your pack it will absorb life from it every 10 seconds

I think the thing that Henry was with you it's not actually bad? I mean, that creature nature is heal other creatures so, it's actually doing his natural work I guess? Also it's normal to small creatures being close to the enormous ones to be save ^^ (sometimes it works XD)

The hitboxes are messed up but not that much when moving the tail whip attack attacks behind you and when standing still your bite hits in front of you

I'm not all that sure, but i am 99% sure that the Korathos that came out of the dune's cave where the crab and hellion went was probably me. I was surviving there with my friend where there was an unlimited food source. I saw a Korathos there when I came out of the cave because I was practicing in case there was a Volcanic Eruption. So, maybe that was me. There is a 99.99999% chance that is me. Probably was. There was No crab or hellion warden-they probably left the area or killed each other.
Here is a tip if you got korathos: if your a baby don't go to oasis they will target you

@@raveneditszzprobably because if you turn elder your really a big threat
imo they should make scavenging a bit harder, perhaps making it so shortly after a creature dies, the food becomes less and less filling until it goes to rotting, encouraging people to get fresh kills and making it not so easy to live off of scavenging, because even when you dont eat spawner food, its really easy from player carcasses

If they do that it's going to be hard to play as a carnivore also recode is proving to be challenging for everyone so yeah.
@@georeljackson6006 incredibly easy for me personally but alright, food spawners exist everywhere and tbh they should be removed entirely, and ribs should be nerfed severely to only support small babies that cant hunt yet. And as far as mijus and the like you just have to be more cautious about them, and living in desert or tundra is good as footprints easily contrast with the floor. Kinda sounds like you just sit in oasis in main game and havent played much of recode or are trying to play recode like main game, that is one easy way to become dinner. If you want to be safe from mijus and the like just hide in small tunnels as smaller critters, or just dont lay down as a behemoth so they dont get a big advantage on the jump, also some remote spots for creatures in between.

Personally I feel like Korathos is overpowered because it has the highest weight in game and has tail head and ranged attacks
It can be if you know how to use it. The tail attack can be very useful to kill ankle biters and fliers, but it can also be very annoying since it doesn't let you chase creatures.

man, korathos is a victim of every other big creature, principally if you're not adult, even that i use korathos, i get killed in some seconds by the giant crab creature (i forgot the name)

There was a part that made my feel sad,19:35 made me feel sad because the little poly reminded you of little bobby, your friend and companion u grew up with when your growing your gnolrock, its kinda sad because seeing someone that looks like the one you miss is sad.

Its infuriating to see Zoto struggle with attacking creatures with the "bad hitblx" when its just a tail attack. I would recommend doing some research on the many creatures to come so you know what they can and can't do.

Maybe a challenge to kill 3-5 tier 4+ creatures as hiko? I've tried this and it's not the hardest if you play right (I've killed Hygos, crabs and a empi due to its high toxin)

I think something they could have done is making korathos a semiacuatic, I mean, it's a kaiju with tentacles and something, it could have been a kinda big semiacuatic but a really cool one
It will also make growing this creature much easier.
i think that was for balancing purposes mainly, generally semi are less strong then terrestrials because they can escape via the water while terrestrials cant, terrestrials are a bit stronger to make up for having no escape via water

Karatos Is so op! I never knew it had such an op ability (life leach) and so much weight giving more of an advantage
It's too slow to even use it's abilities and the breath doesn't do a lot of dmg anyways and it need more speed edit: kora can only kill the creatures that's big and slow like king, crab and gram etc and really weak to fliers

I remember when this vid came out. I had an Xbox back then. I watched this and was super interested. unfortunately, I had an Xbox and Cos wasn't out for it.
cut forward to a few months ago. I now have a pc, and craved evolution games when I remembered this video playing.
