      Sorry about your stolen boat but I'll bet you can find a used Jon boat again for a good price (just not yet because all used boat prices are crazy right now).

      @@tntcichlids8015 I think it would be way higher than a used Jon boat. Personally, I love the classic Boston Whaler Sport 15 (1980-1994). They make incredible shallow water boats and hold their value better than just about any boat (Hewes holds their value great too). The thing that makes the classic sport 15 so great is they are simple, unsinkable and stable. Also, they are very light weight and don't require much water to float. ua-cam.com/video/UoabHKc370o/v-deo.html

    Im looking for a boat to fish inshore as well as i have a family of 5 i really want one of these boats probably would get a 21 ft would you advise getting one of these or a 21 ft bay

    • @LazyLocations
      @LazyLocations  Рік тому

      For a family of 5 I'd probably get a Pathfinder but if I was firm on a flat's boat (Hewes) I'd probably go bigger. that being said, the seating is still about the same. Just more room on the 21.

    I have a 2020 RF18 set up basically the same as yours and i love mine... As you said the ride is great and that 115 pushes it nicely

    Looks like a nice clean boat. Your son should be gracious to have access to this for fishing on the intracoastal, etc.

    You own my two favorite models of boats...Whaler and the Hewes. I have an 11 ft Whaler, but I don't own a Hewes, yet. I have a 28 ft Wellcraft, because my wife and I like to go on overnight trips around the Chesapeake Bay. I'll get a Hewes when I retire on the flats in the Panhandle.

    How is the boat in inlets? Also would it be good for a younger boy, I have a baby on the way, and I need to convince the wife. Would it be okay in deeper water fluke jigging ?

    • @LazyLocations
      @LazyLocations  3 роки тому

      It's great for a skiff/flats boat but flats boats and skiffs shouldn't regularly run inlets unless glassy calm. Based upon your requirements I'd recommend another boat for going offshore for fluke and running inlets. Are you in Jersey? I used to fish for fluke up there.
