I had a similar fan running the battery dead problem with a Tahoe, moisture and corrosion in the PCM.

Yeah I’ve seen it a time or two on older ones for other symptoms. The red and blue connectors corrosion inside them. We have service kits for those. Probably similar?

On all those Chrysler products I yank the 't' out on the coolant line and go to ace hardware and get a brass 't' and solve bill and bobs oversight on the use of plastics in a high heat environment

Yeah we’ve done some like that. But if time allows we change out the assemblies.

Yeah, most of us in the business know better than a large majority of those commenting over and over on the videos made by 3 or 4 UA-cam channels that obviously hate Toyota.
They do have to fix the ones that had problems, but that is what they will do and are doing. :)

Three engines and a PS hose in the, Pontiac?. Just like that troublesome Jetta that you were blessed with, one can only hope that certain cars are swallowed by a sinkhole.

Well if the motor is newish then wouldn't the motor mounts be changed ? Especially if it's the third time on a motor change

They customer declined the parts, which would have been added with no extra labor.

Those same people have no problem dropping 3-4 hundred dollars on a hamburger lunch at Disney but won't come off of an extra dollar when it comes to their only mode of transportation. Priorities are twisted. See it all the time.
