Thank you! I'm not sure if the ending part before it loops back to the beginning sounds good though, but i have tried to change that melody many times and i was never truly satisfied with it. I guess sometimes it's better to move on and accept what you were able to do rather than constantly focusing on little things like that and worrying about it.

There's always an element of uncertainty when you're still in the process of writing and after everything is done you learn to tolerate whatever decisions you've made.

this music is really great i understand why we wait a long time every time you post a new music all this time working on a music to make it perfect! my favorite part this music 1:04 - 1:30 I like this part because it reminds me of Dm Dokuro's Cave Story remix (Cave Story Arranged - Running Hell) at some point in this music we can hear the same background music
Tbf it has more to do with the overall sound of NES and its expansion chips, such as VRC6 that was used for Shovel Knight's ost. None of the instruments in my songs were ever made in mind with Shovel Knight's sound design which was more minimalistic when it came to usage of noise channel and drums in general. While i was always inspired by Jake Kaufman's work among many other composers, the only time when i was directly inspired by Shovel Knight's soundtrack was back in 2017 when i wrote Approaching Your Fate, though even then the inspiration had more to do with the melodies, chord progressions and an overall feeling, other then trying to replicate the sound design faithfully.
@@nu11_ft I didn’t really think you intentionally tried to make it sound like Shovel Knight. With my music, despite it being a wholly original idea, it ends up sounding like Pokemon and Sonic. Regardless of your intentions, this definitely sounds like Shovel Knight. 😂 I don’t know what to tell you! It’s not an insult though, it’s definitely a compliment. That OST is damn near untouchable.

The bassline and upper notes are very subtle, but add a sense of progression otherwise not noticed.
