Idk why but I feel like this is not just a movie, I've lived through that,in a past live or something. every time I listen to the music or just watch this movie I cry. It rlly touches my soul and heart and idk how to explain it, it's just rlly important to me
I feel the same way, this movie always makes cry ( in the good way ) It's like the feeling of having lost something, I can't explain it, but I have something with this movie.
Peter Pan & Wendy is nothing compared to this magical, timeless adaptation. I haven’t heard this beautiful nostalgic tune since I was a kid. It’s absolutely epic!
'It would be delightful to report that they reached the nursery in time... but then, there would be no story'. One of my favourite pieces of any movie's score
@@kaylakrumrei2853 I know, right? It was such a beautiful, intimate moment that really captured the transition between childhood dependence and free individuality. And the music just makes it 10 times stronger.
No other Peter Pan film has ever touched this one in my opinion. I love all of the other Peter Pan films that I’ve seen because I just love that story so much. But this one….this one is truly so magical and beautiful. It really does make you believe in magic and gives you this childhood wonderment no matter how old you are.
My girlfriend introduced me to this movie and soundtrack when I first met her. This piece now always reminds of the extreme joy and excitement I felt when I began to fall in love with her. It's cheesy, but I truly did feel like I was flying
You senses and neurosignals associate this piece of art music with the time you began developing feelings for your girlfriend. Wich makes a part of your brain create endorfins and you feel happy
By the way, this movie is how I got introduced to Peter Pan and the famous story and characters when I was a kid. My dad used to rent me and my brother movies to watch on DVD 📀 and this was one of them. I couldn’t ask for a better introduction.
The release of Peter Pan and Wendy (which I didn't watch) prompted me to rewatch this 2003 version which I was too young to understand when I first saw it in cinema. The moment I heard 0:54, I knew this would be one of my favourite films of all time.
I was an extra on this film for the school scene and I had to stand in for wendy during the camera set up and drew in her note book, I also got a photo with Jeremy Sumpter. This track instantly takes me straight back to that day on set or going to the movies to see it and makes me feel like a excited kid again.
To this day, this is the definitive Peter Pan experience for me, and it's mostly for this song right here. Made me feel like I could fly when I first watched it, and now I occasionally shed a tear for my childhood.
I can’t explain how this music instantly gives me this overwhelming amount of joy. The minute the best drops and all of the music starts getting louder it’s like a switch goes off in my brain and every part of me is just lifted into the air with joy, with a sense of adventure and wonder….I love it. I’ve never really heard another song like this before. Truly a masterpiece ❤️
I rewatched this film today, 4/14/23, for the first time since I was a child. The memories. The magic. The tears. It all came flooding back to me and to this day it made me feel like a kid. It will always be a legendary movie and I will defend it til the day I die. It's a perfect movie. (Also I had a crush on Jeremy Sumpter - Peter Pan. :P )

The most beautiful soundtrack to an otherwise underrated movie. It’s magical, whimsical, I really feel like I’m flying. This music also sets the tone for some of the really emotional parts in the movie (the kiss from Wendy and Peter flies into the air so happy makes me so emotional). Happy 20th Anniversary to this Peter Pan! (2003 - 2023). Oh gosh, I feel old. *NOSTALGIA MADE ME PUNCH MYSELF IN THE FACE* This will always be my favourite version of Peter Pan. Another movie that will forever have a special place in my heart.
Something I love about this film, which is something VERY few classic children's films do: it's not just extremely faithful to the book, it actually _interprets_ it. It takes the themes that are embryonic in the book (the hints of romance between Peter and Wendy, the tragedy of never growing up, the weird attraction Wendy feels for Hook, the mythological core of the Peter Pan figure as a nature spirit etc.) and develops them to their full extent.
This song somehow encompasses something I simply cannot put into words. Maybe it's because I grew up that I can't quite put my finger on the feelings it brings. It truly makes me want to flew away, right through my window. What is there holding me back? I'd like to offend reason with Peter Pan and be a kid again
this whole sound track gives me serotonin but this song in particular and especially 2:16 just hits different. bless james newton howard for his creativity
Seriously best flying music ever. I haven’t seen this movie in years but I’ve recently been really wanting to. I’ve been watching Once Upon A Time a lot with my sister and we both love that Peter Pan. THIS Peter Pan was like the first big crush I had. It was also the first live action crush I had. I had crushes on cartoon Peter Pan, Robin Hood, Aladdin and Hercules. But this Peter Pan!! Oh my gosh! I thought he was hot before my 6-7 year old brain knew what hot meant. And even now my 16 year old brain is like “Honey! How are you that hot?! You’re literally three years younger than me!!” But this music brings back so much nostalgia! I can just picture this scene. I love it!!
You can buy the movie on Amazon. I did a few week ago, you won’t believe how excited i was to watch it again whenever I wanted. It brings so much joy to my life and helps me forget things I want to. Plus I still have that inner child in me that would just love to live in Neverland and never grow up.
Anytime I think of this movie, I think of this musical masterpiece! Oooohhh, the nostalgia! It's really bittersweet and just reminds me of simpler times.
Fun fact: They played that song in the 2006 Disney Parks commercials and they played it in a Disney On Demand service from years ago! I wish this was a true Disney song!
I remember when I was younger, after watching this I used to imagine peter opening my window and taking me off to neverland! It crazy how much of an imagination we have when we are younger, as we get older we don't see the magic and joy in things anymore :(
Edit: This Peter Pan is much better than the disney Peter Pan & Wendy I just watched Peter Pan and Wendy. And yeah... most of the story were different from the animation or the novel. So many changes on the plot of the recent remake. This 2003 Peter Pan remake is much more better and had more similarities to the Disney Peter Pan animation film or even the novel. I both love this 2003 Peter Pan and the animation one.
If you were 5 and up when you first saw this I guarantee this song still makes you smile! This adaptation is as real as the story could ever be! Peter was "all that" to every girl that watched this, and Wendy was "all that" to every boy!
"Come away with me to Neverland, where you'll never, never have to worry about grown-up things again." Classic. Goodness, I had the biggest crush on Peter Pan in this movie. Lol

This is weird but , I had a crush on Peter Pan when I was Little, and I keep believing neverland was real and so was petter , then one night I went to sleep and dreamed Peter took me to neverland, I was wearing a long white dress, and I meet the lost boys they followed me , and I told Peter if this is real... and he said Keep Believing, and Thats when I woke Up
I have an idea for a modern day Peter Pan. Peter runs away because he hates being locked down in 2020 and believes he is too young to get invovled with all of the current events people were becoming hostile over.
I'd literally defend this film in court
