My head-canon is that the Stroller Mama, in her driving the stroller and her child around at mach speed, eventually and inevitably crashed and the baby went splat. In the life-altering surgery that ultimately save her life, the stroller had to be welded to her hands and she's now the first bionic woman.

Nice joke, but in reality “our” stalker in the game is violent (as you see from the way he attacks you). I have a feeling that the stalker had harmed the woman’s child because she harmed his “beloved” or us. This is also shown when she comes into the store sobbing, attempting to cope with the loss of her child by pretending he’s still there (a.k.a. her still pushing the stroller with no baby in it.)
Really sad if you think about it.

We actually have two stalkers in the game. A taller stalker (the one that attacks you at the end) and the short guy in the hoodie that buys all that milk.
The short stalker is *not* violent, and he isn’t shown to follow you home or follow you anywhere. He only sees you at your work (which is why he hides there; to see you more.) He also doesn’t seem to physically mess with you, only take pictures or stare for a little bit, then (seemingly) leave.
The taller stalker, however, doesn’t stay completely by you at most times (like the short stalker hiding in your workplace to be by you) but he is shown to be more brave and risk-taking by following you to work and hiding outside the drive-through area. Also, he is shown to be *very* violent and protective over his “beloved” or us, when he hurts (or murders) the woman’s baby who “harms” us. He also been shown to know more about you, like how he knows where you live, what car you drive, what time you get on and off work, how to get into your house (and car). He also plans his meetings with you, as you can see from your car randomly breaking down, and you seeing him watching you on the bus. He made your car break down to see you, OR he knew your car was broken down and assumed you would be on the bus.
