Hey Matt , ✋ If you want to keep the fairing on the rover to stay intact when dropping. There’s a option on the fairing where you can remove staging. So it wouldn’t separate itself.
Awesome view of a..."Kerbal-ified"...? Perseverance mission! Idea I had for a KSP video: you seem to enjoy making space stations and SSTOs (looking at your channel history ;P). However, you rarely seem to use the stations unless you're expanding them, and I think you did a resupply mission once (and still expanded). So anyway, here's my idea, and hear me out: what if you were to try to get everywhere in the Kerbol system, but here's the catch: the vehicle can ONLY have the ∆V to get into low Kerbin orbit. Oh, and no drill, either. Once there, refuel using a space station, and try to make your way through the whole star system that way. Also: you CAN land and use surface bases to refuel, as well. You just can't refuel using a drill. It HAS to be pre-launched resources.
@@n1elkyfan Yeah, I guess it would be a bit of a long video, wouldn't it? Plus, it'd be nice to actually see the stations launch, so yeah, you're right

I remember one person on your Discord server who tried to build a station around one and after i believe 2 or 3 launches it just exploded when the comet moved slightly after they timewarped. I hope squad can fix this in an update because comets are REALLY big and having a station around one would look way better than even a large E-class asteroid. as always, great vid Matt and keep up the great work! :))
